Abstract: The apparatus of this invention relates to a device for heating or cooking food or liquids such as soup, water, roast, etc. A downwardly curved visor-like deflector is selectively removably positioned outwardly of the upper end of the radiation disk of an infrared heater so as to extend outwardly therefrom. The deflector has an upwardly presented cooking utensil opening formed therein and a horizontally disposed cooking utensil support secured to the deflector at the inner surface thereof below the cooking utensil opening. The cooking utensil support dwells in a plane below the upper end of the radiation disk whereby infrared rays emitted from the radiation disk will impinge upon the cooking utensil support and a cooking utensil positioned on the cooking utensil support to cook or heat the contents thereof. Other accessories may also be attached to the heater such as a protective grill or a cooking basket.

Abstract: A cooking device includes a base and a cooking container assembled to the base. The base includes a fixing base and at least a first height adjustable heating component. The first heating component is disposed with a first heating source and is movably assembled to the fixing base. The first heating component is movably assembled to the fixing base, thus making the position of the first heating resource adjustable. The position of the first heating source is adjusted according to the position of the bottom surface of the cooking container, so that the first heating source is close to the bottom surface of the cooking container, thus heating the cooking container equally and with deformation resistance.

Abstract: A heater strip for use as a heating element in an electric heater is made up of a profiled strip made of a flat metallic material forming a resistor section and of mounting elements extending over one common longitudinal side and they are manufactured as one piece with the resistor section for mounting the heater strip to a support. The strip has a zigzag-shaped structure. The mounting elements are provided only on the flat leg sections of the zigzag-shaped heater strip.

Abstract: An electric cooker includes an upper burner and a lower burner which are adjustably coupled to a control platform. The lower burner is coupled to a pair of wheels (at least one of which is provided with a ratchet stop) which are rotatable about a horizontal axis such that the lower burner can be angled up from horizontal to 45° or more. The upper burner is coupled to the wheels by a pair of floating hinges so that the space between the upper and lower burners is automatically adjustable. The floating hinges are provided with notches and the control platform has a pair of movable bosses which engage the notches to keep the upper burner spaced a fixed distance above the lower burner. The floating hinges also allow for a full 180° rotation so that the upper and lower burners can be arranged as side by side burners. The control platform has separate digital temperature controls for the two burners and is also equipped with a digital timer which automatically turns the cooker off.

Abstract: A gauge assembly holds heater wire adjacent to a surface to be heated. The assembly includes a plurality of elongate elements, with each elongate element having two opposite ends. Each opposite end is pivotably connected to a corresponding opposite end of an adjacent elongate element. At least one of the elongate elements retains at least one corresponding portion of the heater wire.
