Abstract: A footwear hanger including a central stem having support arms for supporting footwear where the arms are attached to the stem and the hanger has a suspension means for attaching the hanger to a display. The stem has a V-shaped or Y-shaped cross-section along at least part of its length which allows the footwear hanger to be easily stacked one on top of the other when stored without footwear being attached.

Abstract: A security device for supporting and immobilizing a garment is disclosed, where the device includes a flexible member that is capable of looping through a sleeve, trunk, or leg of the garment, and of looping through a stable object such as a fence. The flexible member, which can be a cable, includes a coupling member, and/or locking mechanism is made of plastic and used for wetsuits, inter alia.

Abstract: The present invention relates to ergonomically designed clothing hangers adapted for ease of hand-carrying and hanging on a closet rod. These ergonomic hanger designs feature a rod hook or suspension portion that includes at least two, and preferably three, linearly arrayed curved regions each adapted to ergonomically engage an adult human finger. In this way, for example, the index, middle, and ring fingers of one hand of a person carrying the hanger can easily and comfortably grasp the hanger by the suspension portion. When simultaneously carrying one or several such clothing hangers loaded with clothes, the resultant load is better distributed across the person's hand, allowing for easier, more comfortable, and less fatiguing transportation of the clothing item(s) hanging on the hangers. In preferred embodiments, at least one of the curved regions (often the central or second region among three) is also adapted to conform to the outer dimension and shape of a closet rod.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a hanger and a snap-on-twist-off tag combination is disclosed. In this embodiment, the hanger includes a body, a boss, and a hook. The snap-on-twist-off tag (hereinafter referred to as tag) includes a top end, a bottom end, a body portion connecting the top end and the bottom end, and an opening adjacent to the top end, wherein the body is resiliently expandable. In this embodiment the tag has a locked position, wherein the tag is longitudinally aligned with the body of the hanger, wherein the tag is locked to the top portion of the hanger and cannot be moved freely in any direction, and wherein the boss of the hanger extends through the opening of the tag. The tag also has an unlocked position of the tag, wherein the tag is perpendicularly aligned with the body of the hanger, wherein the boss of the hanger extends through the opening of the of the tag, and wherein the tag is movable.

Abstract: A folding hanger for hanging and folding garments includes a plurality of brackets. The plurality of brackets are connected to one another and have the ability to be folded together. The plurality of brackets are locked in the folded position by a locking device. The garment hanging and folding device provides for a space saving device as well as an easy and wrinkle free way of packing clothes for traveling.

Abstract: A hanger assembly allows a user to hang a pullover garment from its top and remove the pullover garment quickly and easily without damaging it. The hanger assembly includes a handle to which is joined an elongated flexible holder. The handle has a hook portion including a flexible tip and a holder carrier portion including first and second opposed coupling members. The flexible holder is operationally coupled for slidable engagement with the first and second coupling members to allow the flexible holder to transition between a lengthwise compressed state and a partly relaxed state to hang the garment and between the partly relaxed state and a break-free state to remove the garment without stretching its neck opening. The flexible tip prevents the hanger assembly from jumping off a hanger rod as the user pulls down on the pullover garment to remove it.

Abstract: A friction reducing element for a hanging device includes a roller configured for positioning on an upper portion of a hook and a tubular elastomeric sleeve stretch-fitted over an outer surface of the roller. The roller is provided with a contoured outer surface and the sleeve is made from a thermoset elastomer such that the friction reducing element facilitates positioning of the hanging device, along a clothing rod. Use of the thermoset elastomer also prevents premature development of areas of deformation on the friction reducing element over time. The friction reducing element may be assembled into an upper portion of a hook for a clothes hanger, or other similar hanging device.

Abstract: A T-shirts hanger is provided, comprising a hook member, an inverse V-shaped flexible member, and a pair of shoulder members. The inverse V-shaped flexible member comprises two legs and a cusp portion, and the legs are spread so as to have an inverse V shape without pressure and the legs are closed substantially under a pressure larger than a predetermined magnitude for putting the legs together. The two legs are closed under the pressure larger than the predetermined magnitude so as to be inserted into and retrieved from a neck hole of the T-shirts without stretching the neck hole of the T-shirts.

Abstract: In a combination of an intimate apparel hanger and an indicator for displaying garment-related information, the indicator is mounted to a lower neck region of the hanger where the hanger hook intersects the hanger body. The hanger has a flange, having a sloped surface and an undersurface. The indicator has a resilient tab disposed in a wall of the indicator body. The resilient tab is outwardly displaced by the sloped surface to expand the top opening of the indicator to allow the indicator to pass over the flange. The undersurface of the flange retains the indicator at the lower neck region after the indicator passes over the flange.

Abstract: A device for refreshing fabrics by reducing malodors and/or wrinkles without requiring that the fabrics to be put through an entire standard laundry process. The device comprises an extractable drawer which is pulled out of the device to allow for loading of a fabric into a receiving region. The extractable drawer can then be closed transporting the fabric into the interior of the device. A fabric treatment composition is sprayed or otherwise dispensed onto the fabrics when the device is operated. The device comprises an air flow path and a heating element which allows for the fabrics to be treated during use and comprises a passive heat management system within the shell to minimize formation of hot spots and direct air flow away from the side walls. The extractable drawer of the present invention can be positioned to extract laterally or vertically out of the shell of the device.

The top wall partially encloses the body so as to create a hollow body structure that includes an interior compartment defined by the end walls, side walls, and top wall. The top wall includes an opening formed therethrough for receiving a hook member of the hanger. The opening is defined by a pair of opposing first edges and a pair of opposing second side edges that extend between the first edges. The clip also includes a pair of slots being formed along the first edges and extending toward the end walls. The second edges include a pair of interference sections (detents) where a distance between the second edges is at a minimum.
