  • Patent number: 8960612
Abstract: A cable rack arm and support system suitable for underground power and communication service is made from a non-metallic polymer that will not rust or corrode. The cable rack arm is adapted for mounting to existing underground stanchions or for stanchions of a more modern design. Each cable rack arm is securely mounted to the stanchion. Each cable rack arm then supports one or more cables in cable rests or saddles molded atop the arm, thus keeping the cables accessibly organized in a manhole, tunnel or vault. Plastic cable ties may be used to secure the cables to the cable rack arms. Nonmetallic pins may also be used to secure the cable rack arms to the stanchions. The stanchions may be made of nonmetallic composite material that includes a fiberglass cross-layered knitted apertured mat for increased strength.

  • Patent number: 8915381
Abstract: A vertical roll wrap tray kit of the present invention includes at least one product tray, a plurality of spacer clips, a plurality of wire dividers and a plurality of push clips. The product tray can be attached to various types of retail display units. The product tray contains two slot walls which are sized to accommodate insertion of the wire dividers. The dividers are used to divide the tray into segments or compartments in which the roll wrap material is stored and displayed in a vertical arrangement. The width of the rows or compartments can be varied based on the diameter of the roll wrap product. Spacer clips are used to hold two adjacent dividers into place. The tray is angled slightly in a backwards direction to avoid accidental removal of the vertical roll wrap.

Abstract: A transportation and storage system for a wind turbine rotor blade comprises a tip end frame assembly comprising a tip end receptacle and a tip end frame. The tip end receptacle comprises an upwardly open tip end-receiving space for receiving a portion of the tip end of the blade and having a supporting surface for supporting the blade, a lower surface allowing the tip end receptacle to rest upright on a substantially horizontal surface, such as the ground, and releasable retaining means for releasably retaining the tip end of the blade in the receiving space of the tip end receptacle. The tip end frame comprises an upwardly open receptacle-receiving space for receiving the receptacle and provided with positioning means for positioning the receptacle in the tip end frame. A base part defines a bottom surface allowing the tip end frame to rest upright on the ground.

  • Patent number: 8887908
Abstract: One embodiment of a golf bag base that securely seats the multi-sized grip ends of golf clubs within a golf bag for storage. The base is located at the bottom interior of a golf bag and has upon it a plurality of shaped partitions. Each partition is wider at its bottom end and extends upwardly and inwardly at an angle to terminate at a narrower apex end. The partitions define volumes of space between each set of adjacent partitions that are sized for both narrow and wide diameter golf club grip ends. The surfaces of the partitions frictionally secure and release the grip ends of the golf clubs with a simple twist by the user. The apex end of each partition has a rigidly flexible deflecting tip that helps to guide a golf club grip end to an adjacent available empty space within the storage base.

  • Patent number: 8876068
Abstract: Conduit spacers useful in preparing duct banks with reduced electromagnetic fields (EMF) are disclosed. The conduit spacers are designed to maximize phase cancellation of EMF from a closely-spaced series of electric power cables placed in conduits supported underground by the conduit spacers. The spacers are also designed to minimize the EMF above ground by reducing the distance needed to bury the cables for a given EMF above ground. In one embodiment, the spacers place conduits adjacent one another for maximum cancellation of a single three-phase cable installation. In another embodiment, the spacers place conduits adjacent one another for maximum cancellation for a dual three-phase cable installation, including cross-phase cancellation, e.g., A-B-C and C-B-A.

  • Patent number: 8820546
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a dental mount for receiving and retaining a plurality of different dental ceramic blocks used in dental restoration treatments, wherein the dental mount comprises a substantially flat front face having a plurality of dental ceramic block receiving holes located thereon; each of the dental ceramic block receiving holes being dimensioned to form a retaining fit with any one of the different dental ceramic blocks. The advantage of providing a dental mount with dedicated holes for retaining any one of the dental ceramic blocks is that the dental mount can be used to comparatively present all the different types of dental ceramic blocks next to one another in an organized and graded manner so that a dentist may make quick and accurate comparisons between the different types of dental ceramic blocks. Furthermore, the dentist can quickly assess their stock levels by glancing at the dental mount.

  • Patent number: 8807612
Abstract: A transport device for securing elongated items during transport and storage has the new feature that the set of profiled beams includes at least three profiled beams, namely a first, a second and a third profiled beam, the profiled beams being built upon each other layer by layer and connected to each other in respective layers. Each layer of pipes or items is surrounded by two profiled beams which are fixed to each other by a joining arrangement. Thus, each layer is individually fixed, and only the uppermost layer in a packet of longitudinal items is loose during packing and unpacking. Advantageously, the profiled beams are removed one by one from the top of a packet with the longitudinal items, and the weight of the single parts handled never becomes greater than the weight of one profiled beam with joining arrangement.
