Abstract: A trash can assembly positionable upon a surface is provided. The assembly comprises a trash bag restable on a base having a back edge and a front edge. A back wail extends from the base and has a first and second back connection edges. A door is provided having first and second door connection edges. The first door connection edge is liingedly connected to the first back connection edge and closable to completely encase the trash bag between the back wall and the closed door. Upon the door being in the closed position, the distance of the first and second door connection edges to the back edge of the base is less than the distance of the first and second back connection edges to the front edge of the base. The trash bag is completely contained within the assembly and removable upon opening of the door.

Abstract: The present invention is a talking trash receptacle that includes a lid that is removably placed on the receptacle, a plurality of speakers that are disposed on the lid that emit an audio message alerting one or more users that the receptacle is full, a beam sensor that runs across the receptacle and senses when trash and debris contained and piled-up in the receptacle intersect the beam sensor and a trash bag that is disposed within the receptacle that contains the trash and debris that are contained and piled-up within the receptacle. The receptacle also includes a trash can that contains the trash bag and the trash and debris, a speaker board that serves as a base of the speakers that are disposed on the speaker board and a plurality of sensor holding arms that secures the beam sensor in place that runs across the top portion of the receptacle.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a container for flowable material configured to be installed in a counter below an access hole. The container includes a first deformable portion and a second deformable portion. The first deformable portion defines a first cavity and has a sealable first cavity inlet. The second deformable portion defines a second cavity and is in flow communication with the first cavity. The first deformable portion is configured to deform to fit into the access hole when substantially no flowable material is therein and the second deformable portion configured to deform to fit through the access hole when substantially no flowable material is therein. The disclosure also includes a method of installing a container of flowable material in a counter below an access hole.

The bag has a zipper or other sealable means, and a series of pick-up or attachment loops or handles that may also be attached to the outer bag material. Abstract: A reusable beer keg is disclosed comprising a hollow beer keg body with a dispenser tube assembly having a dispenser valve, dispenser tube, and a disposable bladder. The dispenser valve is releasably attached to a top portion of the keg body and the dispenser tube and bladder extend into the interior of the keg body. When beer flows through the open dispenser valve and into the bladder, the beer causes the bladder to unfurl until it contacts the inside surface of the keg body. When the beer keg has been emptied it can be returned to the brewery for reuse by cleaning the dispenser valve, dispenser tube and disposing of the used bladder. The beer keg body does not need to be cleaned, however, because the beer only comes in contact with the disposable bladder and not the keg body. The beer keg parts can then be reassembled, using a new bladder in place of the used bladder.

The apparatus includes a gripping portion for contacting the substrate and holding the apparatus in place on the substrate. The apparatus also includes a bag-supporting portion configured to support an open end portion of a flexible plastic bag thereon, the bag-supporting portion including an outer loop portion and a downwardly-extending short portion attached to the outer loop portion at each end thereof. A projecting catch is defined, at each end of the outer loop portion, at the juncture of the downwardly-extending short portion and the outer loop portion. The outer loop portion is sized and configured to support a plastic bag of a predetermined size thereon. The apparatus also includes a connecting portion interconnecting the bag-supporting portion and the gripping portion. Methods of using the apparatus are also described.

Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating hygienic storage and disposal of waste packages such as used disposable diapers include a housing, a lid, and a bag unit having a bag frame and an attached single use flexible bag. The flexible bag is pleated and larger in cross-section at a lower portion than it is at the connection to the bag frame. The bag frame is releasably mounted to the housing so that it will not rotate. The lower portion of the flexible bag is positioned in a storage chamber of the housing that is shaped so as to align and center the bag. A rotatable member having radially extending flexible fingers is engaged with an intermediate portion of the bag. When the lid is closed, the rotatable member will twist the intermediate portion of the bag, sealing odors in the lower portion of the bag. A parent or caregiver will push the waste package through the resistance of the twisted intermediate portion into the lower portion of the bag, and close the lid to re-seal the twisted portion.

