Since the magnetic heating can be localized, the heating and warpage of the substrate can be minimized during the bonding process.

    Abstract: A method is provided for the pyrolysis or thermolysis of a fluid or fluidized starting material in a tube bundle reactor including a plurality of heatable reactor tubes. The method includes feeding the starting material to the tube bundle reactor at one end by at least one supply line; wherein the supply line has several pressure reduction units which enable a positive pressure before the starting material is introduced into individual reactor tubes of the tube bundle reactor and a negative pressure inside the reactor tubes. The pressure reduction units control a substantially equal inflow of the starting material into individual reactor tubes and the reactor tubes are heated to a decomposition temperature of the starting material in at least one primary section. The starting material is pyrolyzed or thermolyzed and a pyrolysis or thermolysis product is obtained.

    Abstract: A gas turbine nozzle can be refurbished to reduce downstream deflection. The outer shroud of the gas turbine nozzle is held in a fixture, and then the nozzle is heated. The heated nozzle is then reshaped by a force exerted upon the inner shroud of the gas turbine, reducing the downstream deflection of the nozzle. After the deformation of the nozzle, an aft hook of the nozzle that has been adjusted by previous refurbishment efforts can be rebuilt to remove the previous adjustments.

    Abstract: A hair styler and its heating device which can heat the thermal storage piece inside the hair roller quickly to a desired temperature by electromagnetic heating. The thermal storage piece is made of high thermal conductivity material which absorbs heat quite quick and disposed inside the hair roller to prevent the hair from directly contacting the thermal storage piece during hair styling, consequently preventing the hair from being burned. Then a low thermal conductivity isolating layer retains the heat within the hair roller and enables the heat to be uniformly and constantly transmitted to the outer surface of the hair roller, providing an effect of low energy consumption and long-lasting heat. A temperature sensing piece is used to detect and indicate the temperature of the hair styler by using different colors, making it easier for the user to know the temperature of the hair styler.
