Abstract: A shipping crate for shipping objects such as all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and personal water-crafts (PWCs). The shipping crate is completely recyclable and includes a top frame structure and a bottom frame structure. The top and bottom frame structures are operable to telescopically engage each another when the crate is empty. Also, leg portions can be placed between the top and bottom frame structures and the leg portions can telescopically engage the top and bottom frame structures at opposite ends thereof.

Abstract: A folding container has a base, side support tubes upstanding from the corners of the base, and side panels located between the side support tubes and arranged to bound a storage space. Pivots are arranged to pivotally mount the side panels onto the side support tubes. The pivot for each side panel is disposed in a different horizontal plane to that of any other panel, such that when the container is in a folded state the side panels lie stacked substantially parallel to the base, and when in an unfolded state the side panels are substantially orthogonal to the base.

Abstract: A collapsible box with a pair of opposed, hinged sidewalls in which a lightweight frame structure holds the sidewall in a vertical orientation during assembly and provides load-bearing strength. The frame structure and sidewalls fold over one another, and lie substantially flat, when said box is collapsed.

Abstract: A cabinet comprising an access panel having a first end and a first tongue formed proximate the first access panel end, and a top panel having a first end with a first slot formed therein; wherein the first tongue is configured to cooperate with the first slot to fasten the top panel to the access panel. In one embodiment, the cabinet may be a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system cabinet. A method of manufacturing the cabinet is also provided.

Abstract: A knock-down crate having a base associated with four sides. In a first embodiment, the base and the sides are hingedly interconnected. In alternative embodiments, the sides are detachably engageable with the base for deployment parallel to the length and breadth of the base. The upper surface of the base has an elongated recess extending most of the length and sized for receiving at least some of the sides. The sides can be deployed such that the base and four sides form a four-sided crate with the recess of the base contributing to the available volume of the crate. When not in use, at least some of the sides are received within the recess in the base for compact transportation.

Abstract: A mounting assembly includes a chassis, a cover slidably mounted to the chassis in a first direction, and a clamping member securely mounted on the cover. The chassis comprises a rear wall having a locking portion thereon. The clamping member has a positioning portion thereon for engaging with the locking portion, and a pressing portion for urging the positioning portion to disengage from the locking portion. When the pressing portion of the clamping member is pressed in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, the positioning portion is resiliently bent in the second direction, thereby disengaging the positioning portion from the locking portion of the chassis.

Abstract: A container device includes a skeleton having four vertical posts and four lower and four upper beams to be secured between end portions of the posts. Each of the posts includes a slot formed in one side and a groove in the other side of each of the end portions. A number of corner couplers each includes three extensions perpendicular to each other, for engaging into open ends of the beams and the posts. A number of insert panels are engaged into the end portions of the posts via the grooves of the posts and each includes a screw hole. A number of fasteners are engaged into the corner couplers, and threaded with the screw holes of the insert panels to secure the corner couplers and the beams and the posts together, and to form a parallelepiped container.

Abstract: An emergency information storage assembly includes a housing that has a back wall, a front wall and a peripheral wall extending between and is attached to the front and back walls. The peripheral wall has a peripheral break therein so that a first portion of the housing selectively separable from a second portion of the housing. A panel has a size and shape configured to be selectively positioned in the housing. A wall surface has a doorway extending therethrough. The housing is positioned adjacent to the doorway and a plurality of fasteners is extended through the back wall and into the wall surface so that the back wall is attached to the wall surface. Personal emergency information is placed on the panel and the panel is position in the housing so that emergency personnel may retrieve it.

Abstract: A collapsible display container includes abase and a pair of opposed side walls each pivotably attached to the base. The side walls are orientable between an assembled position and a second position. At least one of the side walls includes a display member which is mounted to it. The display member is movable between an open position and a closed position. Thus, when the display member is in the open position and the at least one side wall is in the assembled position, the interior of the container is accessible through the at least one side wall.

Abstract: A partially collapsible and partially expandable dunnage system is provided for use in a horizontal dispensing container. The dunnage comprises a plurality of cells for storing and transporting parts. The dunnage system includes at least two constant force springs secured to the dunnage. The dunnage system provides horizontal access to product inside the container in an ergonomically friendly zone so a worker need not bend over to remove or insert product from the cells.

Abstract: A foldable container includes a base panel and a pair of folding panels coupled with the base panel via a folding device, wherein the folding device includes a first load-carrying arrangement positioned on the base panel and a second load-carrying arrangement provided at the folding panels. The first load-carrying arrangement and the second load-carrying arrangement are pivotally connected to ensure the folding panels being folded with respect to the base panel so as to reduce the volumetric space of the container. Since the second load-carrying arrangement is adapted for withstanding substantial force, the foldable container is adapted to be moved by conventional hangers and stacked in a convenient manner.

Abstract: An adjustable height wafer box for the transportation of coin-stacked semiconductor wafers is disclosed. The adjustable height wafer box comprises a base plate, a cover plate, a plurality of ring insert plates and elastomer bumpers. The ring insert plates are stacked so as to successively engage one another, as well as engaging the base plate and the cover plate. The elastomer bumpers are engaged between successive ring insert plates and extend inwardly into the wafer containment space. The number of ring insert plates can be chosen to adjust the height of the wafer box in accordance with the number of coin-stacked semiconductor wafers to be shipped.

