Abstract: A retail or advertising display contains visual cues which convey the area of use and the method of use of a novel vertical pump-up dispenser to the consumer. Having a sponge or other substrate on top of the dispenser conveys the area of use of the dispenser. The dispenser has a large actuator surface designed to convey that it can deliver a composition to a broad substrate area, such as a sponge, in the consumer's hand without the consumer having to pick up the pump dispenser. Having a hand over the substrate and dispenser conveys the one-handed method of cleaning that the dispenser allows. There may be additional indicia of use, such as arrows pointing down. The retail display may contain the dispenser and the substrate packaged together.

Abstract: A carrying case for an electronic device, such as a tablet personal computer, is provided, and more specifically a case that allows a user to selectively position a display screen of the tablet personal computer by rotation coupled with angular support. The case is easily adapted for use with many types and models of personal electronic devices and may be utilized to view the display screen in a plurality of orientations.

Abstract: An elongate, rectangular box (12, 14, 40, 60, 70, 90, 100) and method for packaging containers (C), wherein the box can be cross-stacked for stable stacking of the boxes, and optimizes utilization of pallet space. Containers (C) are placed in the box in nested, offset relationship in a parallelogram shaped arrangement, and in one embodiment interior corner panels (20, 21) extend angularly across two diagonally opposite corners of the box, defining an interior box shape closely conforming to the parallelogram-shaped arrangement of the containers. The corner panels may be cut from the side walls (18, 19) and folded inwardly and secured at a free edge (28) to an adjacent end wall (16, 17), defining openings (22, 23) in the side wall through which the containers are visible. Side wall segments (24, 25, 26) at the bottom and sides of the opening, in cooperation with the corner panels, retain the containers in place in the box. The box is especially suited for packaging four one-gallon containers.

Abstract: A sample display unit for sheets goods that is easy to transport and assemble, sturdy to withstand a plurality of sheet goods for a lengthy time, and capable of containing advertisements. The sample display unit for sheet goods has a rectangular body, a shelf, and a header. The rectangular body includes a back panel, a face panel, and side panels with inclined top edges. The shelf partitions the rectangular body into an upper sample display container and a lower enclosure. The shelf is also provided at a suitable height to allow the sheet goods such as desk mats, floor mats, carpet mats and chair mats to be removed with ease. In one embodiment, a support base can be situated within the lower enclosure to provide support for the shelf and the display unit. In another embodiment, a frame can be used to support the shelf and the display unit.

Abstract: A box, a blank that can be easily formed into the box via an intermediate box assembly, and methods for generating and using the box allows one to quickly and easily package flowers and accessories for shipment to a consumer without bending, bruising or otherwise damaging the flowers. The box includes an insert that extends from a side of the box and is pivotable into an interior of the box. The insert includes a divider that extends from the insert and can be attached to a side after the flowers have been placed in the interior to extend between two sides and divide the interior into two compartments. One compartment contains the flower portion of the flowers while the other compartment contains the stem portion of the flowers and the accessories. The blanks allow one to quickly and easily generate the boxes and ensure that the box generated will have an insert to protect the flowers during shipment.

Abstract: The present invention provides for a case for transporting handguns and methods of using and manufacturing the same. In one embodiment, the case is comprised of (i) an expansion mechanism located within the case, having a mounting bar coupled thereto and configured to deploy the mounting bar as the case is opened; and (ii) a handgun holder coupled to the mounting bar that includes (a) a clamp configured removably to secure the handgun holder to the mounting bar and coupled to a first shank having a threaded receptacle at an end thereof, (b) a holster seat configured to conform, and coupled, to a handgun holster and further coupled to the side of a second shank having a major axis substantially transverse to a longitudinal axis of the handgun holster, an end of the second shank mating with the end of the first shank, and (c) a fastener configured to pass through an opening through the second shank along the major axis and engage the threaded receptacle.

Abstract: A portable carrier includes a base housing and a cover member secured to the base housing. The base housing is provided with an internal cavity defined by a bottom wall and an enclosing wall extending substantially upwardly from the bottom wall. The cover member is adapted for selectively reconfiguring the portable carrier between a first, closed position preventing access to the internal cavity and a second, open position providing access to the internal cavity. The cover member is dimensioned to closely conform an outer peripheral surface of the base housing so that in the second position the cover member is nested under the base housing over and around the outer peripheral surface thereof. The portable carrier further includes a child-resistant locking device provided for preventing the portable carrier from being open.

It also includes a rigid hinge portion 12 that lies adjacent to the inner face of the base tray's rear wall 20, and is attached to a tray insert 6 via a tab 13. The arrangement is such that, at closure, the lid 4 sits flush on the base tray 3, and such that the lid 4 can remain in an open position inclined to the vertical, with the flexible hinge portion 11 taut and the lower end of the lid rear wall 15 abutting the outer face of the base tray rear wall 20. This allows an item to be displayed in the box in an attractive and pleasing manner.

