Abstract: A tool bag with wheels includes a base and back side reinforced by a polymeric board. Wheel wells and a telescoping handle affixed to the polymeric back sheet or board facilitate maintenance of the configuration of the open topped tool bag. An additional polymeric board can be folded over the base and inserts placed in the foldable lateral side walls to further facilitate the maintenance of the configuration of the open topped, wheeled tool bag.

Abstract: A toolbox has a body, a top holder, a bottom holder, a first cap and a second cap. The top holder and the bottom holder are mounted in the body. The first cap and the second cap are pivotally attached to the body, engage each other to open and close together and cover the top holder, so that the toolbox opens easily. Further, the caps are made of a transparent material and allow the tools in the toolbox to be seen easily.

Abstract: A toolbox includes two shells, a lock and a plurality of tool holders. The shells are pivotally connected to each other. The lock can lock the shells to each other. Abstract: A carrying case assembly for a power tool and the method of interconnecting the carrying case with the power tool. The carrying case has a plurality of sides that define an internal area. An attachment mechanism is disposed within the case along a first side. The attachment mechanism receives and retains the power tool. A slot is formed in the first side of the carrying case. The cutting element of the power tool extends through the slot and extends out of the carrying case. Power is provided within the carrying case to operate the power tool within the carrying case. Work guides are provided on the exterior of the carrying case that are used to help move material against the cutting element that extends out of the carrying case from the power tool.

Abstract: An organizer for securely retaining hand tools and other miscellaneous small items particularly in environments where space for working is limited and the tools must be organized and conveniently available. The organizer includes a container defining an interior in which is disposed a support plate having openings adapted for the insertion and support of various items such as hand tools and a bottom wall for supporting the lower ends of those items that extend through the support plate and are long enough to reach the bottom wall. For even longer items the bottom wall is provided with one or more openings of sufficient size to allow the item to extend through the bottom wall. The support panel may be hinged for pivoting to an open position to provide access to the interior for tool storage. Either the top wall or the front wall of the organizer are adapted to be opened and retracted for access to the interior and support plate of the organizer.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a tool holder convertible between storage and display configurations and a method of manufacture therefore. In one embodiment, the tool holder includes a flexible wrapper including first and second parallel major and minor edges and a fold line located between the first and second major edges. The tool holder also includes a first fastener including first and second portions located proximate the first and second minor edges, respectfully, that is alignable in opposition to allow a coupling of the first and second minor edges.

Abstract: A tool box includes a main body, a cover pivotally mounted on the main body, a driving rack movably mounted in the main body, a plurality of receiving portions each pivotally mounted in the main body and each having a side provided with a toothed rotation block meshing with the driving rack, and a rotation gear rotated by the cover and meshing with the driving rack. Thus, when the cover is pivoted relative to the main body to a determined position, each of the receiving portions is pivoted and moved to a vertical position, thereby facilitating the user removing the hand tool, such as the screwdriver tip, from each of the receiving portions.

Abstract: A tool tray support adapted for placement on the top step of a ladder, the support comprising a receptacle for storing construction material and at least one opening formed in the receptacle for supporting a hand tool. The receptacle includes a plurality of cells, the cells dedicated to storing hand tools or materials, thereby maintaining order and organization. The openings are formed so that the elongated portion of the hand tool is inserted therethrough, and the widest portion of the hand tool is suspendingly impinged by the narrower opening. The support includes an electrical cord electrically coupled with an integral electrical outlet, thereby providing electricity from a source to the integral electrical outlet for providing power to an electrical hand tool.

Abstract: Portable container apparatus and method for co-storing work articles including working implements and their associated elongated elements such as cable, power cord, hose, wire, string, thread, yarn, rope, bridle or leash elements. The container retains a collection of working implements within its inner cavity while simultaneously retaining elongated elements upon its outer surface of revolution. The container rotates to facilitate wrapping and unwrapping of the elongated elements. The container, which may include retractable wheels, is further configured as a seat or step-stool. An optional electrical supply source is included on the container wall.

Abstract: A tool storing device is disclosed. It mainly includes a pair of vertical plates, a solid handle, a first partition, a second partition, and a tool receiving portion. Then, it forms a first storing space and a second storing space. These two vertical plates connected by the solid handle forms a solid structure. Due to the first partition and the second partition, the first and second storing spaces can be slight expended or compressed. By the tool receiving portion design, this invention is a stable and light-weighted storing device, and the variety of its use is increased.

Abstract: A tool case for the storage of drill bits and similarly shaped tools includes two housing members that are hingedly attached and which open and close, with respect to one another. The tool case of the present invention includes elastomeric material surrounding the periphery of the tool case and tool trays on the inside of the case that retain inverted drill bits and similarly shaped tools. The tool trays disposed within the two housing members are removably attached to inner recessed cavities in the housing member by snapping male protrusions located on the tray into corresponding female recesses located on the inner surface of the recessed cavities.

