Abstract: According to aspects of the present disclosure, an expandable field kitchen is disclosed. The expandable field kitchen includes an expandable intermodal container. The expandable intermodal container has a floor panel, a ceiling panel, a wall panel including an opening, an access door disposed on the wall panel, an appliance utility port disposed on an interior surface of the expandable intermodal container, and a service door having a low-profile door handle. The addition, the expandable intermodal container includes an expansion unit that deploys from the interior portion of the expandable intermodal container through the opening.

Abstract: A vehicle roof stiffener includes a metal or metal alloy frame defining a central opening and at least one corner. The vehicle roof stiffener also includes a fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) portion including at least one transition structure comprising a metal or a metal alloy. At least some of the fibers of the FRP portion are embedded in the transition structure. The FRP portion is located in the at least one corner. In some examples, the frame includes an opening in the at least one corner, and the FRP portion spans the opening. In other examples, the FRP portion overlaps the frame at the at least one corner. The FRP portion located at the corner may improve rigidity of the roof stiffener to increase resistance to a racking motion and increase the overall stiffness of the vehicle.

Abstract: Disclosed is a transportable cake carrier that protects tall, multilayer pastry products from the perils of unexpected turns, uneven pavement, pot-holes and sudden stops of the vehicles doing the delivery. In addition to vehicle borne perils the new and unique carrier addresses ease of placement and removal of the pastry from the carrier, keeping the pastry refrigerated and placement and removal of the carrier from the vehicle. A unique combination of tying the top, base, pedestal and layer separators firmly together, with a sturdy, easy to clean and reusable housing and outstanding human engineering make transport damage a thing of the past. In addition this unique carrier fulfills the spirit of federal LEEDs sustainability requirements with completely reusable components and by keeping ruined product out of the landfills.

Abstract: A cargo rack for transferring loads between a marine vessel and an offshore marine platform provides a frame having a front, a rear, and upper and lower end portions. The lower end of the frame has a perimeter beam base, a raised floor and a pair of open-ended parallel fork tine tubes or sockets that communicate with the perimeter beam at the front and rear of the frame. The frame includes a plurality of fixed side walls extending upwardly from the perimeter beam. A plurality of gates are movably mounted on the frame, movable between open and closed positions, the gates enabling a forklift to place loads on the floor. The frame has vertically extending positioning beams or lugs that segment the raised floor into a plurality of load-holding positions. Each load holding position has a plurality of positioning beams or lugs that laterally hold a load module.

Abstract: A combination rack structure includes a predetermined number of support plates, connecting strips and side frames. Each of the support plates has a rectangular shape. Each of the connecting strips is provided with three holding grooves each longitudinally extended through each of the connecting strips. Each of the connecting strips has a periphery provided with elongate recessed portions each located between any two of the holding grooves. Each of the recessed portions is provided with a plurality of extensions which are perpendicular to an axial direction of each of the recessed portions and are spaced from each other with a proper interval. The extensions are used for holding and resting. Each of the side frames is bent to have a hexagonal shape. The support plates are combined with the connecting strips to construct a hexagonal rack.

Abstract: A novel cup is disclosed that may be collapsed and extended to hold cold or hot liquids safely. The cup preferably comprises a telescoping body comprising a plurality of rings of varying outer diameters, each ring having an outer wall and an inner wall forming an air gap therebetween, a leak-proof mechanism comprising an O-ring disposed about one or more rings, and a locking mechanism comprising an annular track disposed about one ring, and a pin disposed about another ring adapted to fit within the track and slideably engage it. The locking mechanism may further comprise a first magnet seated within the air gap of a first ring, and a second magnet seated within the air gap of a second ring, whereby the first and second magnets create a magnetic pull toward one another to help keep the cup in either a collapsed or extended position.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a novel apparatus and way for folding a shipping container in order to improve safety and security of the shipping container. A foldable shipping container is provided having improved locking mechanisms positioned on the inside and outside of the shipping container.

Limiting projections are formed on the outer side of the base plate in a preset concrete shape, and located on a position between but spaced from the vertical and horizontal walls of the recessed joining part, so that the turning part of the frame bar can be pushed and fitted into the recessed joining part from the direction of the outer side of the base plate, and the limiting projection can correspondingly limit the inner edge of the turning part.

Abstract: A joint for use in making a shipping crate includes a base and a pair of orthogonal channels which extend upwardly from the base and are open from above. Each channel has an inner closed end and an outer open end, and has a width, along a length of the channel between the inner and outer ends, which is greater than the width at the inner and outer ends. The channel is preferably defined by an outer wall, an inner wall, and a pair of reinforcement members located at the inner and outer ends to define the region of smaller width at each end. The reinforcement members are preferably hollow vertical members which are rectangle or square in cross-section and which extend from the inner wall towards the outer wall. Preferably, at their inner ends, the channels share a reinforcement member.

