Abstract: The present invention relates to utility surfaces. Specifically, the invention relates to a utility surface, generally a table or other flat surface, with drawers attached to the utility surface. In preferred embodiments of the present invention, the utility surface and attached drawers may be folded into a collapsed format that is convenient for portability.

Abstract: A tool organizer and method of making the same is provided which allows a user to quickly and easily store tools and other items of various sizes, shapes and configurations. The customizable organizer includes a depressible core capable of maintaining an impression of an object that is pressed into it. The organizer also includes a covering material such as a fabric, flock or elastomeric coating, which protects the outer surface of the core, and also provides an aesthetically pleasing appearance. A tacky adhesive is applied on an upper surface of the core so that when a tool or other item is pressed into the covering material that overlay the core, the tacky adhesive maintains the covering material in close conformity to the customized impression of the tool or other item created in the organizer.

Abstract: A device for holding and carrying various items, e.g., hand tools or other small items, is disclosed. It includes a lower tray, an upper tray, a pair of foldable strut assemblies and a handle. Each strut assembly includes a pair of leg sections pivotably connected together. The strut assemblies are located at diagonally located corners of the trays with their leg sections arranged to be pivoted to an open position, whereupon the upper tray is spaced above said lower tray to provide ready access to any items in said lower tray. Torsion springs are provided to hold the tray in that position.

Abstract: A tool box is equipped with a dual-colored handle. The dual-colored handle includes a frame of a color and a pad of another color. The frame is formed with two axles. The pad is formed with two rings each. Each of the rings is placed around and on a corresponding one of the axles as the frame and the pad are joined together.

Abstract: A tool storage and transport system including a tool bag body formed from a base, a first exterior wall perpendicular to the base, and a second exterior wall perpendicular to the base and opposite the first exterior wall; and a tool organizer slidably engagable with at least one of the first and second exterior walls. The tool organizer includes an organizer tray having a bottom wall, a plurality of sidewalls generally perpendicular to the bottom wall, a first end, and a second end opposite the first end. The first end is slidably engagable with the exterior wall.

Abstract: A hanging clip for tools includes a hanging clip body, a sleeving portion, a connecting portion, support limiting flanges, a flexible sheet, a positioning bulge and a male/female clamping part. The sleeving portion is directly extended to the bottom end of the hanging clip body. The flexible sheet is unfolded and extended downwards to the connecting portion and comprises of an inner surface, an outer surface, an extended end and a folded flange. The sheet could be unfolded and extended downwards via said folded flange, or bent and retracted upwards to form a columnar pattern together with the sleeving portion. The sleeving portion and flexible sheet are pre-fabricated and when the sleeving portion and flexible sheet are in service state, two vertical limiting walls of the sleeving portion could be supported via the support limiting flanges, thus saving manufacturing cost and enhancing the structural strength for excellent anti-theft functions.

Abstract: Protective cases and related components for cellular phones or other such portable electronic devices are disclosed. The cases may be used to encompass and protect the portable electronic device, while at the same time allowing a user to store, carry, and more effectively utilize discrete tools or sets of tools and accessories. In particular, protective cases for portable electronic devices are provided that include a shell, storage compartments, tools, and an integrated bracing member. Other protective cases for portable electronic devices are provided that include a shell and a swappable tool package. Various swappable tool packages are also provided that are designed to be housed in and fully removable from a protective case for portable electronic devices.

Abstract: The unique element of this tackle box can also be applied to a toolbox, sewing box, or any other type of utility box used for carrying various supplies. That unique element is the handle itself and the way that it automatically secures the top lid of the box when it's being carried and in the fact that the handle itself is attached to lower portion of the box and not attached to the lid, as is the case for most prior inventions that are similar. By attaching the handle to the lower portion of the box and not the lid, this invention solves the problem that occurs when the user commonly forgets to secure the lid (as required in prior related inventions with this design flaw) resulting in accidental spillage of its contents.

Abstract: A large rolling tool chest includes a generally rectangular body with a hollow interior, a plurality of wheels, and an adjustable handle to facilitate organization, storage, and transportation of numerous tools of various sizes. The handle pivots to allow a user to keep it out of the way when not in use. The tool chest also includes a large pouch to hold items which are frequently used. The top of the tool chest includes two horizontally extendable drawer assemblies that fold outward and open in sections.

Abstract: A toolbox has a central section and at least one side section. The side sections are pivotally attached to the central section using a pin and slot arrangement which allows an eccentric path to be followed as the side sections pivot around the central section. This allows freedom of design of the dimensions of a central tray in the central section without obstructing pivoting of the side sections. A latch may be provided which slightly opens the side sections when it is in its unlatched position allowing a user to see that the sides are not properly latched.

Abstract: An insert for protecting articles to be stored in a protective case. The insert is generally hollow and formed of a flexible thermoplastic material. The insert may be formed by a blow-molding process. The insert is shaped to fit within a protective case, which is also often formed by a blow-molded process. The material used to form the insert is less dense than that of the material used to form the protective case, and therefore the insert material is less stiff, softer, and more flexible.

