Abstract: A built-up container includes a base, a front and rear side plates, a right and left side plates and a lifted upper cover. The base provides threaded holes and the side plates provide through holes and threaded holes so that the container can be built up with bolts engaging with the threaded holes. It is characterized in that no holes and no bolts expose outside the container with reinforced strength such that integrity and smoothness of the container can be obtained and the fasteners inside the container are free from water and unable to hurt foreign objects. In addition, the container is capable of being set up fast easily to enhance facility of assembling job.

Abstract: A pressure vessel is configured such that a plurality of liners 1 are juxtaposed with one another. Each liner 1 includes a tubular trunk 4, and end plates 5 for closing opposite end openings of the tubular trunk 4. Two adjacent liners 1 are integrally connected together via a connection member 2 provided therebetween. The interiors of the integrally connected two adjacent liners 1 communicate with one another via a communication path 3 formed in the liners 1 and in the connection member 2. The ends of connection-member-forming projections 16 provided respectively on the two adjacent liners 1 are butt-joined together, thereby forming the connection member 2. The two adjacent liners 1 have respective through-holes 17 extending from the inner surfaces of the two adjacent liners to the ends of the connection-member-forming projections 16, and the through-holes 17 of the two adjacent liners 1 establish communication therebetween, thereby forming the communication path 3.

Eight corners are connected to corners of the front frame and the rear frame so as to hide the bolts.

Abstract: A polygon-shaped, knockdown, and stackable container. The container includes a side wall having a plurality of panels. The plurality of panels include a pair of skins and a plurality of cores. The plurality of cores are sandwiched between the pair of skins to form a laminate. The core has an axial compression strength greater than that of the pair of skins to allow the core to prevent puncturing, to provide insulation, to prevent any deformation or collapse during stacking, to avoid warping, and to resist against bulging as a result of internal material flow, while the pair of skins reduce overall weight.

Abstract: Reconfigurable containers which may adopt two stable configurations are described. In the first configuration, the container is suitable for the storing and transport of goods. When in a second, collapsed configuration, the container occupies a lesser volume than the first configuration and thus requires less shipping space. This is accomplished through the use of at least one deformable active material member that is preferably a shape memory polymer and, optionally, releasable fasteners.

Abstract: A palletized shipping container for bulk handling of fluid materials has a rigid box-like outer shell within which is positioned a flexible bag and an intermediate corrugated liner sandwiched between the walls of the bag and shell. The bag has flap-like extensions at an upper end attached to the walls of the shell to maintain the bag in an erect uncollapsed configuration, a non-removable bung at its top end, and a non-removable discharge valve adjacent its bottom end. The bung is releasably retained at the top of the liner to maintain the bung in a proper position and prevent sagging of the bag. An inwardly and downwardly angled cushioned surface at the bottom of the shell supports the liner and bag, provides additional cushioning, facilitates emptying of the bag, and reduction of residual material. The pallet allows 4-sided entry of fork lift forks.

Abstract: Disclosed is a sealed container formed from six rectangular foam insulating panels. The edges of two of the panels forming opposing sides are positioned to face the inner sides of the panels forming the two other opposing sides. The upper side of the bottom panel of the container is positioned to face the lower edges of all the sides. The sides are then strapped together under tension (one or more straps around the outer side of the sides; and, one strap around the edges of each of the two of the opposing sides and the lower surface of the bottom panel, to hold the bottom panel in place). The compressibility of the foam allows the panel edges to compress into the area of the panel sides contacted, thereby bonding the structure firmly together. The cargo is placed inside the container, atop the panel forming the bottom. Alternatively, the bottom panel is not strapped, but the container is placed inside a box, and sealing the box holds the bottom (and top) panels in place.

Abstract: A seal member internally seals a depressurized chamber constructed by joining a plurality of plates. The seal member includes a linear portion for sealing a linear joint of the depressurized chamber and a loop portion for sealing around a corner of the depressurized chamber by being pressed against internal walls of the plates forming the corner. The loop portion is arranged to enclose the corner of the depressurized chamber. The loop portion is fixed by using a support block held at the corner and a corner pressing member joined to the plates forming the corner. The loop portion is secured between a support surface of the support block and the corner pressing member.