Innovative panel connections between side panels and a unique door latching system improve the weakest links of the container. The plurality of panels includes a top panel, a bottom panel, a plurality of side panels and a flexible door. The side panels and the flexible door are formed of at least one explosion resistant sheet of a flexible, high tensile strength material. Edges of the sheets are wrapped around and secured to a rod. An edge capturing rail is wrapped around the sheets over each rod. The latching mechanism involves retaining a locking rail extending from the door panel in a groove of a doorpost or door sill with a detent bar.

Abstract: A portable triple container is provided, which enables food and beverages to be separately accommodated therein, thereby enabling convenient carrying and storage during an outdoor activity. The present invention implements a novel triple container in which two separate spaces are formed so as to enable the food and beverages to be separately accommodated in the container, and which also enables the food to be extracted and consumed through a simple operation. Thus, the food and beverages may be simply and conveniently carried and stored, and may be extracted without using an additional utensil so as to be conveniently consumed. The portable triple container is configured such that an operation cap part arranged at the bottom of the container may be selectively fixed so as to not only restrict the rotation structure of an inner case according to need but also to ensure that the container is airtight.

Each of the containers provides bosses or projections over a collinear pair of which is placed a separate plate. The plate provides matched polygonal apertures to receive the projections. Each of the projections provides an aperture there through to receive a retainer pin or bolt. The pin or bolt abuts the plate when engaged. The arrangement greatly expedites the separation of the containers when desired. The user needs only tap out the retainer pin and pull off the plate. This obviates the use of fasteners which can freeze, rust or become otherwise inoperative or cumbersome.

Abstract: A storage module adapter assembly includes adapter base plates that are two-person portable, can be installed/removed by hand, and cooperate with existing structures of existing modular cargo containers. Each adapter base plate includes various longitudinal and transverse frame members, as well as first and second longitudinal frame members on opposed sides thereof. The first longitudinal frame member has a first height, and the second longitudinal frame member has a second height, which is greater than the first height. Each of the first and second longitudinal frame members also include generally horizontal flange members extending from a top side thereof, such that when two adapter base plates are appropriately positioned side by side, the generally horizontal flange members on the adjacent sides of the two adapter base plates overlap due to the difference between the first and second heights. The adapter base plates can then be connected together by appropriate mechanisms.

Abstract: A corner bead for receiving walls of a body shell, having an outer outgrowth, is provided with a rim for hooking a tensile element thereon, and possibly a projection is provided with a transverse retaining area suitable for being inserted into a groove parallel to one edge of a wall of the body shell. Such a corner bead and a tensile element make it possible, at the same time, to assemble a body shell and ensure the transport and storage thereof when same is taken apart.

Abstract: A seal member internally seals a depressurized chamber constructed by joining a plurality of plates. The seal member includes a linear portion for sealing a linear joint of the depressurized chamber and a loop portion for sealing around a corner of the depressurized chamber by being pressed against internal walls of the plates forming the corner. The loop portion is arranged to enclose the corner of the depressurized chamber. The loop portion is fixed by using a support block held at the corner and a corner pressing member joined to the plates forming the corner. The loop portion is secured between a support surface of the support block and the corner pressing member.

Abstract: A collapsible crate for transporting goods, the crate having an upstanding wall, at least a portion of which is movable, locating feature and releasable locking feature for releasably securing the movable wall portion relative to the crate, wherein the locating feature has a projection receivable within a recess or aperture to align, in use, the movable wall portion relative to the crate such that the movable wall portion is releasably securable by the locking feature.

Abstract: A fluid containment system comprises a plurality of curved panels having a front face a rear face, a top end, a bottom end and two side ends, wherein the plurality of curved panels are positioned serially adjacent one another in a generally upright or vertical manner so as to comprise a generally circular arrangement, with each of the plurality of curved panels further comprising at least one fastening member on its front face and wherein the fastening member is suitable to generally abut to a similar fastening member of an adjacent curved panel. Once fastened, the plurality of curved panels may be lined with a liner and used for fluid storage. In another aspect a fluid handling and containment apparatus comprises a tank suitable to hold a volume of fluid, the tank having a main compartment with a plurality of outlets exiting from the main compartment.

Abstract: A storage assembly is provided that includes plural bins having registering vertical dovetail slots. Connecting rods having reverse expanding dovetail formations are used to slide into the registering vertical dovetail slots of the side-by-side bins to fix the side-by-side bins together. The same dovetail slots on the bins can be used to mount accessories such as golf bag retainers, baseball bat racks, storage bins or other components.

Abstract: A reusable packaging device for protecting an object during shipment may include at least four end caps and strap assemblies configured to selectively hold the end caps in a desired expanded position relative to one another during shipment of the object and to hold the end caps in contact with one another after the object has been received. In one embodiment the object may be clamped between two of the packaging devices for shipment.

Each sidewall includes a base body and at least one positioning portion formed at an end of the base body, and the positioning portion latches with the connecting portion of the corresponding first connecting member. The fixing portion engages with one of the latching portions of an adjacent first connecting member; such that a volume of the packing mechanism is adjustable by engaging the fixing portion with another one of the latching portions of the adjacent first connecting members.
