Abstract: An improved closet hanger for use to hang clothes on a closet bar in a closet that is more attractive than prior art hangers. The closet hanger has an upper section, having a hook member configured to engage the closet bar and a neck, and a lower section, having a hanger body connected to the neck, that supports the clothes. At least the upper section is made from a transparent acrylic material and has a design element, comprising one or more design objects, incorporated therein that it is visible above the clothes hanging on the hanger body. The clothes hanger can include a design plate attached to or integral with the upper section. The design element can be in the design plate or the design plate can comprise a second design element having a theme corresponding or contrasting the theme of the design element in the hook member and/or neck.

Abstract: A crown sizer for a metal hook hanger. The hanger includes a hook-receiving post having a pair of opposing projections extending outwardly therefrom. The sizer is mounted about the post, and includes a body formed of first and second pairs of opposing sidewalls. Each of the opposing sidewalls in the first pair includes an engagement shoulder on the interior surface thereof, the shoulders being located and sized to engage the projections thereby securing the sizer about the post.

Abstract: A coordinate set hanger has a primary hanger with a first body, a hook extending upward from the first body, a first means for suspending a garment from the first body, and a first connection tab extending downward from the body, operative to releasably suspend a dependent hanger therefrom. A connection link having a locking end at each end thereof, the locking end having at least one snap lock with at least one horizontal surface is releasably attachable to at least a connection tab of a primary hanger. A dependent hanger has a body and a second means for suspending a garment from the second body, and a second connection tab extending upward from the second body. The second connection tab is operative to releasably secure the locking end of the connecting link therein. In other embodiments, the component parts of the coordinate set hanger are modular, or may include a dependent loop for integration with existing hanger stock.

The support mechanism includes a slit extending through at least part of the support mechanism, and one or a plurality of button holes on at least one side of the slit, such that when a garment with one or a plurality of buttons is on the hanger device, a side of the garment with the one or a plurality of buttons extends through the slit so that at least one of the one or a plurality of buttons is inserted through at least one of the one or a plurality of button holes.

The sizer is characterized in having a peripheral wall that defines two open bases to allow the sizer to pass over the hook and at least one protruding boss on an inner part of wall to engage itself onto the hanger and thus block the sizer onto said hanger in a stable manner.

Abstract: A clamp-type garment hanger comprises a main body, a hook, and two clamps. The hook is connected to an upper side of the main body while the clamps are provided at two ends of the main body for clamping and holding an article. Each clamp includes a first jaw and a second jaw that are connected with each other. The first jaw and the second jaw are provided with opposite inner griping surfaces. The first jaw is provided with an arm protruded from the inner griping surface thereof and the arm is disposed with a step part on one side thereof. The second jaw is provided with a hole and an engaging protrusion is disposed at one peripheral side of the hole on the inner griping surface of the second jaw. When the clamp is closed, a tight engagement between the first and second jaws can be formed by inserting the arm into the hole to have the engaging protrusion and the step part engaged with each other for holding an article.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for folding a shirt. More particularly, the apparatus includes a folding plate assembly that includes a center plate, which has a first and second lateral side, a first side plate, which is pivotably connected to the first lateral side of the center plate, and a second side plate, which is pivotably connected to the second side plate of the center plate. The apparatus is designed to fold a shirt when the shirt is placed on the folding plate assembly by folding the first and second side plates backwardly so that the respective side portions of the shirt are folded behind the shirt. A hanger is also provided for hanging a shirt. The hanger is sized and shaped to orient shoulder portions of the shirt so that the lower portion of the shirt expands in a laterally outward direction and thereby inhibits the formation of folds therein.

Abstract: In a combination of an intimate apparel hanger and an indicator for displaying garment-related information, the indicator is mounted to a lower neck region of the hanger where the hanger hook intersects the hanger body. The hanger has a flange, having a sloped surface and an undersurface. The indicator has a resilient tab disposed in a wall of the indicator body. The resilient tab is outwardly displaced by the sloped surface to expand the top opening of the indicator to allow the indicator to pass over the flange. The undersurface of the flange retains the indicator at the lower neck region after the indicator passes over the flange.

A closure is included on the open end so that the clip can be shut when the article is placed between the legs. A hook, extending upward from the upper leg and away from the lower leg, allows the hanger to be placed on a support structure, such as a rod. The hanger can be made of biodegradable material.

