Abstract: A method for storing and displaying footwear including, without limitation, flip-flops and thong-type sandals, as well as other loose items, is provided. An elongate central body, such as a length of ribbon or other similar structure, having a number of upwardly facing hooks—typically combined in pairs—arrayed along the length of the central body, is suspended from a support. Sandals and other loose items are hung on the hooks.

Abstract: The finding concerns a clothes hanger with fold-away hook. Therein, in that the base of the hook, on one side is connected to the arched body through a flexible tongue, which allows the aforementioned hook to elastically twist, in particular to rotate by 90° and more, from vertical to horizontal and vice versa, or else from perpendicular to parallel on the arched body, whereas on the opposite side said base is equipped with a fastening system that, in the operative step, holds the hook on the body, so that, when the hook is lifted, the clothes hanger takes up the typical configuration, the normal function and has the same strength as a common clothes hanger with fixed hook.

The lower neck sizer also has a discontinuity traversing the height of the body to facilitate mounting on the hanger.

Abstract: A molded garment hanger (10, 110) having the form of a generally planar unitary item with a hook (14, 114) or eye integral with a pair of hanger arms (12, 112), said hanger being composed of a single constituent material that is either bagasse or empty palm tree fruit bunches (EFB) that has been subjected to wet process thermoforming by which the material's moisture content is removed (e.g. extracted and/or expressed) whilst the material is subjected to a molding pressure and is being dried, said process providing the molded hanger as a lightweight mono-layer construction, i.e. with an overall weight less than 45 g (preferably of the order of 25 g to 35 g), with a mono-layer thickness less than 1.5 mm (preferably in the range 1 mm to 1.5 mm), and such as to be rapidly biodegradable, i.e. to be capable of total bio-degradation by composting in less than 12 weeks.

Abstract: A hat hanging device with a central vertically elongate member, a left and a right hat hanger support member, a plurality of hat retaining assemblies, a hanger bar attachment member and a hanger bar attachment retaining clip. The hanger bar attachment member connects to the central member and is held in place by the retaining clip. The hanger support members are each attached to the right and left side of the central elongate member. The hanger support members slope downward from the central elongate member at approximately a thirty degree angle. The hat retaining assemblies each include a post topped by a spherical member. A hat bill retaining spring clip is attached to the bottom of each post. The spherical members are rotatably retained by apertures located in the side wall of the hanger support members.

Abstract: In a combination of a garment hanger and a reusable indicator for displaying garment-related information, the indicator can be attached to and removed from a lower neck region of the hanger where a hanger post intersects the hanger body. The hanger includes an indicator retaining member for providing indicator retaining interference with the indicator to retain the indicator at the lower neck region. The hanger further includes structure for providing pivots upon which the indicator can be flexed to remove the indicator from the hanger. The indicator can include a discontinuity for admitting a hanger hook and assisting deformation of the indicator. The indicator can be deformed along the discontinuity to remove the indicator from the hanger.

Abstract: A novel hanger apparatus and associated system for connecting multiple hangers together as a space saving technique is disclosed herein. Many additional features are provided to improve a garment hanger design such as a rib configured to a frame for added strength. Also, a lower cross bar is constructed with a slight bow so that additional weight can be placed on the hanger without the adverse affects of deflection. Also according to a preferred embodiment, a half elliptical shape is providing to the lower cross bar to prevent creasing to pants folded over the cross bar. A hanger system disclosed herein includes apertures configured correctly within the hanger frame so that multiple hangers can be coupled together. Additionally, apertures are configured so that when second and third hangers are coupled side by side to a first hanger, the respective apertures of the second and third hangers will line up so that a fourth and further subsequent hangers can be coupled thereto.

Abstract: A family of space savings storage devices for hanging, storing and removal of any item that can be hung in a vertical plane from an appropriate hanger hook is disclosed. The devices consist of a pair of downwardly diverging legs forming either an inverted V-shaped or U-shaped receiver. The fixed angle of divergence of the legs ranges from 60 to 120 degrees. In one embodiment that angle can be varied. On the undersides of the legs are attached sockets from which items can be hung using appropriate hooks attached to the body of a hanger. The spacing of the sockets can be equal or variable. Increased spacing on the lower segments of the legs for the inverted U-shaped receiver, where the legs are nearly vertical, prevents hung items which are generally bulkier at the top, or hanger components which also can be bulky from interfering with each other as the spacing can be adjusted to allow such parts to lay one above the other.

Abstract: An adjustable garment hanger including an overhead suspension element and a pair of hanger arms extending outwardly from a central housing. Arm inclination is adjustable relative to fabric being supported so as to minimize wrinkling deformation. Arms may collapse immediately downwardly on pivots to a generally vertical mode releasing the garment via its neckline opening. A central, flexible spring element includes ledges latching arms in a first, garment supporting position. When the spring element is driven upwardly or downwardly by twisting the suspension element in a mutually threaded boss, the ledges slightly adjust the arms upward or downward. Quick release tabs may be provided at an upper end of the spring element such that, when manually pressed, the ledges instantly withdraw allowing the arms to collapse and release the garment. With garment weight removed, springs attached to the arms act to bias their return to garment supporting position each collapse.

Abstract: A collapsible hanger has a pair of hanger arms for supporting an article of clothing. Each arm has a proximal end pivotally mounted on a frame. A gear mechanism engages gear teeth on the proximal end of the arms and causes the arms to simultaneously rotate between a raised position to a lowered position. A locking mechanism locks the arms in the raised position and when the locking mechanism is released, allows the arms to drop down to a collapsed position, releasing the article of clothing.

The clothing item has a free-hanging length and defines an upper portion configured to be worn over an upper body of a wearer and a lower portion configured to be worn over a lower body of the wearer. Abstract: A hanger for body armor includes a base with a pair of arms extending in opposite directions from one another. Each arm has a longitudinal channel along the length of the arm. In each arm is at least one retainer slidably moveable along the length of the arm along the longitudinal channel. The retainer is a resiliently flexible clip or clasp, such as a binder clip. An elastomeric strap is attached between the arms allowing at least one arm to be removably attached to the base. A hook is fixed relative to the base allowing the hanger to be hung from a structure.

Abstract: An elliptical garment hanger simulates a garment wearer's shoulder and upper chest and back so as to prevent hanger bumps on garments. An elliptical base separates the front and rear of a garment to improve airflow for garment drying. An upper portion of the elliptical garment hanger includes a garment support surface positioned above the elliptical base. This garment support surface comprises an elliptical arc section that curves downwardly and smoothly simulates shoulders. The garment support surface is supported at its center such that the terminal ends thereof can flex to prevent formation of bumps, as can occur with ordinary clothes hangers. Clips on the inside of the hanger can hold straps and other items. A separable hook can be used to lower tooling cost and allow nesting storage of the hanger.

The body further has a locking slit formed therein proximate the first end and a locking tab formed at the second end for reception within the locking slit to form a continuous, folded strap body that captures the first and second articles of clothing for holding thereof at a first location. The display strap has a flag portion that extends upwardly from the top edge of the body and includes an opening formed therein for receiving a fastener that couples the first and second articles of clothing together at a second location that is spaced from the first location.

The clothes rod hook includes an arcuate portion for hanging from a clothes rod having a circular cross-section. The U shaped portion of the hanger receiving member can slidably engage with the inverted U shaped portion of the pants hanging member to removably retain the pair of pants.

The two parts are connected flexibly and the loop may be adjusted to alter its separation from a rail. The device allows more garments to be hung from a single rail than previously was possible and is particularly useful in the transport and storage of garments in shops, warehouses and factories. Two devices may be interlocked across a handler's shoulders.
