Abstract: A ready hanger automatically pivots about a hinge to raise an arm of the hanger up to make it easy to find the empty hangers in a crowded closet. A hinge is configured between the hook portion and hanger portion and a weighted portion creates an imbalance in the hanger portion to cause it to rotate about the hinge. The hanger portion rotates to produce an inclined end that extends up above the clothes and other hangers in the closet. The weighted portion may be configured proximal an extended end of the arm extension to produce torque to cause the hanger portion to rotate. The hanger portion rotates automatically to an incline angle from horizontal of at least 15 degrees or more. A spring element may be configured between the hook portion and hanger portion to produce the torque required to rotate the hanger portion and produce the inclined end.

Abstract: A hanger orientation detection system determines the orientation of a hanger on a rail-based garment conveyor. To do so, the detection system continuously monitors the pivot state of a pivot arm. The pivot arm pivots between no-contact and contact pivot states. The no-contact pivot occurs when a garment hanger in a correct orientation translates past the pivot arm without contacting the pivot arm. The contact pivot state occurs when a garment hanger in an incorrect orientation translates past the pivot arm and contacts the pivot arm. Contacting the pivot arm displaces the pivot arm in a measurable manner. The sensor measures the deflection of the pivot arm to determine the pivot state. When the sensor senses that the pivot state changes from the no-contact pivot state to the contact pivot state, the detection system generates an alert signal indicating that a garment hanger is in the incorrect orientation.

Abstract: A spring clamp for removably attaching a camera, decoy or other device to a structural support. The clamp includes two opposing arms, each including a handle component and a jaw component. The clamp can be attached to an apparatus when the two jaw components including Inward facing arcuate jaws with gripping teeth and notches are closed around the apparatus. The clamp is provided with a plurality of threaded inserts at selected positions for supporting a device such as a camera. An adjustable and positionable extension may be removably fastened to the camera mount and the camera is detachably coupled to the extension. This allows an article such as a camera to be situated at any desired angle for taking photographs.

The sizer includes a pair of inwardly extending fingers for mounting the sizer to a hook or a body of the hanger. The sizer can be manually or automatically removed from the sizer by a tool, by inserting the tool into a space between the hanger and a respective inwardly extending finger. The hanger and the sizer enable a method of reusing hangers and sizers, by automatically removing the sizers from the hangers, processing the removed hangers and sizers to provide reusable hangers and sizers. The reusable hangers and sizers are distributed to remote garment manufacturers for providing garment-on-hanger products.

Abstract: A stackable hanger includes a main body having a hook portion; and a clip portion that extends downwardly from the main body and includes an opening defined by a bottom edge of the main body, first and second side walls, and a connector wall that connects and extends between bottom ends of the first and second side walls. The clip portion has a flexible clip that protrudes outwardly from the connector wall and has an angled wall that overlies at least a portion of the opening and is configured to flex outwardly away from the first and second side walls.

Abstract: A hanger organizer is provided for supporting and organizing a plurality of articles in a hanging position. The apparatus includes a mechanism that enable multiple items to be hang in an efficient manner and easily be removed from the device. The apparatus includes a hanging element, a connector body, and a ring assembly connected to the hanging element is connected to the top side and the bottom side has a support. The ring assembly moves around the support and can be opened or closed. A biasing element located between the ring main body and a closable element keeps the ring assembly closed until items are hung on the ring assembly.

Abstract: A folding guide hanger for folding clothing includes a first folding guide half having a first front face, a first rear face, a first top face, a first bottom face, a first left face, and a first right face. A hanger hook is coupled to the first folding guide half. A second folding guide half has a second front face, a second rear face, a second top face, a second bottom face, a second left face, and a second right face. A hinge is coupled between the first right face and the second left face. The second folding guide half has an extended position and an alternate folded position. The first folding guide half and the second folding guide half assist in folding an article of clothing and also serve as a clothes hanger.

Abstract: A set of interlocking hangers includes a frame portion, a hook portion coupled to the frame portion for suspending the frame portion, and a support portion coupled to the frame portion. The support portion includes opposed front and back sides. A lock includes a catch, defines an aperture, and includes an actuator. The catch has an extension and a lip, the catch extending from the front side of the support portion and is disposed between the lip and front side of the support portion. Further, the aperture has a front perimeter on the front side of the support portion, the front perimeter being contained in a first plane and a back perimeter on the back side of the support portion. The hangers are movable between a separated configuration at which the hangers are spaced apart and a joined configuration at which the first hanger is adjacent the second hanger.

Abstract: An adjustable garment hanger is disclosed that can accommodate the width and shape of a plurality of different garments. The adjustable garment hanger includes a hanger hook body having a hanger hook leg and an adjustable extension arm having an adjustable extension leg and a retention bracket. The hanger hook leg and the adjustable extension leg are slidably disposed within the retention bracket and configured to adjust the adjustable garment hanger between a maximum length position and a minimum length position.

Abstract: A collapsible hanger for preserving clothing articles. The collapsible hanger includes a rigid center bar having a connector below a hooked top portion of the rigid center bar. A bottom portion of the rigid center bar is attached to a first end of a pair of flexible arms. Each flexible arm of the pair of flexible arms attach to an aperture at a second end. The aperture is configured to receive the rigid center bar therethrough. The rigid center bar may be vertically adjusted such that it slides through the aperture to transition the collapsible hanger between a collapsed and an expanded configuration. The collapsible hanger may be collapsed when inserted into an article of clothing, expanded once inside the article of clothing, and secured in the expanded position.