This method includes providing a plurality of components positionable on a selected location for establishment of a multi-station decontamination and containment facility to decontaminate personnel and to contain contaminants collected during the decontamination process. The components can include a plurality of collapsible frame and roof assemblies, wall and roof covers, a weapons clearing assembly, a weapons storage locker, a hanging bar, a signage assembly, collapsible containment hamper assemblies, a covered dispensing assembly, a shuffle box, a multi-wipe dispensing assembly, and a transportable containment enclosure. The enclosure is shaped and sized to removably retain the system's components for transportation or the like.

Abstract: A hanger includes first and second holding members, for reversibly grasping a pair of boots, which members are spaced apart from one another along a first axis and along a second axis, the first being approximately orthogonal to the second, and both the first and second being approximately orthogonal to vertical. This spacing allows the pair of boots to be held side-by-side so that a heel portion of one boot of the pair is approximately aligned with an arch portion of the mating boot. The hanger may include a neck and a pair of arms, which extend from the neck to support the holding members, and the neck and arms of the hanger may be formed from a single piece of wire. A holding device may include both the hanger and a covering to fit around the boots held by the hanger.

Abstract: In a lightweight and environmentally friendly pinch grip hanger, the height of the hanger body is reduced to have the upper ends of the jaws of the pinch grip to extend beyond the upper flange of the hanger body. This configuration reduces the weight of the hanger and saves the raw material used to mold the hanger. The hanger is environmentally friendly. The hanger further has an elevated portion formed below a lower neck region of the hanger where the hook of the hanger mounted to the hanger body. The hanger body further has a raised rib extending throughout the entire length of the hanger body.

The crown sizer is provided internally with one or more elastic protrusions which, in an operational stage, engage in the post of the hook, engage under reinforcing struts extending from the post to the body or engage in the hanger body in order to form a clip attachment of the crown sizer.

Abstract: A garment hanger for lingerie. The hanger includes a hook, an elongate body suspended below the hook and engaging members at the ends of the body. Each engaging member includes a one first leg flexibly connected at one end to the body and at the other end to a second leg. As a result the two legs and the body form an S-shape that acts as a spring to maintain tension in front display portion of the garment hung on the hanger. The engaging member also ensures that any excess material of the garment not forming part of the display portion is held out of view at the back.

Abstract: A hanger for suspending multiple articles, such as automotive floor mats, is injection-molded in one piece from a suitable polymer. The hanger has at least four stationary article gripping members and four mobile article gripping members which are fastenable to respective ones of the stationary gripping members. Article-supporting fingers of the stationary gripping members extend horizontally away from the hanger body, two in one direction and two in another. The stationary gripping members are arranged in pairs, with one member in a pair extending in one direction, and the other member of the pair extending in an opposite direction. In one embodiment, a shared structural plate makes up a portion of the “C” channel for each gripping member in the pair.

The hanger has a hook portion and a hanger body. Between the hook portion and the hanger body, a connecting plate part which is a central collar supporting portion body is provided to connect the hook portion and the hanger body. A pair of first curved parts which protrudes toward a rear side of the hanger so as to abut on a rear neck portion of a collar is connected to right and left sides of the connecting plate part. To end portions of the first curved parts, a pair of second curved parts is connected at each distal end thereof. Each base end of the second curved parts is connected to the hanger body. A portion between the distal end and the base end of each of the second curved parts protrudes toward the front side of the hanger so as to abut on an inside of a front portion of the collar.

Abstract: A brassiere holder is presented that includes two cup receiving portions, a connecting portion and a hook portion. When the cup receiving portions are pressed from the side, the connecting portion is elastically deformed to allow the two cup receiving portions to be folded back on each other such that a part of a flange portion of the two cup receiving portions is brought into contact with the other part of the flange portion and a gap gradually increasing toward the upper side is formed between the two cup receiving portions. In this manner, since the cup portions of the brassiere are formed in a shape similar to a shape obtained in a state in which a three-dimensional shape of a breast of a human being is folded into two, the cup portions are positioned as they are under their current state and are put in a soft net bag.

