Abstract: A dome-shaped lid reversibly securably sealed to the rim of a container with two opposing drinking ports die-cut in the top wall of a brim mount. A reclosable fold-back hatch cover recessed within the brim mount rotates about a U-shaped hinge between a closed and opened position quickly and reliably. When the hatch cover is rotated to its opened position it creates a hatch opening of sufficient size to access the beverage for the following purposes, including, but not limited to, dunking a confection, letting steam escape to cool a hot beverage, adding condiments, stirring the beverage, or adding and removing toppings such as whipped cream on the surface of the beverage, performed with the lid remaining fixed to the container rim.

A seal ring is received in an annular groove in a top face of the inner box body. The upper cover is pivotable relative to the inner box body between an open position and a closed position. The upper cover includes an annular rib extending from a bottom face of the upper cover. The annular rib is received in the annular groove of the inner box body. The bottom face of the upper cover and an inner peripheral face of the annular rib sealingly contact the seal ring, providing an airtight cosmetic powder box.

Abstract: A closure is provided having a closure body dimensionally formed for closing an opening within a container. A closing flap is pivotally positioned on the closure body and is moveable between an opened position, wherein the flap is pivoted upward, and a closed position, wherein the flap is pivoted to overlap a recess in a top surface of the body. A frangible area is provided in the recess. A flexible dome is formed on the closing flap. A contact member projects from the flap, opposite the dome. The contact member is positioned adjacent the frangible area when the closing flap is in the closed position. A downward actuation force to the dome causes a flexing of the dome toward the frangible area and at least a partial tearing of the frangible area.

Abstract: A fillable closure is used to initiate emptying of a separately fillable capsule molded into this closure. The capsule is made oxygen-impermeable on the inside or outside with a vapor-deposited layer of silicon dioxide or metal. The volume of the capsule can be reduced through pressurization from the top, through deformation of its side walls, for cutting or rupturing a sealing foil. The capsule has an asymmetric push button with a pusher surface, a deformable front and side wall and a stable rear wall. The upper end of the rear wall forms a stationary edge, on which the pusher surface can be pivoted downward through deformation of the front and side wall. On the bottom of the pusher surface, a triangle-shaped blade is formed, which ends in a tip, and its triangle edge forming a cutting edge for piercing and cutting the sealing foil on the bottom of the capsule.

A second hinge is formed in an edge of the second lid part, the weakening lines are cut by further pulling the gripper, and the second lid part rotates on the second hinge such that the weakening lines open more widely.

Abstract: A child-resistant lift-top container is disclosed. The container includes a vessel, a lift-off inner cap and an outer locking cap. The outer locking cap engages the lift-off inner cap and is rotatable about the inner cap. The vessel includes a generally downwardly-facing abutment that engages an upwardly-facing abutment on the locking cap to lock the container and prevent the lift-off inner cap from opening. The container is opened by rotating the outer locking cap to disengage the abutments, permitting the lift-off inner cap to be lifted to open the container. The outer locking cap includes at least one spring that engages a spring-engaging surface on the vessel as the outer locking cap is rotated to assist in disengaging the abutments and to allow the outer locking cap to return to its closed and locked position.

When the knob is rotated, the spiral grooves moved upward along with the spiral rib and the passage is separated from the seal member to open the mouthpiece unit.

A pivoting lid closes/opens access to the opening. An actuation mechanism has a user-actuated interface. A linkage connected to the interface opens/closes the lid. A pair of jaws is connected to the linkage. The jaws move between a clamped position, in which the jaws close off a portion of the bag, and an opened position, in which the jaws are separated to allow waste to reach the closed end. The jaws and the lid are actuated concurrently by a single degree of actuation on the interface, allowing the lid to open and close while the jaws move from the clamped to the opened position, and back to the clamped position. A method for disposal of a waste object is also provided.

Abstract: A stopper member (C) for mounting on an opening (31) of a fluid reservoir (P), said member being characterized in that it comprises: a base body (1) forming a fluid dispenser orifice (17); an assembly part (20) for mounting in stationary manner on the base body (1); and a closure lid (25) for closing the dispenser orifice (17), the lid (25) being connected to the assembly part via a hinge (26), characterized in that the lid (25) and the part (20) are made as a single piece, the lid (25) initially being connected to the assembly part (20), before the lid is opened for the first time, via at least one bridge (28) of material able to be broken at the first opening.