Abstract: Specialized tool storage boxes may be produced by defining an inventory of tools to be stored in the box. The tools may be positioned in proposed desired locations. Shadows of the tools in their respective desired locations may be produced. Image of the shadows may be produced on an insert for the tool storage box. The insert may be placed in the box so that the tools can be replaced in the desired locations after being removed from the box.

Abstract: A tool holder is described. The tool holder can include a main panel and a plurality of sleeves extending from a front side of the main panel. The plurality of sleeves can include a first sleeve component forming peaks and valleys, a second sleeve component coupled to the first sleeve component, and a third sleeve component forming a plurality of outer peaks and outer valleys coupled to the second sleeve component. At least one primary opening can be formed between the main panel and the first sleeve component between adjacent valleys. At least one secondary opening can be formed between the second sleeve component and the first sleeve component between adjacent peaks. At least one tertiary opening can be formed between the second sleeve component and the third sleeve component between adjacent outer valleys. A tool can be received through each opening and stored in the tool holder.

Abstract: A portable tool box includes an integrated hanger for engagement with a ladder rung on a ladder. The tool box is quickly and easily placed on a ladder allowing a user to quickly and safely store and access multiple tools while on the ladder.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a box tool for repairing glasses including a box bottom and a box cover. A hanging ring is disposed on an end of the box bottom in order that consumers can hang the tool box at different place they want. The box bottom interconnects the box cover with a pivoting axle; the box cover can rotate in a range of 360° about the pivoting axle; a first fastener is disposed on a first end of the box bottom; a second fastener is disposed on a first end of the box cover. The box cover is made of transparent material with a megaloscope disposed in the middle thereof. A lamp and a battery are also disposed on a second end of the box bottom.

Abstract: A transportable tool box comprising a large compartment configured with upright extending side walls defining a top opening of the large compartment configured with a locomotive arrangement, and two compartmented covers slidingly displaceable over the top opening of the large compartment between a closed position wherein the covers coextend and cover the top opening, and an open position wherein the two covers are displaced away from one another and expose the large compartment to allow access thereto. A locking arrangement is provided for arresting the compartmented covers at the closed position.

A hinged lid completely separately covers each of the first top side and the second top side to secure items stored in compartments disposed within the base. Vertically oriented pockets on each of front and rear sides of the backboard body releasably secure hand tools therein. Each pocket has an open upper end, an open lower end, a strip member having a pair of spaced apart closed side walls, and a continuous opening between the strip member and the backboard body. The pockets include at least one standalone pocket and at least one row of the pockets. The pockets in each row of pockets are interconnected along the side walls.

Abstract: A mounting/dismounting toolkit for the driveshaft and bearings of a motorcycle essentially includes a box, a driveshaft mounting/dismounting tool set, and a bearing mounting/dismounting tool set. The box has a base and a cover connected by pivotal connectors of the correspondingly lateral sides of the base and the cover. The opposite lateral sides of the base and the cover can be fastened together by a fastener and are each provided with a through hole at corresponding positions. The outer sides of the through holes can jointly form a handle. The base is provided therein with a plurality of chambers respectively shaped to the tools of the driveshaft mounting/dismounting tool set and of the bearing mounting/dismounting tool set. The tools, once received in their respective fixed chambers in the base, are securely positioned in resistance to shaking, are prevented from getting lost, and are conveniently portable.

Abstract: A container system includes a plurality of containers, a plurality of container receiving regions, a plurality of base unit latches, and a base unit. Each base unit latch is arranged to latch an associated one of the containers at least partially within an associated one of the container receiving regions. The containers may be transported separately from the base unit, and may be used to store tools and other accessories. In one embodiment of the container system, each base unit latch comprises a resilient latch member connected to the base unit. The resilient latch member is biased into a lock position to engage a lock engagement portion on an associated one of the containers. The resilient latch member may be movable against the bias to a release position wherein the associated container is able to be removed from the associated container receiving region.

The peripheral wall has an interior surface on the inside of the bucket and an exterior surface outside the bucket. At least one flexible plastic panel is provided. Each flexible panel has a front surface and a back surface. The front surface of each panel contains holding mechanisms for retaining tools. The back surface of each panel is flat and smooth. At least one flexible panel attaches to the peripheral wall of the bucket so that the back surface of the flexible plastic panel abuts against and conforms to the curvature of the bucket.

Abstract: A tool storage and bolt organizer device (10) is provided having a tray top (11) including a bolt storage rack (21), and hex head bolt size gauges (19) and (20). A modular bolt storage rack (26) is removably coupled to the bolt storage rack (21) providing for additional bolt storage. The tray top (11) is preferably constructed by a plastic injection molding process and the support frame (35) preferably includes a first leg (38) and a second leg (39) that are pivotally connected. The legs desirably have a generally X-shaped configuration when the legs are placed an upright position and the legs can be collapsed into a storage position. The support frame (35) can be connected to the tray top (11) by inserting the legs (38) and (39) into the clamps (25) to fully erect the tool storage and bolt organizer device (10). The legs (38) and (39) can detached and the tray top (11) can be utilized by itself where the clamps (25) can function as a base to rest on a surface.

