The flexible wall may be selectively locked in place relative to the outer wall of the body. Abstract: A package or container for holding two or more types or brands of smoking articles, such as cigarettes, having a generally rectangular shape with two openings on opposite sides of the container and a method of making the same is disclosed. The container has two lids, a body, and a separation member that divides the container into two or more compartments, each filled with smoking articles. The lids are made of metal and are hinged to the body on opposite ends of the container using strap hinges made of a paper or foil laminate, and contain printed information such as text and logos. The separation member includes raised portions to hold the smoking articles securely within the compartments and each compartment is sealed with a layer of film that may be pulled up and off of the container compartment using a tab attached to the sealing layer.

Abstract: A flask-shaped package or container for packaging smoking articles, such as cigarettes, has a generally parallelepiped shape with slightly curved front and back body panels. The container comprises a body and a lid integrally molded in one-piece of a plastic material with an open bottom having an internal peripheral shoulder and a base made of a separate plastic/metal foil laminate that is bonded to the shoulder by induction heating a heat-activated adhesive covering the metal foil of the base. The body has a central internal front-to-back stiffening rib and an access opening in its top and front panels with a surrounding ledge to which is adhesively bonded a removable foil closure. After the access opening is closed with the foil closure, cigarettes are inserted into the container body through the open bottom thereof.

Abstract: An apparatus for cigar storage preferably includes a main body container having a bottom, side portions connected to and extending upwardly from the bottom, and a plurality of cigar storage compartments formed within the main body and within the confines of the side portions and each having an open upper end thereof to position a cigar therein. The cigar storage compartments advantageously protect each individual cigar from damage, contamination, moisture, such as during travel, extensive use, toting, or other uses of the apparatus. The apparatus also preferably has a container lid positioned to overlie upper portions of the main body container when in a closed position to thereby cover the open upper end of each of the plurality of cigar storage compartments, and a cigar dispenser having portions thereof positioned within the main body container and responsive to a user to display and dispense each of the cigars positioned within the plurality of cigar storage containers.

Additionally, the fire extinguishing substance containing chamber may constitute a means for extinguishing cigarettes in table ashtrays of an otherwise conventional form.

Abstract: A multi-pack packaging sleeve comprising first and second pack receiving pockets each having at least one open end for insertion of product packs. A vertical hinge line is positioned between the pockets, and a vertical slotted opening between the pockets extends from one end of the hinge line. Each pack receiving pocket is constructed and arranged to receive a single product pack, or multiple packs may be received within at least one of the pockets. Closure flaps may be provided to close one end of each pocket.

Abstract: A portable, flexible humidor for cigars is provided. A flexible cigar storage compartment and a flexible moisture control compartment are connected by a passageway having a staggered series of channels which permit moisture-laden air to flow from one compartment to another while deterring the flow of liquid. Cigars are stored in the flexible cigar storage compartment and a moist sponge is inserted in the flexible moisture control compartment. Both compartments have resealable openings which permit the user to repetitively open and close the compartments to gain access to the cigars and the sponge.

Abstract: In accordance with the present invention there is provided a novel cigarette packaging system for “making your own” smokeable cigarettes. The kit is easily opened and allows a smoker to assemble a smokeable cigarette quickly without requiring great effort. The kit is inexpensive, convenient to use and also convenient to carry and store as its compact size is such that it fits in a person's hand, a shirt or coat pocket as well as in a ladies bag or purse. The kit is also advantageous because it is less expensive than tailor made cigarettes, yet is not that much wider than a standard, typical package of cigarettes. The construction of the kit, is such that it keeps the unsmokeable tobacco elements in a separate compartment which serves to help maintain the freshness of the tobacco.

Abstract: A new tobacco wrapping paper for allowing a person to roll their own cigars. The inventive device includes a plurality of tobacco sheets of wrapping paper. The tobacco sheets of wrapping paper are comprised of a blend of tobacco and pulp products. The tobacco sheets each have a generally rectangular configuration defined by opposed long edges and opposed short edges. Each of the tobacco sheets have a layer of adhesive disposed thereon inwardly of one of the opposed long edges thereof. A package is dimensioned for containing the plurality of tobacco sheets therein.

Abstract: A convenient, safe and economical packaging system for holding elongated smoking members has an open receptacle ashtray that collapses to a reduced closed receptacle container for storing ashes and other smoking debris. An outer sleeve and a container are connected through an accordion section. The accordion section folds by pushing the container into the outer sleeve collapsing the open ashtray receptacle to the closed receptacle. With the container pulled out the open ashtray receptacle is easily assessable through an access hole in the sleeve. the packaging system is particularly useful for packaging cigarettes and can be used several time before emptying the closed receptacle.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable humidor that allows for convenient storage and transport of cigars. A three-piece, rigid structure protects the cigars during transport and also includes a humidifying element that maintains the proper humidity level within the device. The humidifying element is housed within a receptacle at the bottom of the container, while a lid at the top of the container provides easy access to the cigars.

The closure tab is foldable onto the rear wall. The divider is located in an area between the two paper removal slots in the front wall and configured to permanently separate the two paper blocks within the package.