Abstract: An improved self-lifting apparatus for box cover comprising a -shaped bar provided on the box cover with both ends bended to accommodate elastic component. The elastic component is provided with extended arms on both ends, one end pressing the -shaped bar and the other end being inserted into the hole of the box, thereby simplifying the production procedure and allowing box cover to be lifted automatically. With the elastic component, the -shaped bar can be used as file holder in the box and the box can be used for a longer period of time.

Abstract: An improved structure of toolbox aims at the shortcomings of the traditional toolbox structure that can only be placed horizontally but not vertically. By means of the bottom of bottom box structure having a blocking slope with an appropriate angle and a central extended coupling structure, the present invention works together with the bottom of a covering tray structure being disposed at a coupling opening and a blocking surface. Since the blocking slope presses against the blocking surface and gives an inclined angle for the arrangement of placing the toolbox vertically, the user is able to find and store tools in a quick manner.

Abstract: A needle package (1), particularly for packaging needles (N), has a hold-down device (23) that is disposed in an interior space (I) and serves to secure the needles (N) in the interior space (I). The hold-down device (23) is formed, for example, by one or two resilient elements, such as clamping lips (24, 25), which extend transversely to the needles (N) through the interior space (I). The clamping lips (24, 25) are disposed on the inside of a segment of the package (1) that is moved toward the needles (N) after the package has been filled, so the clamping lips (24, 25) rest against the needles (N). The segment can be formed, for example, by a lid segment (12) that is seated to pivot on the receiving area (3) of the package (1). This package can be filled particularly simply, and is suitable for various types of needles.

Abstract: A carton for packaging fragile article comprising an outer sleeve and an inner article receiving structure. The inner structure comprises an inner sleeve having a first pair of opposed side walls secured to a first pair of opposed side walls of the outer sleeve and a second pair of opposed side walls spaced apart from a second pair of opposed side walls of the outer sleeve. The inner structure further comprises a first bridging closure panel hingedly connected to one end of the inner sleeve for movement between an open position where the bridging closure panel allows the inner and outer sleeves to collapse into a flat form and a closed position where the bridging closure panel forms a first brace structure between one of the second pair side walls of the inner structure and the adjacent one of the second pair side walls of the outer sleeve.

A flap integral with a portion of the shadow box is disposed between the four side portions to form a hidden compartment between the flap and the bottom portion within which the associated items are hidden and a display compartment above the flap within which the item to be displayed is displayed by disposing the item on the flap. The shadow box and flap are formed of a single piece of sheet material. A transparent protective material wrap is provided to cover the shadow box entirely when assembled so as to provide protection and enclose the display compartment.

The box-like body herein houses an internal space (30) in which the articles for packaging can be accommodated. According to the invention this internal space (30) is intended to receive therein only a first of the two articles, the first article being supplied as standard. The box-like body (1) is provided with a recess (40) accessible from outside for receiving a second article therein, which second article can be an optional article which is precisely determined only later.

Abstract: A package which can display the contents includes a carton having at least a portion of a front wall which is transparent. Inside the cavity of the carton is an insert which has a plurality of projections having clamps which are designed to engage portions of the displayed contents, the projections extending away from the back of the carton to lend a three-dimensional effect to the display. The insert may be of a transparent plastic material so that the inside surfaces of the carton may be decorated in a fashion independent of the shape of the product displayed or the manner in which it is positioned. The insert also has a number of extension arms which register the insert securely inside the cavity, and which may also act as supports for the insert to act as a display stand when not inside the carton.

Abstract: A container assembly for candying display-packaged delicate baked goods includes a container having opposing side walls interconnected with opposing end walls, a bottom interconnected with each of the side and end walls, a top, and an interior. A retaining tray has at least one aperture therein, and is removably received in the container interior. The retaining tray is dimensioned such that the container side and end walls restrict movement of the retaining tray in a direction perpendicular to the container side and end walls. The retaining tray includes at least one spacing member extending therefrom and spacing the retaining tray from an underlying surface. A display package includes a pan portion and a top removably secured to the pan portion. The pan portion includes a projection extending outwardly therefrom, and is removably received within the aperture until the projection contacts the retaining tray.

Abstract: A display and carrying package is provided which is particularly adapted for displaying and carrying a bedding ensemble, but which could be used for displaying and carrying any ensemble of products of different sizes. The package is in the form of a closed flexible bag, preferably box-shaped, having generally flat transparent front and rear walls and, preferably, having non-transparent side and top walls connected thereto. The bag preferably includes a zipper for closing and opening the bag to provide access to the interior of the bag. The ensemble of products of different sizes is positioned inside the bag with the large ensemble product in juxtaposition to the transparent front bag wall for viewing therethrough and the other smaller ensemble products are positioned inside the bag, preferably in pockets attached to the inside of the rear wall, in juxtaposition to the rear transparent wall and in side-by-side position for being viewed from the outside through the transparent rear wall.

The house shaped carrying case and display assembly is moveable between a first and second position, wherein in the first position the house shaped housing is operable as a carrying case and in the second position is operable as a display assembly.

