Abstract: A lid for a cup is described where the lid acts to hold a can upside down inside the cup. The lid including a rim attachment mechanism allowing the lid to be attached to the cup and a dome connected to the rim attachment mechanism and having an aperture therein. The lid also includes a can receptacle extending from the top into the interior of the dome through the aperture in the dome, wherein the can receptacle is formed to accept a can and to hold the can in a fixed position relative to the lid, and a bottle receptacle extending from a bottom of the can receptacle, wherein the bottle receptacle is formed to accept a neck of the bottle and to hold the bottle in a fixed position relative to the lid.

Abstract: A holder intended to hold a can upside down inside a container when attached thereto is described. The holder includes a clip having an inner wall and an outer wall spaced to accept an exterior wall of the container in between, where the clip is formed at an arc corresponding to the arc of the exterior wall of the container and a deck connected in a permanently fixed relationship to the clip and extending into the container, the deck including an aperture. The holder also includes an insert inserted into the aperture in the holder, the insert formed by a can receptacle having a first ledge to hold the top of the can when inserted therein and a neck insert, the neck inserted into the aperture until a second ledge on the insert comes to rest against the deck of the holder.

Abstract: A drinking vessel holder includes a drinking vessel receptacle arranged in a housing and a height-adjustable bottom element. The bottom element is arranged in the drinking vessel receptacle and can be displaced between an upper rest position and a lower set-down position, wherein a drinking vessel can be set down on the bottom element in the drinking vessel receptacle. A positionally adjustable supporting element prevents the drinking vessel from toppling over, and wherein the bottom element in the drinking vessel receptacle forms a first piston or else is connected to a first piston and the supporting element forms an annular piston between the housing and the drinking vessel receptacle or else is connected to at least one second piston, wherein movement of at least one of the first piston, the second piston, and the annular piston causes fluid overpressure and fluid underpressure.

Abstract: Aspects of the invention include a sleeve or wrap for protecting a container. In certain embodiments, the sleeve or wrap is a protective encasement for protecting a container, such as a bottle. In certain embodiments, the sleeve or wrap includes a body with a lumen, wherein the body is configured for holding and/or containing the container. For instance, in one embodiment, the protective sleeve includes a tubular body and at least a first opening in the protective body that is adapted for receiving the container. In certain embodiments, the body of the sleeve includes silicone. Accordingly, in certain embodiments, the sleeve is a protective silicone sleeve that is adapted to hold and/or contain a container, thereby protecting the container from damage (e.g., breaking). Also provided is a system for protecting a container that includes a protective sleeve, as described above, and a container that is configured for being associated, e.g., fit within, the protective sleeve.

Abstract: A beverage container holder is provided, consisting of an elongated body having a planar upper support surface having alternative engagement mechanisms on opposing ends and at a mid-point thereof. At one end an aperture is formed, having a support suspended therein to receive and retain a beverage container—cup, glass or can. At an opposing end and at a midpoint of the planar upper support surface, a pair of apertures cooperates with the thumb and fingers of a user's hand, to position and secure a food plate against an upper surface of the beverage container holder. The thumb and fingers extend through the apertures from a position below the holder, and in gripping the food plate, the user is also grasping the holder—which in turn may be carrying a beverage container held within the beverage-receiving aperture.

Abstract: An apparatus, system and method for attaching a lid to a beverage container is provided. In one embodiment a lid is positioned over the container opening and fastened to a first bead located around the opening. The lid also fastens to a second bead that is either located on the container, or located on a partial ring that is positioned adjacent to the first bead. The partial collar may only extend partway around the container. The partial collar may be removable and may also include a handle. Abstract: A front opening wafer container suitable, for large diameter wafers, 300 mm and above, utilizes a removable robotic flange that attaches vertically, without separate fasteners, using detents having resilient bending members that extend vertically to attach to an upwardly extending flange on the top wall of the container portion. A multiplicity of upwardly and outwardly extending strengthening ribs extend upwardly from the top wall of the container portion and extend along the top wall toward the left and right sides and the back side of the container portion, and each of all four sides of the attachment flange. A further locking piece or core may be inserted and retained at the neck of the robotic flange to lock the resilient deflectable portions in their retention position. The locking piece further may be secured in place with a detent mechanism formed by part of the core and flanges.