Abstract: A tool tray having a universal support system enables the tool tray to be placed on a variety of working surfaces. The tool tray includes a rectangular platform having a flat surface surrounded by a plurality of upstanding walls. The platform is supported by four legs which are attached to the platform and protrude downwardly therefrom. The legs each have a bottom surface for supporting the platform on a horizontal surface, and a tapered inner side surface for engaging opposite sides of a vehicle tire for supporting the platform on the vehicle tire. The legs are slidably adjustable to accommodate different sizes of vehicle tires. Two detachable socket trays and a detachable parts tray are attached to the platform by respective structures that hook over the upper edges of the platform. Handles are formed at respective opposite ends of the platform to facilitate lifting and carrying the tool tray assembly.

The skirt includes front, back and side panels associated with respective sides of the ladder and that establish a lower perimeter adapted to enable use as a free-standing tool carrier. The panels are preferably elastically connected to slip snugly around the upper portion of the ladder. Accessory tool holders are adapted to be slipped into snug pockets for holding larger-size tools and other articles not conveniently held in the pockets. A preferred panel-supporting frame structure assists in maintaining the shape of the skirt.

In one embodiment, the power source for the construction box may provide 12V and be removed for remote recharging.

Abstract: A firearm cleaning kit includes a soft case which unzips along three sides so that the case is divided into two portions connected by a fabric fold line. Attached to the case at the fold line is a backing with a tool insert which has cavities for holding cleaning tools. The tool insert is optionally removably connected to a backing so that tool inserts with differently shaped cavities can be used. In one variation, an additional tool insert connects to the backing, leaving the backing sandwiched between the two tool inserts.

Abstract: The toolbox has a primary case, two add-on cases and four pivot pins. The primary case has a front casing and a rear housing. The rear casing has two pivoting sides, two locking hinges and multiple hinge barrels. The add-on cases are pivotally attached to the pivoting sides and each has a connecting casing and a pivoting housing. Each connecting casing is attached to one of the pivoting sides and each has multiple hinge barrels and a resilient clamp. Abstract: A novel safety device for step ladders. This safety device is fabricated and positioned so as to deter, dissuade and deny the ladder user access to the unsupported top step of a step ladder while allowing the user to an aloft tool organizer for pre-loading job materials thereby eliminating the need to repeatedly climb up and down the ladder carrying materials. More people are killed doing construction work every year than in any other occupation and falls are the biggest killer of employees in the construction industry, many of these falls involve the improper use of ladders. Falls are the leading cause of death in and around the home, according to the National Safety Council, there are thousands of people die from falls around the home each year and many suffer disabling injuries many of these also involve ladders. At work or at home, these accidents invariably occur because the victims violate the basic rules of ladder safety.

Abstract: A dual compartment, dual open mouth tool bag is fabricated from flexible material forming the side and top panels of the bag and the dual access openings. Each of the separate open mouth openings provides separate access to an individual compartment within the bag. The compartments may, in an alternative embodiment, be connected one to the other.

Abstract: A cleaning kit operable by a tool for cleaning pipes and fittings to prepare same for soldering. The cleaning kit includes a plurality of sockets including wire bristles attached thereto and for receiving the outer surface of a pipe therealong. The plurality of pipes are maintain in continuous contact with a pipe surface for cleaning same while a tool rotatably engages the plurality of sockets about the pipe. The cleaning kit also includes a shank for receiving the plurality of sockets therein and for removably connecting to a tool respectively. A wire brush including a lower end portion and a second shank connected thereto is removably attachable to a tool so that the wire brush can rotatably engage an interior of a pipe and thereby clean same.

Abstract: The present invention is a storage device ideally suited for storing a ladder or any elongated object. The storage device of the present invention comprises an elongated storage box having a front wall, rear wall, bottom wall, top wall and a pair of side walls forming a box assembly having an interior storage area. Located on the lower wall and extending beyond each side wall is a flange member that forms an inherent lip. Apertures extend though the flange and are adapted to receive conventional securing devices. This will allow for the device to be secured to any desired object, such the bed of a truck. The front wall is angled for reducing when resistance when the device is secure to a vehicle and when the vehicle is in motion. At least one additional storage compartment can be secured to any wall of the storage box for added storage capability.

Abstract: A ladder caddy for holding tools, small parts, and the like for a workman on a ladder includes four curved cradles for holding the caddy to the ladder, two of the cradles holding consecutive and respective rungs of the ladder when the caddy is mounted in a first position, and two of the cradles holding consecutive and respective rungs of the ladder when the caddy is mounted in a second position inverted and upside down from the first position. The caddy includes a tool holding structure extending outwardly from the ladder at an angle of approximately 15 degrees offset from perpendicular so that when the caddy is mounted on a leaning ladder the structure extends approximately horizontally. The caddy includes a clamp for clamping to the ladder, integrally formed tool holders, and a variety of accessories that mate with the caddy body.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a toolbox with reinforced structural strength and compression resistance. To increase the structural strength and compression resistance of a toolbox, an upper casing in accordance with the present invention comprises a plastic layer with a reinforced structure and such reinforced structure enhances the strength and the effect of compression resistance of the toolbox.