Abstract: A tray package that is configured to facilitate angular display of the front display side of the package when the package is displayed along a generally vertical structure or surface, such as a clip strip, pegboard or the like. The tray is formed to include a compartment that contains packaged product. A sealing sheet such as film, foil or other lid stock is sealed to the tray and covers product packaged in the compartment. The back side of the formed tray extends angularly from a top edge portion and away from the front display side of the tray, thereby providing clearance for a vertical display structure and facilitating angular display of the front display panel of the package. The angularly extending portion of the back side preferably extends at an angle between 40°-65° with the front display panel on the package. Angular display of the front display panel of the package helps to enhance readability of the front display side of the package by prospective consumers at point-of-sale.

Abstract: A method of packaging and displaying a relative flat product, and intermediate and final package produced, allow a desirably thick package to be produced yet the package can be shipped in a low volume configuration to save shipping costs, and can be expanded at or adjacent the display site in a simple yet effective manner. Each side panel includes a plurality of slots that correspond with slots in the other side panel. Each display pack is an approximately planar assembly formed from front and rear portions of transparent, vacuum-molded plastic. The front and rear portions are each configured with a flange, the flanges each forming conforming notches allowing the two portions to be adjoined and heat sealed or glued together. The display pack includes a product chamber configured to hold the product, and further contains a product display card.

The blades can be advantageously inserted in the housings by their toothed fore end.

The insert is designed to include five supports, three bottom supports and two top supports as part of the carton blank. The insert relies on the bottle for support. The insert stabilizes the cleansing agent bottle and the washing implement to minimize movement.

Abstract: An open face display carton and motorized implement arrangement is disclosed. The display arrangement includes an operator carriable motorized implement and an open face display carton. Ideally, the motorized implement is split into a tool portion and a motorized portion. The display carton has a main body and upper and lower inserts. The main body has a central portion and top and bottom portions which retain the upper and lower inserts therein. The main body includes a rear panel with a pair of outer panels which extend forwardly from the rear panel and a pair of inner panels which extend from the outer panels toward the rear panel defining an open region between the inner panels. The respective motorized and tool portions are preferably retained in generally upright positions by the carton with at least a portion of each of the motorized and tool portions being tactiley accessible within the open region of the carton.

Abstract: A display device formed of a sheet of flexible material which may be attached to a base and has a lower portion shaped into a lower tab and has a cut to form a support flap in an upper portion with at least one cut in the support flap sized to receive and retain edges of the lower tab when the lower portion is bent upwards to overlap the support flap. The lower portion of the strip is attached to the support flap by inserting the lower tab into either a slit in the support flap or interlocking with edges of a cut out in the flap. Upon bending of the strip, the space vacated by the support flap forms a window in which an article for display can be inserted. In another embodiment a complex shape is achieved by interengaging a multiple of tabs with cuts in a flexible strip to hold elongate articles with aligned apertures in the display.

Abstract: A display package for an article includes a front and a rear panel having respective peripheral portions secured to one another in an operative condition of the package. At least the front panel is provided with a recess constituting, together with a juxtaposed portion of the rear panel, a compartment for accommodating the article therein with substantially no movement therein in the operative condition of the package. A holding element is also substantially immovably received in the compartment and extends across a corresponding portion of the article remotely from the rear panel to confine the article between itself and the rear panel. The holding element is substantially rigid, and each of the front panel and the holding element is of a transparent material.

Abstract: A packaging assembly for both packaging and displaying a plurality of compact discs. The packaging assembly includes a support structure having tiered depressions formed into at least one row. Each depression in a row is sized to accept a compact disc and includes a retaining mechanism for selectively engaging a compact disc at each tier level. As a result, the support structure is capable of retaining multiple compact discs in each row, wherein each compact disc is retained at a different tier level. This enables the various compact discs to overlay over another without contacting one another. The tiered orientation also enables any one of the compact discs to be accessed without having to remove any other compact disc contained in the packaging assembly. The support structure itself is contained within a box, wherein the box has a forward surface that defines a large window.

Abstract: A foldable jewelry card, capable of securing thereto an article or articles of jewelry, includes a front panel with a forwardly facing surface and a rearwardly facing surface. An intermediate panel is hingedly connected to the front panel, and interconnects the front panel with a rear panel hingedly connected thereto. The rear panel has a forwardly facing surface, a rearwardly facing surface, and a hook portion for supporting the card on a hanger. The rear panel and the front panel are attached to one another in such a manner that the front panel is securely interlocked with the rear panel. The intermediate panel causes the front and rear panels to be at an acute angle with each other whereby the forwardly facing surface of the rear panel substantially faces the rearwardly facing surface of the front panel.

Abstract: A display device formed of a sheet of flexible material which may be attached by the top portion thereof to a base. A cut in the middle portion of the strip forms a support flap to which the lower portion of the strip is attached. To attach the lower portion to the support flap, the lower portion is bent underneath and upwards to the support flap. Upon bending the strip, the cut forms a window in which to insert an article for display. The lower portion of the strip is attached to the support flap by sliding a slit in one over a retaining tab formed in the other.