Abstract: A container device includes a skeleton having four vertical posts and four lower and four upper beams to be secured between end portions of the posts. Each of the posts includes a slot formed in one side and a groove in the other side of each of the end portions. A number of corner couplers each includes three extensions perpendicular to each other, for engaging into open ends of the beams and the posts. A number of insert panels are engaged into the end portions of the posts via the grooves of the posts and each includes a screw hole. A number of fasteners are engaged into the corner couplers, and threaded with the screw holes of the insert panels to secure the corner couplers and the beams and the posts together, and to form a parallelepiped container.

Abstract: A wine barrel having a rigid external reusable frame with replaceable wooden side panels and substantially identical upper and lower wooden ends assembled within the rigid external frame to provide a wooden enclosure for the wine. A liquid tight container is provided; the wine exposed only to wooden surfaces. Panels can be replaced in the frame with new panels or existing panels having an unused side can be removed, reversed, and reused. Assembly of the barrel is straightforward requiring only minimum tools and skills without the need for the hand-fitting expertise required in constructing a traditional barrel. When assembled, the rigid frame, and not the wood panels, supports all the external and internal loads of the wine barrel. For introduction of a caramel taste to the wine the wood panels can be initially placed in an oven with the degree of caramelization controlled by the oven temperature and exposure time.

Abstract: A casket assembly includes a container and a two-piece lid. The two-piece lid includes a superior lid that covers the anterior end of the casket and an inferior lid that covers the opposite end. The container includes a bottom panel, an inferior end panel, a superior end panel, and two elongated side panels. Each elongated side portion has a recessed portion on the superior end of the casket for providing an improved viewing of the deceased. In one embodiment, the casket panels each include a plurality of mortise holes and/or tenons. The tenons on individual panels are designed to fit into the mortise holes on other panels. Pins are placed through pinholes on the tenons to retain the tenons in the mortise holes. A shelf and bracket assembly may be provided for use in displaying mementos of the deceased and/or for supporting the inferior casket lid.

The side edges of adjacent panels are removably mounted to each other as by bolting so that the side edges of the third and fourth panels abut the side edges of the first and second panels. Fastener bracing means such as bolt bracing are mounted to the side edges of the panels and are aligned between adjacent the panels so that fastener receiving apertures therethrough provide for rigid bracing of rigid fasteners such as bolts mounted through and between the fastener bracing means on the adjacent panels. Rigid fasteners such as bolts may thus be mounted through the fastener bracing means on the adjacent the panels.

Abstract: Barrier units and articles made therefrom, particularly constraining bands of high strength and low weight for containing articles, especially in blast resistant container assemblies, are disclosed. The barrier unit comprises a surface having a regular polygonal perimeter with a plurality of substantially parallel sides, each of which terminates in at least one loop integral with the surface. The surface comprises at least one network of high strength fiber with at least about 50 weight percent of the fiber comprising substantially contianuous lengths of fiber aligned in the hoop direction of the loops. The barrier units have utility as constraining bands for loads of articles like logs, and as doors/closures for access openings to the interior of aircraft blast resistant cargo containers. They are also useful as fences and window protectors.

Abstract: The modular security safe with offset security bolt box of the present invention includes a number of modular panels which serve as the top, bottom, and sides of the safe. The modular panels of the safe are cast in a plastic or metal mold with high-density concrete reinforced by expanded metal. The modular panels included outer portions and stepped or rabbeted inner portions. The panels are formed from a sheet of material bent to a desired form. Concrete is poured in to the panel, in a single pour step. The panel is vibrated to allow the concrete to settle, and the concrete is allowed to set. The outer surface can then be covered with a desired laminate. The panels have security bolt boxes attached by bolts to the inner portions thereof. Security bolt boxes comprise a tray having a bottom and upstanding walls, and they can be formed by bending a single sheet of material. The modular side panels are attached to the top and bottom panels by bolts extending through the security bolt boxes.

