  • Patent number: 8496129
Abstract: Provided are a cap capable of being easily and reliably opened and unsealed not limited in design even if an inner cap with a small diameter is used for the cap, producing no refuse after the unsealing, and not unnecessarily large in size, and a container with the cap. When an over cap (3) is rotated in the opening direction, a pair of screw threads (10a, 10b) as opening means are advanced in the direction in which they are tightened together, and this cuts off a planned opening section (4) from the inner cap (2). Thus, the cap has a relatively simple structure and can be simply and reliably unsealed by small force. Also, the planned opening section (4) is integrated with the over cap (3) after unsealing the inner cap (2), so that no refuse is produced after the unsealing, eliminating the need to clear it away from a table.

Abstract: An integral seal opening means within a sport closure cap for containers, in which a tamper evident seal with a reinforced rim secures the mouth opening. The closure cap holds a minimum of three protrusions, extending towards the seal, each having cutting edges of which the lower one is at a smaller radius. These protrusions engage with the tamper evident seal, when the cap is rotated clockwise, thereby cutting off part of of the seal rim and at the same time cutting three banana shape slots in the seal. For single serve beverage bottles with tamper evident seal and a sport closure, there is no need to unscrew the cap for opening the seal and getting access to the beverage. Initially the reinforced rim is used to prevent protrusions from accidently opening the bottle seal. The opened seal remains in place while the sport closure is held onto the bottle.

Abstract: The bottle cap of the present invention consists of a first cap and a second cap fitted into the depressed portion of the first cap. The first cap includes a circumference portion formed so as to embrace the outer circumference of the neck of the bottle and a top edge portion formed on the top edge of said circumference portion so as to close the neck of the bottle. The top edge portion includes a depressed portion depressed downward so as to form a sidewall that comes into airtight contact with the inner circumference of the neck of the bottle. The second cap includes an insert portion inserted into the depressed portion and an elongated portion elongated outwardly from a top of the insert portion. Such a bottle cap provides an effect that sealability between the inside and outside of the neck of the bottle and the bottle cap can be improved.