Abstract: A reinforced container system comprises a container having a bottom wall, a pair of opposite side walls, a pair of opposite end walls, and opposed pairs of diagonal corner panels interposed between adjacent side and end walls to form an interior space. The bottom wall includes two opposed glue panels each of which is foldably joined to respective longitudinal edges of the bottom wall and each of which attached to the respective side walls. A protective sleeve is configured to detachably attach to the container. The protective sleeve includes two side walls, two end walls and opposed pairs of diagonal corner walls interposed between adjacent side and end walls. The side walls, the end walls and the diagonal corner walls are joined to one another along four vertical hinges to whereby protect the container against tremendous forces and inertia caused by mixing or shaking machinery.

Abstract: An improved receptacle liner bag is formed of two layers of thin flexible stretchable plastic sheets which are sealed along the sides and bottom, but are unsealed along the top of the bag. The sheets are die-cut to form a framed opening which defines a band between the sides and the top of the bag. When the bag is placed in the receptacle, the band may be disposed around the outside of the sides of the receptacle and stretched over the base of the receptacle so as to provide a hold-down for the bag in the receptacle. The sheets may be perforated along a line below the framed opening. The line, when opened, forms an auxiliary band which can be stretched over and placed behind a hinge of a lid of the receptacle to secure the back of the liner bag in the receptacle.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a container liner with an aerate system which reduces the specific bulk density of the powder material inside the liner and thereby improves the flowability of the product. This significantly reduces the unloading time and increases the safety in relation to the discharge process due to a lower response angle and thereby that the required tilting angle of the cargo container is reduced.

Abstract: A shipping container liner system for use in the shipping of bulk flowable products is described. The system comprises a specially adapted shipping container liner that is self-supporting without the need of rear-mounted rigid supportive bars to retain the liner within the shipping container during filling and discharge. The system comprises an arrangement of interior support baffles operating in conjunction with a plurality of exterior anchor straps adapted to distribute the cargo load throughout the length of the liner. A specialized hopper for unloading the bulk material is also disclosed.

Abstract: Provided is a waste disposal device for disposing of used feminine hygiene products and for storing unused feminine hygiene products. The device includes a lower body defining a lower interior compartment and a disposal opening in communication therewith. A door is coupled to the lower body and is moveable between open and closed positions. The door is moved from the closed toward the open position to facilitate passage of a used product into the lower interior compartment for disposal. An upper body is coupled to the lower body and defines a storage compartment for unused feminine hygiene products. The upper body is selectively moveable relative to the lower body between raised and lowered positions. At least a portion of the upper body is moved away from the lower body as the upper body moves from the lowered position toward the raised position to facilitate access to the disposal opening.

Abstract: A reusable beer keg is disclosed including a hollow beer keg body with a dispenser tube assembly having a dispenser valve, dispenser tube, and a disposable bladder. The dispenser valve is releasably attached to a top portion of the keg body and the dispenser tube and bladder extend into the interior of the keg body. When beer flows through the open dispenser valve and into the bladder, the beer causes the bladder to expand until it contacts the inside surface of the keg body. When the beer keg has been emptied it can be returned to the brewery for reuse by cleaning the dispenser valve, dispenser tube and disposing of the used bladder. The beer keg parts can then be reassembled, using a new bladder in place of the used bladder.

Abstract: An apparatus which is used to very securely retain a disposable trash bag onto the upper interior circumference of the trash receptacle portion of a janitorial cart. It includes a retaining ring which is securely retained by spring force action against the upper interior rim of the trash receptacle. A trigger mechanism is used to lock the retaining ring in a raised condition over the upper interior circumference so that the open ends of a disposable trash bag are inserted between the retaining ring and the upper interior surface. The trigger mechanism is retained in place by engaging teeth which engage ratcheted receiving teeth. A pair of pushbuttons serve to release the trigger mechanisms so that the return spring force causes the retaining ring to move upwardly and release the entrapped disposable garbage bag.

Abstract: A dual bin waste receptacle is disclosed having a bin assembly comprised of a pair of bins sharing a single divider between them. The bins are waterproof and leak proof. The tops of each respective bin has a continuous rim that a trash liner may be folded over. A complementary dual lid assembly is also provided that snaps onto the bin assembly thereby pinching both of the trash liners. The lid assembly is hinged in the middle, essentially over the divider that allows access to and trash liner removal from each side independently.