Abstract: A drink vessel holder holds a drink vessel on a target surface such as a plate of food and allows the user to hold both the plate and the drink vessel held thereon with the same hand in order to allow the other hand to be used for enjoyment of the products being held. The drink vessel holder has a body member with a convex upper surface that seats within a concave bottom surface of a drink vessel. A tab extends outwardly from the body member, the tab being used by the user to hold the drink vessel on the plate. The tab may have an arcuate channel that receives a portion of the bottom structural ring of the drink vessel or the structural ring may be depressed or slotted for passage of the tab therethrough.

Abstract: A container insert, and an apparatus and a method of producing the container insert. The container insert is formed as a deformable pouch adapted to be received in an interior of an associated container. The pouch has a closed lower end, an open upper end, and spaced apart sealed edges. The lower end of the pouch includes two leg portions. The pouch is manipulateable to generally conform to the interior of the contained and form a hollow interior space therein for receiving an object and providing a lining for the interior of the container. The apparatus and the method for producing the insert provides for a substantially automatic and continuous production of the insert from a roll of material.

Abstract: An insulating beverage container holder is disclosed that is adapted to receive either longneck beverage bottles or aluminum cans. The insulating beverage holder consists of a substantially cylindrical body having 3 axially aligned apertures therein. One aperture is sized for an interference fit with the cylindrical diameter of an aluminum can beverage container. A second aperture is sized for an interference fit with the neck portion of a longneck beverage container. A third aperture, situated between the first and second apertures, is sized for an interference fit with the larger diameter of a longneck beverage container. Retaining mechanisms are also disclosed that secure longneck beverage containers within the holder to prevent inadvertent removal of the beverage container from within the insulated beverage container holder.

Abstract: A cooling system comprises a container that is conductively coupled or convectively coupled to a thermoelectric device to selectively cool and/or heat the container. A climate controlled container system for a vehicle includes a container or cavity and a conduction element configured to cool the cavity. In some embodiments, the cooling system comprises a housing, a housing inlet, a fluid passage and one or more thermoelectric devices and fluid transfer devices positioned within the housing.

Abstract: Embodiments are presented herein that provide a beverage container made of a beverage holder and a base, wherein the base can be detached from the beverage holder and reattached repeatedly without rendering the base incapable of reattachment. In a preferred embodiment, the bottom of the beverage holder is retained in an aperture in the base by an interference fit. The removability of the base from the beverage holder allows a plurality of bases to be stacked together and a plurality of beverage holders to be stacked together, for ease in storage and transport.

Abstract: Some embodiments may relate to a beverage holder and/or systems, methods and/or devices for dispensing beverage holders. According to an embodiment, a flexible sheet structure may have a generally elongate shape defining a wrap. The wrap may have a first major surface and a second major surface, wherein the flexible sheet is thermally insulative. A pressure sensitive adhesive may be disposed on or comprise the first major surface, and visual indicia such as advertising or labeling may be disposed on or comprise the second major surface. Abstract: In one preferred embodiment, the invention is a cup holder sleeve comprising a quadrilateral planar sheet, defining a top and bottom concave edge parallel to each other, and a first and second edge at opposite ends of the sheet. The sheet is preferably air-laid non-woven cellulose, making it lightweight, biodegradable, heat transfer resistant, and cost-effective to transport.

Abstract: A holder for cylindrical or conical containers includes holding fingers distributed around a vertical central axis. Each finger has a base attached in a connecting region to a base area and includes a first finger segment extending from the base to an area at maximum distance from the base area. The outer area of the finger is tiltable away from the axis away from a base position about a first hinge in the connecting region. A second finger segment extends outwardly from the first finger segment and from a second hinge formed in the outer area to a free end. In the base position, these second finger segments extend at an angle relative to the axis so that the free ends are closer to the axis than the outer areas. The free ends of the second finger segments are displaced outward, away from the axis via the second hinges.

