The adapter plate comprises a substantially planar adapter body, a spaced pair of generally parallel upper for removably securing said adapter assembly to equipment, and a spaced pair of lower legs having a spaced pair of lower tines configured to have a gap there between, wherein the lower tines each comprise a ratchet tooth structure on an exterior surface thereof. The retainer is configured for slideable attachment to the lower tines and for spanning the gap between the lower tines, the retainer comprising a corresponding ratchet tooth on an interior surface thereof configured to engage with the ratchet tooth structure for a one-way slideable locking engagement of the retainer on the lower tines.

The proximal end of a strap includes a mounting pin for sliding into and out of a slot on the central piece. The proximal end of the strap further includes a positioning curve which mates with a correspondingly shaped receiving curve on the central piece when the strap is properly affixed and centered on the central piece. When properly affixed and centered on the central piece, the positioning curve on the strap aligns with the receiving curve of the central piece, so that the positioning and receiving curves are at their lowest energy state, resisting lateral movement out of a centered position.

Abstract: A handgun holster with an accessory mounting block and a holster locking device are disclosed. The holster locking device may be mounted on the holster. The holster locking device includes a member for securing a rear end of a handgun. The holster locking device includes a frame. The interior surface of the frame may comprise first and second guide members such that the first and second guide members may be disposed in first and second guide grooves in the holster accessory mounting block. Also disclosed is a passage in the frame. A cantilever on the holster accessory mounting block may be disposed in the passage to engage the frame and lock the handgun holster to the holster locking device.

The backpack frame includes a plurality of stays having flexible joints therebetween. Load carrying devices may be provided and are releasably mounted to the frame assembly. The distance between the assembly's shoulder straps and hip belt can be adjusted to accommodate user's having different torso lengths by using an adjuster sheet to separate hook and look members attaching a shoulder strap assembly to a frame assembly. The adjuster sheet can operate as a support element when not operating as an adjuster. The adjuster sheet can be constructed of a laminated composite material and include reinforcing ribs formed therein.

The user manually moves the first forward projecting lever and second forward projecting lever in a downward motion, which in turn raises the first rear lever and second rear lever in an upward motion through the combined assistance of a first fulcrum and second fulcrum. Once the first rear lever and second rear lever lift upward, a backpack or baby pack will be forced upward and ultimately into a more comfortable position as weight burden is alleviated from the back and shoulders.

The front end portion and the base portion can be proximate to and remote from each other. A recess includes a pocket having an opening that receives the flange. The opening in the pocket is larger than the second end of the flange to facilitate receiving the flange within the pocket. The opening in the pocket and the first end of the flange are about the same size which restricts the lateral movement of the flange in the recess. First and second connecting member attach the mounting panel to the container.

A stiff tab (60) is sewn at one end thereof into the sewn connection of the body of the carrier to the sleeve. The other end of the tab (64) is unattached and overlapped by the sleeve when the sleeve is wrapped around the belt for supporting the carrier from the belt. The carrier can be moved along the belt and placed in different positions unless the free end of the tab is inserted through a loop on the belt in which case the carrier will be fixed in position with respect to the belt.

Furthermore, the device may include a biasing member that has a first and second length, such as a spring, whereas the biasing member would, in its first position, contribute to the contact of the movable latch member and hollow casing creating an enclosure for an associated ring to be securely held.

A clip is provided for securing the apparatus on a belt or other object.

The locking device is implemented by a recess and a lug respectively positioned between one of the rails and ridges and between the other of the rails and ridges. A slit surrounds the lug while the lug is connected to one side of the wall of the slit and elastically deformable toward and away from the recess. The recess and lug mate with each other when the engaging portion is slid into the guide.

In addition, each hook element is rotatably positionable to permit the user to independently position each tool in a comfortable fashion.
