Abstract: In a method of packaging planographic printing plates disclosed herein, a stack is formed by planographic printing plates and interleaf sheets, or by only planographic printing plates. The stack is packaged with internal packaging paper without using conventional protective cardboard. In a packaging structure for planographic printing plates, the stack is loaded on a loading member and a top plate is placed on the stack. The stack and the loading member are integrally bound with a fixing band made of resin without using a conventional bolt-fastening operation. A reinforcing plate is fixed onto the top plate correspondingly to the fixing band so as to prevent bending or deformation of the top plate.

  • Patent number: 6460727
Abstract: An improved pop-up system for dispensing sheet products from continuous perforated web material. A perforated web (12) is drawn through a slit-like dispensing opening (14) which, though close-fitting, does not constrict the web (12). Catch flaps (18) capable of swinging out of plane with the web are formed in the web by two symmetrical cuts (20) in the same line extending perpendicularly inward from the longitudinal edges of the web; the cuts each extend through one-third of the web (12) and are bridged by a perforated region (16). When the pop-up presentment (24) is pulled, the catch flaps are drawn to the opening (14) where they catch, bend backward, and jam, becoming caught flaps (22). This causes enough tension in the perforated region (34) drawn outside the opening (14) to break the dispensed individual sheet (10) free, leaving another pop-up presentment (24). A number of different, more developed dispensers for rolls and folded stacks using this system are further detailed in additional embodiments.

  • Patent number: 6460696
Abstract: Top and bottom frame supports are spaced apart and secured together by central end posts. Downwardly opening grooves along the arcuate edges of the top frame support align with upwardly opening grooves along the arcuate edges of the bottom frame support to form mating tracks into which credit cards are inserted. The credit cards bend into the shape of the grooves and overlap with two cards on each side to form side enclosure surfaces which enclose a storage space between the cards on each side and the top and bottom frame supports for storing money and other valuables. A holder with a key, pen, knife, or other device may be inserted in a notch in the top frame support. Alternately the framed supports may be hinged together at one end to form a hinged clamshell-type container.

A pocket for keeping small articles is constructed with the edge part of the lower material in the horizontal direction, and a pocket material which is placed over the lower material. A take-out opening of the pocket is facing toward the center of the pocket tissue holder, and is arranged perpendicular to the take-out slit. According to such a structure, it is possible to obtain a pocket tissue holder with more convenient applications.

Abstract: A holding case has an intermediate packing member for only a card-type object. The intermediate packing member has a cavity for receiving the card-type object and holding mechanism for holding the card-type object. The holding mechanism has first and second claws which projects into the cavity. The second claw formed on a beam which is formed by forming a slit beside a base of the second claw. The beam bends in response to external force supplied from the outside, consequently projecting degree of the second claw into said cavity changes in response to the external force. An external casing member is based on ISO standards for a CD case.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a card holder arrangement for holding a card that contains specific information and that has specific dimensions. The card holder comprises a rectangular or generally rectangular base plate, raised first side-edges extending along respective long sides of said base plate, raised second side-edges extending along respective short sides of the base plate, a projection on each of the raised first side-edges, said projections extending in over the base plate and towards each other from that edge surface of respective first side-edges which face away from the base plate. The raised second side-edges and the short sides of the base plate include recesses that enable a card placed in said card holder to be gripped on each short side of the card holder, these recesses dividing the raised second side-edges into two laterally related part-edges.

Abstract: The container (10) has a plurality of slots (14) for the insertion of check or credit cards to be held by it. So that each card can be removed individually, rockers (22) are pivotably mounted at a rear end face (20) of the container (10), are joined to one another integrally by way of resilient connectors (36) so as to be movable relative to one another and are joined integrally with push rods (38) extending to a front face (16) of the container by way of a strip hinge (40). By pressing on push buttons formed on the push rods (38) at the front face, the rockers (22) pivot and push the card in question out of the container (10). The invention has the advantage that the rockers (22) can be produced integrally with one another and with their push rods (38) in the form of an injection-molded component.

The sheath has a protective strip along the top and bottom area of a front and rear panel for protection of the data encoded strip of a credit card or the like regardless of the orientation of the card in the holder. The protective strips thus shield the magnetically recorded data from magnetic and electric fields which might otherwise erase or damage such magnetically stored data. The card holder also includes a lengthwise centrally disposed transparent area in both the front and rear panel to enable observation of the identifying number imprinted on the card. The card holder also includes a screened area or stripe along the top and bottom areas of the front and rear panels on which informational material can be printed.