The body includes a top wall that is joined to upper edges of the side walls and end walls. The top wall partially encloses the body so as to create a hollow body structure that includes an interior compartment defined by the end walls, side walls, and top wall. The top wall includes an opening formed therethrough for receiving a hook member of the hanger. The opening is defined by a pair of opposing first edges and a pair of opposing second side edges that extend between the first edges. The clip also includes a pair of slots being formed along the first edges and extending toward the end walls. The second edges include a pair of interference sections (detents) where a distance between the second edges is at a minimum.

The sizer has at least one guide repositioned to engage the guide slot whereupon the sizer can be moved from a first unengaged position to a second engaged position.

Abstract: A garment hanger has a pair of clamping members. Each clamping member comprises a pair of planer end sections and a central curved section attached to the pair of planer end members. The pair of end sections of a first clamping member will touch a corresponding pair of end sections of a second clamping member and the central curved section of the first and second clamping members form an elongated oval when the pair of clamping members is placed together in a closed position. A locking device is attached to the central curved section of the first and second clamping members. The locking device secures the pair of clamping members together. When pressure is applied to the locking device, the locking device forces opens and separates the pair of clamping members. A hook assembly is attached to the locking device.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an air discharge valve assembly for discharging air from the interior of a compressing-and-storing bag to compress and store an item. A main body and a cover of an air discharge valve are mounted to the upper and lower portions of a vacuum storage bag, and a lever is inserted into an internal space and moved up and down to be in close contact with a packing installed between the main body and the cover, thus opening or closing an air passage. The air discharge valve assembly includes the air discharge valve, a hanger assembly and a hanger holding unit. The air discharge valve maximizes sealing ability because of improvements in the structure of the packing and the lever. The hanger assembly includes a hanger body which is rotatably coupled to hanger support parts provided on the upper portion of the main body and a hanger hook rotatably assembled with the hanger body. The hanger holding unit having hanger holding holes is rotatably coupled to the lower portion of the main body.

Garment hangers of this type may be simply constructed as molded plastic structures incorporating a hook adapted to be suspended from a suitable support, such as a garment display rack or the like. The garment hanger has a plurality of elongated body members extending in opposite directions from the hook so as to facilitate a garment to be suspended therefrom. The opposite or distal ends of the elongated body members typically have vertical members attached thereto, and a first set of garment clips formed on the vertical members to enable the attachment of various kinds of garments thereto. The vertical members also have a second set of garment clips formed on the opposite side of the vertical member to permit the garment straps to be secured.

The second and third pairs of garment clips have a first support member and a second support member, each support member having a different thickness. The first support member is substantially flexible and permits deflection of the first support member in a direction into and out of a plane of the body.

The front and rear portions include an open top section and defines a cavity therein. The front portion has a linear slot formed medially therein and extending parallel downwardly along a longitudinal axis of the receptacle. Color-coded sock clips are included for holding paired socks together. The clips are formed from waterproof and heat resistant material such that the socks secured thereto can be laundered in conventional washing and drying machines. The clips are positional along the slot so that the clips and associated socks are vertically stacked in the receptacle. Fastening members are positional through the rear portion and into a wall surface for supporting the receptacle at an elevated position.

Abstract: A universal travel hook including first and second hook members and a connector member which pivotally connects the first and second hook members for rotation about an axis such that when in a closed configuration, the first hook member opens generally in the same direction as the second hook member in side-by-side relationship, and when in an open configuration, the first hook member opens generally in the opposite direction as the second hook member. In one embodiment, the connector is a split ring which pivotally connects to the hook members by extending through a through opening in the proximal end portion of each hook member. The hanger includes a sizer-receiving frame defining at least one sizer-receiving slot for sliding receipt of a substantially flat and planar sizer. In one preferred embodiment, the sizer is formed from paper. The sizer-receiving frame may be positioned within a notch defined between the junction of the body and the base portion of the hook. Alternatively, the sizer-receiving frame may be positioned at the upper portion of the hook.

Abstract: Garment refreshing hangers incorporate activated charcoal, a proven odor absorbing material, into the body of the hanger. Garments such as a jacket are hung on the hanger in the traditional manner. The garment areas susceptible to odor producing body areas like the neck and armpits are placed in close proximity to the activated charcoal in the hanger. The activated charcoal absorbs the odors thus removing them from the garment. Provision is made for charcoal replacement upon consumption. Preferably, the charcoal includes activated carbon impregnated porous sheet material.