Single-use packaging is reduced since light-weight flexibles are used as distribution and retail packaging, and a durable carafe is used repeatedly in the home.

The combined apparatus including a combination of an expandable, air-tight storage bag and a soft-sided container for storing the storage bag therein. The soft-sided container having four side walls, a top portion, and a bottom portion defining a compact and low profile when in a collapsed state. A base support member is attached to the bottom portion of the container. At least one securing member is attached to the bottom portion of the container. In operation, as air within the storage bag is evacuated from the storage bag, the storage bag and the compressible articles stored therein collapse into the soft-sided container.

Abstract: Described is a system for controlling the operation of a trash can lid that includes a shell for receiving trash, a lid assembly that covers a portion of the shell, and an actuator assembly that independently controls the rate in which the lid assembly moves with respect to the shell. Also provided is a system for improving the operation of a trash can that includes a lid assembly for covering a portion of a shell, an actuator assembly, a base assembly, and a hydraulic component. The hydraulic component controls the rate in which a portion of the lid assembly moves with respect to the shell. The system further includes an adjustable volume of space that is formed between the base assembly and the removable liner when the removable liner is coupled to the base assembly. The adjustable volume of space can be used to store deodorizers, insecticides, or the like.

A hypoallergenic barrier [1200] which acts as a liner inside of container [1000] employs material having a tight weave with pores 10 microns or smaller to keep out dust, dust mites or other allergenic materials. The storage container [1000] is capable of storing items for long periods of time with little or no change to the item. It also minimizes allergic reactions to those using the items after storage.

Abstract: A system comprising a multiple-bag pack supported for dispensing, loading, and removal of bags on a structure. The pack includes a bag-attachment portion wherein the multiple bags are sequentially attached. Each bag is removable in sequence by separation from the pack along a parting feature. The bags are contained within the structure and the bag-attachment portion is folded outwards over a lip to secure the bag pack. The front edge of the outermost bag of the pack is drawn over another lip to open the bag for loading. The rear edge remains attached to the bag pack, thus fully distending the mouth of the bag. To change bags, the rear edge of the bag is separated from the pack and the first lip along the parting structure. The front edge of the loaded bag is removed from the second lip, and the bag is closed and removed from the structure.

A base section supporting the container has an interior space in which a roll of trash bags is rotatably mounted. A single trash bag from the roll is threaded from the interior space and through the channel. The trash bag exits from the open top of the channel where its perforation is separated from the roll of trash bags. The adjacent, next trash bag on the roll remains in the channel member. A new, clean trash bag is thus easily accessible to the user by simply pulling the next trash bag which is exposed through the open top of the channel member.

Abstract: The present invention is a garbage can with a plurality of sides and a top used in combination with a trash bag that includes two air tubes with two ends that are disposed on the inside sides of the garbage can with a tapered bottom. The garbage can has the two air tubes molded on the inside and sides of the garbage can and are on opposite sides of the inside of the can facing each other. The air tube ends are tapered approximately 1 inch from the bottom of the garbage can to prevent a trash bag from getting snagged on the ends of the air tubes and are recessed approximately 1 inch lower than the top of the garbage can.

Abstract: A paint cup assembly for a paint sprayer is disclosed and can include a cap, a paint liner defining a closed proximal end and an open distal end, and a ring configured to fit around the paint liner. The ring can engage the cap and secure the paint liner to the cap. Further, the ring can include an axial extension that can extend toward the proximal end of the paint liner such that the ring can be configured to allow a user to grasp the paint cup assembly without collapsing the paint liner during attachment with a paint sprayer.

Abstract: This disclosure describes methods and apparatuses for reducing emissions of vehicles, such as waste collection vehicles. The disclosure describes a novel light-weight collection bin that has a weight that is less than previously utilized collection bins. The light-weight collection bin utilizes a bag made of a fabric-like material in combination with a collection bin body that frames the bag to form the light-weight collection bin.
