The top part has a lid integrally moulded with thermoplastic resin. The lid divides the top part and includes weakening lines, a first lid part, a second lid part, and a gripper. A first hinge is formed between the first lid part and the second lid part, the weakening lines are cut when the gripper is pulled up, and the-first lid part rotates on the-first hinge such that the weakening lines open narrowly. A second hinge is formed in an edge of the second lid part, the weakening lines are cut by further pulling the gripper, and the second lid part rotates on the second hinge such that the weakening lines open more widely.

Elastic surfaces can instead or in addition be provided at the vent orifice surface or one or both opposing surfaces of the dispensing area.

The cap is pivotally attached to the base to permit movement of the cap relative to the base between an open position and a closed position. The exposed front surface and front inside surface together have a bottom end and a top end. The inside front surface contains a spout cap, such that when the cap is closed the spout cap mates with the spout to form a liquid tight seal, and such that when the cap is opened the liquid tight seal between the spout and the spout cap is opened.

The connector can be adapted such that, in use, when the cap is disposed at the position apart from the opening, and in the absence of external forces, the connector holds the cap at the position apart from the opening. The sift deck contains a deck surface surrounded by a first snap bead and a first sealing surface, and pouring holes formed on the deck surface. The lid contains a second snap bead and a second sealing surface that are formed on the underside of the lid and engage with the first snap bead and first sealing surface, respectively, to form a seal around the sift deck when the lid is in a closed position.

Upon coverage of the candle and flame the candle is extinguished, in a safe, secure, protective manner. Upon reaching a final predetermined time of the preset time selected by the user for the candle to burn an alarm sounds notifying the user the apparatus is closing.

Abstract: The present invention is a bottle cap assembly comprising an anchor for attachment to a bottle and a cap portion removably attached to the anchor. The anchor has a first connector, and the cap portion has a second connector. The second connector removably engages the first connector, when the cap portion detaches from the anchor, and extends around the circumference of the cap portion, so that the cap portion can be attached to the first connector in any orientation. The first connector can also be mounted on a tab extending down from the anchor. The first and second connectors can be male and female connectors, respectively. Alternatively, the first and second connectors can be compatible magnets. A retaining member can also be used to permanently attach the cap portion and anchor member to reduce the risk of loss when the first and second connectors are being engaged.

The cap portion has a retaining sleeve along an entire circumference of the cap portion. The retaining device keeps the cap portion connected to the anchor, so that the cap portion is not lost. The retaining device includes a rod element housed in the retaining sleeve, and the rim of the retaining sleeve prevents detachment of the rod element from the retaining sleeve. The rod element extends between the anchor and cap portion, while only the anchor remains attached to the bottle.

The third axis is substantially perpendicular to the first and second axes when the cap is closed. The cap is pivoted from the closed position to the open position by squeezing along the third axis. During a first stage of the squeezing, the at least one breakable bridge is broken, and during a second stage of the squeezing after the first stage, the fastener tab disengages from the cap opening.

Hinge-connections are provided between the cap main body and the discharge cylinder body, and between the discharge cylinder body and the lid body, for allowing a selective opening of the main discharge cylinder and the auxiliary discharge cylinder, thereby readily changing the discharge amount or discharge mode of the content liquid.

In order to convert the container assemblies (30, 110) to an adult configuration, the lid (38, 118) is opened and rotated 180° while the lid (38, 118) remains connected to the skirt (36, 116). This reverses the lid face adjacent the open top of the container (32, 112). Closure of the reversed lid (38, 118) occurs without any latching function between the skirt (36, 116) and the lid (38, 118), so that the lid (38, 118) can be readily opened.