Abstract: A variable size marker or sizer for garment hangers is disclosed. A gear-shaped wheel with cogs has various size indicia on each cog, and is inserted into a hanger to display the correct size indicia. The hanger has tabs to retain the sizer in place by mating with slits in the sizer. For example, if a displayed garment is size ‘large’, the user chooses the cog with “L” facing upwardly, and inserts the sizer into the hanger through the bottom of the hanger until the hanger's tabs click into the sizer's slits corresponding with the “L”. The “L” is then visible at the top of the hanger. The hanger is made of resilient material to flex outwardly to allow the sizer to be inserted and removed, yet hold the sizer in place when the hanger is in use.

Abstract: In one embodiment a hanger has two interlocking regions, each located at the lower corners of the hanger arms. The interlocking regions have a hole that extends at least part way through the body of the hanger and an extruded lip that extends beyond the body of the hanger at the interlocking region. In one embodiment the outer surface of the interlocking region is narrower than the upper hanging arms of the hanger and the outer edge of the extruded lip is substantially co-planar with the outer surface of the upper hanging arms. This allows the upper hanging arms to be in direct contact with each other when the two hangers are locked together, creating a smooth upper surface.

The necktie and handkerchief holding device allows a user to store handkerchiefs and other accessories in vertically connected pouches. Horizontal bars located between the vertically connected pouches with spring clips on each end of the bars allow for storage of neckties. The top of the necktie and handkerchief holding device has a hanger to allow the necktie and handkerchief holding device to be hung from a hanger rod in a closet or wardrobe cabinet.

Abstract: Various implementations of this disclosure provide a clothes catcher for holding a hanging portion of a clothing item. In some implementations, the clothes catcher can be used with existing or future developed clothes hangers. The garment hanger includes at least one pair of binding slots extending therethrough and separated by a predetermined distance that coincides with the up-and-down, undulating offset distance between each adjacent, nested and stacked garment hanger. In this manner, a coaxial opening or continuous channel is formed through the alternating, successive alignment of an upper slot an adjacent lower slot, a further adjacent upper slot, and so forth.

Abstract: A friction reducing element for a hanging device includes a roller configured for positioning on an upper portion of a hook and a tubular elastomeric sleeve stretch-fitted over an outer surface of the roller. The roller is provided with a contoured outer surface and the sleeve is made from a thermoset elastomer such that the friction reducing element facilitates positioning of the hanging device, along a clothing rod. Use of the thermoset elastomer also prevents premature development of areas of deformation on the friction reducing element over time. The friction reducing element may be assembled into an upper portion of a hook for a clothes hanger, or other similar hanging device.

Abstract: A footwear hanger includes a suspension portion for suspending a pair of shoes having toe separators in as side-by-side relation in an upright position, and a pair of support portions connected to, and in mirror symmetrical relationship with, the suspension portion. Each support portion has a plurality of uprights together operative for jointly supporting one of the shoes. The uprights of each support portion are spaced apart from one another and include bound spaces in which the toe separators of the respective shoe are received for holding the shoe upright in the upright position.

Abstract: A method of imparting enduring beneficial features to a hard flocked surface of an article is provided. The method includes encapsulating a desired beneficial agent as a core material in a polymeric microcapsule, and transferring polymeric microcapsule to the surface by a dipping, spraying, or padding application. The beneficial agent, after getting transferred to the surface of a hard flocked article, imparts long lasting performance, provides fragrance and may protect an article from odor, insect, pest, fungi, bacteria, viruses, and the like. The polymeric microcapsules deliver long lasting benefits to surfaces with flocking, such as clothes hangers. Also described is a process for manufacture of flocked items with benefit delivering polymer microcapsules, without the need for binders or adhesives. Benefit agents are released with shear force on the flocked surface, so they are released when used and provide long-lasting performance.

The separators are spaced a distance apart that allows only a single clothing hanger to fit therebetween. Each separator includes a first member defining a first half of the separator and a second member hingedly coupled to the first member and defining an opposing second half of the separator. The second member, together with the first member, define a first inner-surface circumference and a second inner-surface circumference, wherein the second inner-surface circumference is adjacent the first inner-surface circumference. The first inner-surface circumference is larger than the second inner-surface circumference and both are sized and shaped to mate with clothing rods of various sizes and shapes.

The frame assembly further has a bottom side that connects the first and second lateral sides. A hook assembly has first and second bases. Extending from the first and second bases are first and second hooks respectively. The first and second hooks each have at least one cutout. Each at least one cutout has first and second channels extending therefrom. The hook assembly further has a roller assembly and the hook assembly mounts onto the neck area. The roller assembly has a roller, and extending from the roller are first and second pins that extend from the roller in opposite directions. Each at least one cutout receives the roller, and the first and second channels receive the first and second pins respectively.

Abstract: A covering system includes a tarp made of an elastic membrane and a plurality of tarp fastening hooks. The fastening hooks allow the elastic membrane to be stretched over valuables and affixed to environmental anchors so that creases and puddle-enabling pockets in the membrane are eliminated. The fastening hooks clamp onto the elastic membrane and hook onto the environmental anchors to cause tension in the membrane. The clamping forces of the tarp fasteners are inherently increased in proportion to the tension in the clamped membrane.

Each of the parallel walls has a single boss disposed in a corner of the respective parallel wall and each non-parallel wall is shorter in height than at least one parallel wall.

Abstract: A system for the display and support of apparel includes a support arm which is attached to a horizontal surface such as a clothing bar or shelf The support arm is positioned perpendicularly relative to the horizontal surface so that hanging apparel hung from the support arm is displayed showing the front of the apparel. The support arm, once attached to the clothing bar is prevented from side-to-side, and swaying movement.

Abstract: The present invention is an adjustable hanger which allows for using a single hanger to be utilized for multiple different sized clothes. The shoulders utilize a locking button system. In some embodiments spring or magnetic clips are used on the horizontal beam of the hanger.