Abstract: One example embodiment is directed to a disposable sleeve for a vehicle cup holder. The sleeve includes a rigid ring portion that includes a horizontal lip or flange, and a flexible, cup-shaped portion that is attached to the ring. Preferably, the bottom surface of the lip and the cup-shaped portion include non-residual adhesive for removably-securing the sleeve to a vehicle's cup holder. In this respect, if I user spills liquid, food, or other dirt inside the sleeve, the sleeve can be easily removed and replaced.

Abstract: The bottle holder is formed of a synthetic fiber rope, allowing various portions of the rope to be fused together by heat or solvent. The ends of the rope are melted and pressed together to form a relatively large endless loop. The facing portions of this loop are then partially melted and pressed together to form a single fused handgrip portion having loops extending from opposite ends thereof. One loop is preferably larger than the other, the larger loop being adapted to fit around the base of a beverage bottle and the smaller loop being adapted to fit about the bottleneck. The fused central or handgrip portion of this structure is then helically wound with a smaller diameter cord to form a handgrip, the ends of the cord being captured by the juncture of one of the rope loops and by a bight in the cord.

A telescoping holder unit with substantially cylindrical sleeve elements slides from a collapsed state to an expanded state in response to movement of the tray member. A top rim of the holder unit is fixed with respect to a cylindrical sleeve element having a largest diameter and is coupled to the tray member. A bottom plate of the holder unit is coupled to the fold-down door. The holder unit accommodates various beverage containers.

Abstract: A vacuum processing apparatus includes a tray configured to hold a substrate, a tray support member including an arm configured to support the tray, and a holder to which the tray support member is attached. The arm includes a support portion which abuts against a lower portion of the tray, and a counterbore portion formed into a recessed shape below an edge of the tray such that the counterbore portion does not abut against the tray. When the tray is supported by the tray support member, an edge of an outer side surface of the tray is positioned above the counterbore portion and does not contact the tray support member, and the tray support member is configured to support the tray while pushing the tray against the holder. The tray is configured to form a space with the holder when pushed against the holder while holding the substrate and includes, on a side of the holder, a substantially ring-like projection configured to abut against the holder.

Abstract: A shaped Styrofoam insulated sheet for shading a beverage container has fold lines thereacross to define a bottom coaster portion for resting on flat surface and shaped for supporting a base of the beverage container, an upstanding piece along one side of the beverage container shaped to follow a side elevation of the beverage container to act as a shade the beverage container and an upwardly inclined top cover piece extending over the beverage. The upstanding piece is bottle or glass shaped and carries advertising printed on the outside surface or inserted as a sheet into a transparent envelope.

Abstract: A specimen collection container includes inner and outer tubes. The inner tube includes a bottom end, a top end, and a sidewall extending therebetween defining an interior. The sidewall includes an inner surface and an outer surface having at least one annular protrusion extending therefrom. The inner tube includes at least one funnel portion adjacent the top end for directing a specimen into the inner tube interior, and an annular ring disposed about a portion of the outer surface of the sidewall adjacent the top end. The outer tube includes a bottom end, a top end, and a sidewall extending therebetween, the sidewall having an outer surface and an inner surface defining an annular recess adapted to receive a portion of the annular protrusion therein. The inner tube is disposed within the outer tube and a portion of the top end of the outer tube abuts the annular ring.

Abstract: A container comprises a wall and a bottom. The wall includes a thermoplastic polymer material, and forms a cylindrical shape. The thermoplastic polymer material has a microstructure that includes a plurality of closed cells, each cell containing a void and each cell having a maximum dimension extending across the void within the cell that ranges between 1 micrometer and 200 micrometers long. The bottom is joined to an end of the cylindrical shape to close the end such that the beverage and/or other items disposed inside the cylindrical shape don't escape through the end of the shape.

