The side and end walls are pivotably connected to the base between an upright position generally perpendicular to the base and a collapsed position on the base. A support is pivotably and slidably mounted to each of the end walls. The support is configured to extend into the container and to fully retract within the end wall. The support extends far enough into the container to reliably support another container thereon.

A lid is slideably mounted on top of the container so that it can be slid relative to the back panel. The lid is arranged so that when fully retracted to the back of the container relative to the back panel, it may pivot to overlay the back panel. The container may be collapsed by retracting and pivoting the lid to overlie the back panel (18), folding the side extension (20), folding and sliding the side panel (16) into the base (12) and lowering the folded side extension (20) and then the back panel (18) and lid (40) into the base.

The container may include a stabilizing hinge assembly including a stabilizing ledge and a stabilizing hook that securely engage the respective sidewalls to the base of the container to stiffen the container and distribute the loads more evenly. The sidewalls and base of the container may also define contact areas to support the carried items without bruising or damaging the items. The sidewalls may also include various latching features to maintain the container in the expanded configuration.

When one of the first pivoting pin and the second pivoting pin is pulled out, the outer hinge can overturn around the other pivoting pin hence to make the end wall overturn and fold towards inside or outside of the container body. When the first pivoting pin and the second pivoting pin are simultaneously located within the pivoting holes of the corresponding inner hinge and outer hinge, the end wall is fixed to the vertical state.

The vertical side walls may be moved into a folded position when the reusable container is empty to reduce the space required for transporting the empty containers. The reusable container interlocks with other reusable containers stacked on a dolly in either the extended position or the folded position such that stacks of reusable containers can be pushed on a dolly up inclines and over bumps without any restraints.

Abstract: A collapsible frame container assembly comprises a frame component comprising a plurality of panels connected to each other, the panels being movable relative to each other between a first substantially folded condition wherein the panels are collapsed and a second unfolded condition wherein the panels are opened to define a frame structure. Also provided is a container component comprising first and second sides defining a space therebetween of a size which can be varied according to the relative positions of the first and second sides. The frame component when in the unfolded condition and the container component are releasably coupled to each other to define a predetermined frame container assembly.

Abstract: The invention relates to a packaging blank and container having an integral reclosable pour spout which provides enhanced seals, and promotes accurate placement of the pour spout during construction. The blank provides a pour spout assembly having a skewed fold line that facilitate folding operations and promotes accurate positioning of the pour spout, a detachable access tab that promotes sealing and provides tamper evidence, and a novel pour spout assembly that promotes directional and controlled pouring of articles. The invention further relates to a container formed from the blank.