Abstract: A frame for packaging goods consists essentially of long, extruded edge pieces, and corner pieces. Each corner piece has projections that fit into the ends of two edge pieces, to form a rectangular frame, or three edge pieces, to form a cuboidal frame. The edge pieces are preferably L-shaped, and oriented to cradle the edges of a rectangular object fitted within the frame. In one embodiment, the projections may be in the form of three round pins in an L shape to fit into one L-shaped edge piece. In another embodiment, the corner pieces consist of two halves hinged together, so that the sides of the frame can be folded out into a straight line without being separated.

Abstract: The invention is an interlocking structure. It can be shipped in a low volume disassembled state. It is easily interlocked together, without tools or special skills, by the eventual user. The interlocked structure has uncommon rigidity and strength. Containers like dresser drawers, laundry baskets or waste paper baskets, shelters like dog houses and human shelters, or furniture like a portable fireplace can be interlocked together using a plurality of interconnecting rods and hooks. The modular structure includes two cover plates opposite each other, contributing to defining a housing for at least one printed circuit board. The cover plates engage one another by sandwiching, via a first edge, a support for one or more connection blocks for the connection and, via a second edge, a support for a locking mechanism in order to hold the structure in a connected position. The support for the locking mechanism and for the connection blocks have ends which are separate before the assembly of the cover plate. Such a modular structure may find particular application to electronic installations of the integrated modular avionics type.

The shape of the side elements is such that disassembled side elements from several bins will nest inside an assembled bin for storage and return shipping.

The barb extends into the groove of whichever panel is adjacent thereto to removably interconnect the adjacent panels and the coupling.

A container lid releasably seals against the collar by operation of fastener parts retained in the lid that engage the collar connector elements. Gasket materials adjacent the collar periphery and around the fastener parts function to provide a reusable sealed canister useful for water activities and other outdoor involvements.

Abstract: A temporary berm or bin system, easily transported, erected without tools, and easily dismantled. A set of panels or planks is joined with sliding clips to form a bin having vertical or near vertical sides. The bin is lined with an impervious sheet of geocloth to form a containment berm for use in controlling the dispersal of hazardous material spilled from storage or work facilities. Spring loaded clamps hold the geocloth securely to the uppermost plank without nailing, sewing, or other labor consuming and/or tear prone methods. The berm is particularly suited to protect oil well drilling sites in environmentally sensitive environments such as arctic tundra. No excavation or other disturbance of the soil is required to erect the protective berm. The berm is secured to the ground by spildng through triangular support gussets. In the arctic, securing may be accomplished by freezing ice or mud as an “ice mortar” over the gusset feet and along the lower edge of the planking.

Abstract: A polygon-shaped container comprising a plurality of normally rigid boards providing sides of a polygon-shaped container having a predetermined polygon configuration; a plurality of connecting members each connecting adjacent edges of the plurality of normally rigid boards together, each of the plurality of connecting members having sufficient strength to maintain the polygon-shaped container in the predetermined polygon configuration and yet sufficiently flexible to enable the plurality of normally rigid boards to be shipped flat to a user who will form the polygon-shaped container into the predetermined polygon configuration; a first arrangement to close a bottom of the polygon-shaped container; and a second arrangement to close a top of the polygon-shaped container after being filled.

Abstract: A rattan basket is disclosed. The rattan basket has a first, a second, a third and a fourth plans incorporated into a rectangle frame. The rattan basket further has a bottom plan and a cover. With the insertion of a first connector, a second connector and a third connector, the rectangle frame and the bottom plan are securely connected together. With the insertion of the first connector, the second connector and a fourth connector, the cover is able to be pivotally connected to encase the basket.

Abstract: A hamper assembly has a plurality of separate sections, and a plurality of supports. Each section has a first side and a second side, and a connector provided on each side of each section. In addition, each support removably couples the connector on the first side of one section and the connector on the second side of an adjacent section.