Abstract: A double walled container is provided for insulating a beverage. An outer insulating shell or container is secured to the inner container that holds the beverage. A gap exists between the outer container and inner container and the air in the gap acts as an insulating barrier. The inner container is preferably a standard aluminum container. The outer container is preferably made from aluminum or a plastic polymer. The outer container may have annular or longitudinal grooves that assist in securing the outer container to the inner container, and the grooves may also provide an enhanced gripping surface as well as a visually pleasing aesthetic design. The outer container may include a base, or the base may be eliminated in favor of a sleeve configuration for the outer container.

Abstract: An apparatus for carrying one or more items is provided. In an implementation, an example carrying device includes a flexible band and adjustable fasteners that may be attached to a variety of articles, such as the handle of a piece of rolling luggage, to secure drinks from spilling and to manage other personal articles. The example carrying device is adjustable to attach to articles of various sizes, for example to a narrow handle or to a large cooler, while securing containers in an upright position.

An annular shoulder may protrude from the outside vessel surface, and may be spaced from or integrally adjoined to the flange.

The container sleeve defines an upper cross member with a first end connected to the first edge member and a second end connected to the second edge member, and a lower cross member with a first end connected to the first edge member and a second end connected to the second edge member. The container sleeve further defines a center cross member positioned between the upper cross member and the lower cross member. The center cross member includes a first end connected to the first edge member and a second end connected to the second edge member. A center region of the cross member is configured to be positioned away from a center region of the upper cross member and a center region of the lower cross member to enable the insertion of a container into an opening defined between the upper cross member, the lower cross member, and the center cross member.

Abstract: An insulated beverage container holder that incorporates a three-dimensional stuffed figure. Certain disclosed embodiments comprise three-dimensional stuffed figures of animals and, in some embodiments, of cartoon characters. Any three-dimensional object may be portrayed, such as scenes (e.g. a city), buildings (e.g. a castle), toys (e.g. an alphabet block or blocks), sporting equipment (e.g. a baseball and bats, or ballet slippers), etc.

Abstract: An inverted bottle holder is described for holding a bottle with a neck upside down inside a container having an exterior wall. The bottle holder includes a clip having an inner wall and an outer wall spaced to accept the exterior wall of the container in between, wherein the clip is formed having a diameter corresponding to the diameter of the container, and a deck connected to the clip and extending into the container, the deck including an aperture sized to accept the neck of the bottle, such that the bottle is held upside down in the container when inserted into the aperture.

Abstract: An outer sleeve for a double-walled cup and a process for manufacturing the outer sleeve are described, in which a flat-lying blank made from a paper material is joined in a tube shape by means of the overlapping of two longitudinal edges of the blank, and in which the outer sleeve in this form is provided with an inwardly rolled curled part. The curled-in part is glued or sealed onto the inside of outer sleeve in the area of the overlap.

Abstract: An ice cream container cover having at least one interiorly positioned gripping member for preventing rotation of a cylindrical ice cream container. The cap also has an inner opening to permit access to the interior of the ice cream container and a square peripheral edge for engaging the inner walls of the ice cream cooler and any adjacent caps. When a cap is positioned snugly on the upper portion of an ice cream container, the cap will prevent rotation of the container when ice cream is scooped therefrom.

Abstract: A container sleeve designed to be fitted about a beverage container and formed of a single piece of material. The container sleeve includes a first body portion, a second body portion, a first connector and a second connector. The top edges of the body portions facing one another prior to the container sleeve being formed for fitting about the beverage container. The top edges defining a top opening of the container sleeve when the container sleeve is formed for fitting about the beverage container. The first connector is integrally connected to the first side edges of the first and second body portions and the second connector is integrally connected to the second side edges of the first and second body portions.

Abstract: The grocery cart cup holder a front, middle, and rear frame. The front frame has along an outer end a plurality of front clips, which are used to secure the front frame onto the shopping cart seat frame. The middle frame has at least one circular opening, and is hingedly connected to both the front frame and rear frame. The rear frame has at least one back clip that attaches onto the shopping cart seat frame. The grocery cart cup holder can fold flat to enable use of the grocery cart seat, and the cup holder can fold up to provide a cup holder that consists of the circular opening at an elevated position working in tandem with the grocery cart seat to create a cup holder.
