Abstract: A sling support apparatus is provided for mounting about an individual, wherein the apparatus includes an elongate flexible cord mounting a pulley plate member, with the pulley plate member mounting a pulley therewithin to capture the flexible cord between a pulley and a support mount, wherein the support mount rotatably mounts a lower support mount to secure a separable fastener thereto, wherein the separable fastener mounts a support cord, and the support cord including opposed rings to secure binoculars and the like thereto. A spring biased clip, including a spaced jaws of serrated teeth is also provided and mounted to a second cord for securement to the support cord and mounting to an individual's support belt to position the organization to the individual's torso.

Abstract: A frame structure for carrying a drum or other object in front of a person has a front support member engaging two substantially parallel side support members extending generally horizontally along the waist of a person, and is supported by the hips of a person. A back member, attached to the side support members, engages the back thoracic region of a wearer and provides a counteracting force to keep a drum or other carried article in a desired position. The back member includes a pair of telescoping lengthwise adjustable back support members terminating in a hinge point at a back plate. The back plate is provided with arcuate slots through which attaching bolts engage a flanged member of each of the back support members. This arrangement allows the angle between the two back support members to be adjusted in order to adjust the distance between the side members along the back of the person.

Abstract: A quick-release connecting apparatus for mounting an object on a belt includes male and female members, respectively attachable to the object and the belt-mountable holder. The female member has a generally U-shaped receptacle formed therein which opens at a peripheral edge of the female member, and an aperture formed in the front surface of the female member which is aligned with but smaller than the receptacle and communicates therewith. The male member has a stud projecting therefrom with a circular button at its distal end which is too large to pass through the aperture but is dimensioned to be receivable in the receptacle from its open end with the stud disposed through the aperture and is rotabale about the axis of the stud while disposed in the receptacle. A yieldable detent projects from the female member into the entrance of the receptacle so as to be deflectable by the button to permit insertion thereof in any position into the receptacle.

Abstract: A nail and screw pouch and tool holder assembly includes one or more slidable belt-attached pouch holders with slots through which a belt passes, worn by the user. Each pouch holder, which may be of leather so as to be relatively stiff, has a pouch hanger member formed of a generally horizontal rigid bar or rail with a plurality of depending U-shaped sections, each for supporting and locating a clip from which a pouch or tool holder hangs.

Abstract: This invention provides a fruit picker's bag (10) including a support frame (20) having a top hoop with a rear section (22) with opposite ends, a strap eye (16, 18) at each of the ends, a forward section (24) extending from one end of the rear section (22) over to the opposite end which together with the rear section (22) defines a hoop opening, and brace portion (26) which extends generally vertically downwardly from the rear section (22). A fruit-receiving bag body (30) is detachably connected to the support frame (20). The bag has upper and lower ends and a rear wall portion (36) which includes a pocket (34) at the upper end for receiving the brace portion (26) of the support frame (20). A forward wall portion (40) includes a hook strip (38) connected at the upper end. The hook strip (38) includes a downwardly opening hook channel (50) which is hookable onto the forward section (24) of the top hoop. A carrying harness (14) includes a strap which extends through each of the strap eyes (16, 18).

Abstract: A beverage container assembly pivotably attachable to a person's clothing (e.g. his belt) so the liquid can be poured from the container by tilting the assembly in a forward direction. The closure for the liquid container can be used as a drinking cup.

Abstract: This invention consists of a protaging kit which provides a device for carrying a canoe in an upright position, whereby, making it possible to carry some cargo in the canoe during portages. The kit consists of two identical handles which are secured to the tips of the bow and stern of the canoe to provide a lifting point for persons portaging the canoe.

Abstract: A support for a fish landing net comprises a pouch of such size as to accommodate the net and having a mouth through which the net may pass into and out of the pouch. The mouth constantly is maintained in an open position by a stiffeningmember. The pouch may be permanently or removably secured to the back of a fisherman's garment.

Abstract: An attachment device for enabling an article to releasably be secured on a person has a stud, a plate member and co-operating portions on the stud and the plate member. The stud includes a part circular flange with a flat portion along its periphery. The plate member includes a lead-in channel extending from an edge of the plate member towards an opposite edge of the plate member, a part-circular reception portion extending from the channel, and a tongued portion extending from the reception portion in the direction of the reception portion but spaced apart from the reception portion. The stud and the plate member are engageable and dis-engageable by a sliding action. The co-operating portions allow the stud and plate member to rotate and to be held together until they are subjected to a dis-engaging sliding action exceeding a predetermine value.

Abstract: An automobile beverage holding device that is meant to be clipped onto an opened rear or front ashtray or a glove compartment door when fully opened. The apparatus is designed to provide clearance of overlapping trim in certain auto ashtray styles. The user may position the device slot assembly and cup receptable to a desired position at arms reach while seated either in the front seat or rear seat of an automobile.

Abstract: A keyboard carrier having a brace and plate assembly attachable over the shoulders and along the belt line of a wearer, which comprises a u-shaped bracket extending from and connected by its legs to the brace and plate assembly, spaced apart arms each secured at its end to one leg of the bracket, a finger at an end of each arm, and a platform supported by the arms and secured to the fingers. The platform is adapted for mounting a keyboard thereon and has a plurality of friction pins extending therethrough arranged for securement to the keyboard. The platform may also have rod means adapted for pivotal securement in cooperating slots arranged in the arms.