Abstract: Described is a carrier of articles for wearing around a forearm. The carrier includes a carrier body having a top side, a center portion, and an end portion on each side of the center portion. The carrier also includes means for fastening the end portions to each other when the end portions are wrapped around opposite sides of the forearm to secure the carrier to the forearm. A strap extends across at least a portion of the top side of the carrier body and is attached to the top side at a plurality of locations such that a compartment is defined for receiving and holding an article between the strap and the center portion.

Abstract: An apparatus for holding and storing tools in a vehicle, including a storage body shaped to fit inside the hub of a spare wheel. The storage body has a jack storage space for securely holding a vehicle raising jack, a lug wrench-receiving space for securely holding a lug wrench and a hollow storage well for holding and storing one or more various user-selected tools or accessories. The storage well has a volume approximately as large as said jack storage space. The storage well may be substantially crescent shaped in cross section and extends substantially the full depth of the storage body for thereby providing a relatively large storage space in a otherwise restricted area of a vehicle trunk. Optionally, tools may be added to the storage body, and fitted into the appropriate storage spaces therein, to form a compact tool kit and storage receptacle for a vehicle.

Abstract: A tool and hardware accessory having base securable to the top cap of a ladder at clamps which are designed to provide universal mounting to most ladder caps. A tray is pivotally mounted to the accessory base at hinge sections and when deployed extends forwardly and slightly upwardly to accommodate weighty items, such as paint cans, without being depressed below a generally horizontal position. The tray has compartments for hardware items and may include removable organizer containers for small parts. A magnetic element, such as a flexible magnetic pad, may be provided to retain small parts.

Abstract: A tool container includes a case portion defining a storage space and a cover portion movably attached to the case portion moveable between a closed position in which the cover portion covers an opening into the storage space and an open position in which access to the storage space is permitted. The cover portion is securable in the closed position. The cover portion has an elongated level storage space for storing a level therein, and a secondary cover portion movably mounted to the cover portion for movement between a closed position wherein the secondary cover portion covers the elongated level storage space to retain the level therein and an open position wherein access to the level stored in the elongated storage space is permitted.

Abstract: A ladder that has a top portion that has numerous magnets attached or embedded into it. The magnets surround the sides of the ladder top as well as attached to the underside of the top plate. In this way, tools, fasteners, paint cans, or any other metal items can be secured quickly and safely to the ladder top at any time. Moreover, because the device uses thin, flexible magnets, the ladder top is no bulkier than a normal ladder top. Finally, because of the construction, the ladder top is not covered by anything that impairs using the top in a normal way, such as sitting or standing on the top (although this is not a recommended practice, many workers routinely do this as part of their working habits). With this device, workers can fully utilize the ladder as if there was no magnetic holder attached.

The apparatus also includes a lid configured to be pivotably attached to the base and removable from the base. The lid is configured to enclose the tray between the base and the lid and the tray and the base configured to be no greater than about 2 inches in thickness. The method includes containing parts in a tray having cavities configured to store the parts. The method further includes containing the tray in the base, containing additional parts in the base, and removing a lid to uncover the tray. The method further includes placing the tray in toolbox drawer configured to accept an item of a thickness of about 2 inches or less.

Abstract: A storage and carrying case includes semi-rigid spaced end panels and a semi-rigid bottom panel all joined together by means of a fabric over layer and a fabric under layer which are stitched together by a binding which also connects to front and back panels to form an enclosure for tools or the like. A single binding may thus be utilized to join all of the flexible fabric materials which retain the semi-rigid or rigid panels forming the enclosure.

A restriction frame is on the test device and restrain the range of the shank of the tool to swing.

The outer frame (20) is composed of two shells (22), and each shell (22) accommodates one half body (10) and has two strip recesses (224) mating with the strip (12) on the half body (10). A strap is mounted on the storage unit for suspending the storage unit from a user's body. In one preferred embodiment, the core section comprises a section of a tire, and a method of the invention includes forming the storage unit from a tire by cutting the side and perimeter tread walls of the tire at two locations to form the core section and mounting a filler wall over a portion of the side wall opening.

The arrow support members are angularly disposed to each other to prevent arrows from disengaging from the support members during transport of the case.

Abstract: A tool bag having a bag body defining an interior area and a central panel coupled to the bag body bifurcating the interior area. Openings in the bag body provide access to the interior area. A tool deflector is coupled to the central panel. At least one tool pocket is coupled to and defined in part by the tool deflector. The tool deflector is made from a suitable material such as plastic to provide a hard surface to prevent the edges of tools from damaging the central panel when placed in or removed from the tool pockets. A handle is attached to the bag body for carrying the tool bag. The tool bag provides for safe, orderly and convenient storage and transport of tools.