The compartments removably straw an eating utensil which are easily displayed in and removed from their respective compartments.

Abstract: A tote having both a caddy and a removable mini caddy is disclosed. The removable mini caddy attaches to the caddy with a series of guide walls and guide rails that allow the removable mini caddy to be cooperatively received by the caddy. The handle of the removable mini caddy nests with the handle of the caddy while they are attached, providing the user with a single handled tote that is easy to transport and use while still having the convenience of an extra tote where objects can be temporarily removed and then replaced without the need for transferring the objects from one tote to another. The removable mini caddy may be easily removed and then replaced within the caddy while remaining securely in place during use and transport.

Abstract: The present invention features a ladder tool tray with separable paint bucket. The tool tray comprises a first section as a tool organizer and a second section for paint bucket. The second section is removably attached to the first section via securing clasps and a top bracket. The first section comprises a plurality of storage compartments, screw driver holders, drill holders and cleaning tower/clothes hangers. The second section is a paint bucket with integrated hook to hold paint roller above the paint within the paint bucket. Each section has a handle for individual lifting and the handles can be held jointly to carry both sections together.

Abstract: A method of retrieving a tool bit from a tool bit case includes supporting the tool bit with a bit retainer of the tool bit case at an oblique angle relative to a bottom surface of the tool bit case so that a drive portion of the tool bit extends generally away from the bottom surface, engaging the drive portion of the tool bit with a driver while the tool bit is supported by the bit retainer, and removing the tool bit from the bit retainer by manipulating the driver.

Abstract: A configurable briefcase desktop having two generally planar support columns, each support column having a fixed length section and an extendable section. The extendable section of each support column is comprised of a scissors linkage and an elongated foot member. The elongated foot member provides improved load distribution across the surface supporting the invention. Embodiments typically include a fold lock mechanism to releasably lock each support column in its folded configuration. Other embodiments have a support stiffening mechanism adapted to yieldably resist movement of its respective support member from its support configuration. Further embodiments comprise at least one load sensor system to provide a warning signal when the extendable section of a support column is in extended configuration and subjected to a compression force in excess of a predetermined amount. In some embodiments the fold lock mechanism and support stiffening mechanism of a particular support column may be mechanically ganged.

Abstract: Painters employ multiple painting implements during painting which must be moved around as they move or stored during painting as activities are paused temporarily. Accordingly it would be beneficial to provide a painting transportation and storage system that met such requirements. However, as painters seek to minimize expenses by buying those paint trays on special offer, disposable paint tray liners, quart or gallon paint cans for small painting jobs, etc. it would be beneficial for such a system to provide flexibility in handling paint cans as well as paint trays, different sizes of paint cans, variations in paint tray dimensions, etc as well as providing an easily maneuvered system during their painting session to reflect their motion and areas being painted that can be quickly closed at the end of a painting session or their change of paint.

Abstract: A tool carrying device configured for removable engagement atop a stepladder and to provide elevated support for a user when the carrying device is positioned on the ground. A secure removable engagement with the top of the ladder is provided by walls descending from a top which form a skirt to surround the top end of the ladder and hold the device from sliding therefrom. Removable tool holders and shelves to hold and store tools are provided, allowing the user a secure tool box when atop a ladder and a slightly elevated working structure for tasks requiring a lower elevation for the user.

Abstract: Whether constructed of square or rectangular configuration with handles for lifting and carrying about, and with internal shelves or braces to receive and hold compartmentalized partitioned layers to accept the various tools of various trades, the container of the invention, when of a composition to support the weight of studs and boards placed upon them, provides a crate which cannot only carry the tools of the trade, but can serve as a workbench in performing needed work at a jobsite location, as well as to support the weight of a workman standing upon included boards and studs as a “step” to reach elevated heights in the doing of a required job.

Abstract: A tool positioning pad includes a pad having position holes opened therethrough. A plurality of position blocks is extruded from the pad. Each position block is located between each two diagonally adjacent position holes. At least one holder member is assembled onto the position holes of the pad. The holder member has a holder unit, a post unit and a plate unit. The holder unit is connected to one end of the post unit. The plate unit is connected to another end of the post unit. Two ends of the plate unit are extended from the post unit. Upon assembling, a user inserts the holder member into the position hole firstly; and then, the plate unit of the holder member is engaged with the bottom side of the pad by rotating the holder member, so as to assemble the holder member onto the pad.

Abstract: A multifunctional tray case is disclosed which resembles a briefcase for tools, lights, power cords, and other smaller items, and can be used where a level and secure surface is not available and/or lighting is limited. The multifunctional tray case further comprises a handle for transportation of the case and at least one power outlet and/or light socket positioned near the back of the case. The multifunctional tray case further comprises a main compartment removably secured to an interior of the first complimentary half which comprises a large central tray and/or segmented trays, and a fold-open cover. Furthermore, the multifunctional tray case comprises movable legs secured to the corners of the second complimentary half.