Abstract: A rigid modular container includes a floor and an opposite lid, and between the floor and lid opposite rigid rectilinearly-shaped first and second panels, and oppositely disposed rigid rectilinearly-shaped third and fourth panels extending from and between the first and second panels. The panels are removably mounted to the floor. The side edges of adjacent panels are removably mounted to each other as by bolting so that the side edges of the third and fourth panels abut the side edges of the first and second panels. Fastener bracing means such as bolt bracing are mounted to the side edges of the panels and are aligned between adjacent the panels so that fastener receiving apertures therethrough provide for rigid bracing of rigid fasteners such as bolts mounted through and between the fastener bracing means on the adjacent panels. Rigid fasteners such as bolts may thus be mounted through the fastener bracing means on the adjacent the panels.

Abstract: A foldable transportation container comprises a container body formed into a box having a rectangular bottom, and a pair of first side walls and a pair of second side walls provided along the periphery of the bottom wall, rotating means provided on the lower ends of the side walls so that the side walls can be folded inward of the container body, an engagement member provided on the outside face of the first side wall. Engagement portions are provided on both ends of each second side wall. The first side walls are folded onto the upper face of the bottom wall and then the second side walls are folded onto the first side walls. An operation portion is provided at the substantial center of each engagement member. Engagement projections are provided at the ends of each engagement member. The engagement portions are engaged with the engagement projections to limit inward rotation of the first side walls.

The front panel includes track followers releasably received in the front guide tracks. From this angled orientation, and while the cover remains closed, the track followers are slidable along and out of engagement with the respective front guide tracks to detach the front panel from the side panel, thereby providing front access to the container compartment.

The at least one wall contains a plurality of holes configured for allowing plant stems to extend therethrough in a generally horizontal orientation. At least one drain hole is formed in the bottom or the at least one wall for draining water from the cavity. Plant growth medium is placed in the cavity, and plants are planted in the plant growth medium such that the stems extend through the holes in the wall.

Abstract: A collapsible plastic container includes a top perimeter, a bottom and a plurality of sidewalls formed in a generally rectangular configuration. At least one of the sidewalls is pivotable between a collapsed position and an opened position. An engaging portion of the pivotable sidewall includes a first opening therein, which is disposed adjacent a receiving portion of either the top perimeter and the bottom including a second opening therein in the opened position. The first and second openings are relatively positioned such that they are aligned when the pivotable sidewall is in its opened position. A locking lug is positioned such that it is extendible into the aligned openings of an adjacent container when the container and the adjacent container are in a stacked arrangement. A lid may also be provided including a second locking lug. The structure ensures that the sidewalls are securely held in their vertical position to thereby ensure that the container will bear its maximum load.

Abstract: A composting box includes a main unit and one or two detachable side panels. In a preferred embodiment, the main unit includes two spaced apart main walls attached at diagonally opposite corners with connecting and spacing members. Each of the detachable side panels is adapted to attach to a side of the main unit. After detaching the side panels, the main unit can be separated from a compost pile. The compost pile is then easily re-transferred back into the main unit, and the side panel(s) reattached. This method provides an inexpensive, labor-saving way to maintain and periodically aerate compost piles.

Each file support assembly is adapted to suspend a file container thereon to provide detachable storage. The detachable file containers each include a box having an upper frame which suspends the container from the file support assemblies. A top may provided to close each container in a secure manner to protect the container's contents.

Abstract: The present invention is a system and method of fabricating showcases in a variety of shapes, sizes, and designs, while allowing both novices, with an interest and skill in arts and crafts (or framing), and professional framers to enjoy the easy-to-construct features of the present invention. The showcase system includes, but is not limited to (1) novel molding pieces that are used in conjuction with (2) standard picture frame pieces, which are themselves used in novel manner, (3) standard glass, mirrored glass, ceramic or other similar materials that can be suitably used to make the showcase walls, (4) standard adhesives, sealants, and/or glass retaining strips, (5) standard matting and/or foam core materials, and/or (6) the use of standard tools, including, but not limited to, a razor knife, stapler, and/or a diamond point attachment tool. A second embodiment of the showcase having a hexagonal shape, is also described.

In an alternative embodiment, the tabs and grooves of the panels constituting the side walls of the ballot box can be replaced with channeled formations on two opposing walls, susceptible to receiving and housing other flap-like formations carried out on the other two alternate side walls.

The walls and bottom are each formed with structural portions that form a frame and any necessary cross bracing. A fabric covers any opening between structural portions. The fabric is placed in a mold that defines a cavity shaped like the structural portions, and thereafter a thermoplastic resin in injected. The resin intimately penetrates the fabric fibers to hold the fabric in place. The fabric may have holes formed in it to enhance the penetration of the resin. A wide variety of fabric and resins may be used.

Abstract: An environmentally sealable plastic shipping container is provided that includes a main container cover and body portion fabricated of a set of plastic extrusions and end caps, connected by tenon-type joints facilitating construction using commercially available adhesives and optional aluminum extrusions with commercially available mechanical fasteners where desirable for rapid opening or closing.
