Abstract: A holder for a pager, handy phone or similar portable apparatus includes a body for removably receiving the apparatus and a clip removably mounted to the body. A guide is formed on one surface of the body and includes a pair of parallel rails. An engaging portion is included in the clip and includes a pair of ridges slidingly engageable with the rails. A locking device is provided on the guide and engaging portion for selectively locking or unlocking them to or from each other. The locking device is implemented by a recess and a lug respectively positioned between one of the rails and ridges and between the other of the rails and ridges. A slit surrounds the lug while the lug is connected to one side of the wall of the slit and elastically deformable toward and away from the recess. The recess and lug mate with each other when the engaging portion is slid into the guide.

The device (10) includes a receptacle body (12) and corresponding flanged lug fastener (11) which is attached to the mobile phone or like apparatus. The receptable body (12) is adapted to be attached to a belt or the like by means of a clip (14) positioned on the receptable body (12). The body (12) has an opening (25) located at its top side portion into which the flange of the lug fastener (11) is received with the lug fastener (11) extending through a slot (27) on the receptable body (12) communicating with the opening (25) such that the mobile phone or like apparatus is positioned outside and adjacent the receptacle body (12) when the lug fastener (11) is received within the receptacle body (12).

Abstract: A paint container system for attachment to a person that maintains a substantially vertical position regardless of the position of the person. The inventive device includes a tubular belt adapter for removably attaching to a conventional hip belt, a shaft having a flanged end extending from the belt adapter, a container having a receiver aperture within an upper portion for removably receiving the shaft, and a bracket having a pair of resilient clips attached thereto for attaching within the container. The container preferably has four side walls, a floor and an upper open end. An extended portion from the container includes the receiver aperture for receiving the shaft of the belt adapter. The container swivels upon the shaft of the belt adapter during use thereby maintaining the container in a substantially vertical position at all times regardless of the position of the user. The bracket for supporting a paintbrush is positionable about the upper rim of the container in any desired located.

Abstract: A square tool with tape measure includes a triangular housing with flat opposite sides and three edges forming a right-angled corner and two acute-angled corners. A groove is arranged along an entire length of each of the edges to enable the tool to be easily grasped and lifted. A measuring tape arranged within the housing is retractable flush into one of the corners. The tape is lockable in any extended position with a locking tab recessed into one of the edges. A bubble level is arranged within a window on the housing for indicating the horizontal position. A pencil holder is attached to one of the edges for holding a pencil. A pencil sharpener is provided for sharpening the pencil. A pair of guide rails arranged along opposite sides of one of the edges can be used for aligning the tool with a work piece. The tool may be clipped to a user's clothing with a belt clip attached to a side of the housing. In alternative embodiments, the belt clip is retractable and extendable.

Abstract: A releasable holder for a portable communication device including a base clip adapted to secure to a carrier such as a belt and an article clip adapted to secure to the portable communication device. The base clip includes a channel having a bottom and side walls extending between open opposite ends with overlying flanges on both side walls spaced a selected distance from the channel bottom, and a locking tab extending into an opening in the channel bottom, a biasing member biasing the locking tab into the channel bottom opening. The base clip is securable to the carrier with the channel in a generally horizontal orientation. Two user engageable release tabs adjacent the channel opposite ends are adapted to move the locking tab against the biasing of the biasing member responsive to movement of one release tab toward the other.

Abstract: A rigid frame tool belt assembly for suspending one or more multiple tool holders. The rigid frame tool belt assembly holds the tool holders out and away from a workman's body. The belt assembly allows for free and unobstructed movement of the body when wearing the belt assembly. The belt assembly includes a belt with attached rigid frame. The belt is secured around the workman's waist. The belt is of a wide padded design for the workman's comfort while supporting the weight of the tool holders from the rigid frame. The belt also has a quick attach and detach buckle with male and female members. The male and female members are releasably attached to extension straps. The straps are attached to opposite ends of the belt. The length of the extension straps is adjustable, from the belt to the male and female members, therefore allowing adjustment for different workman waist sizes. The rigid frame is also adjustable in size for different workman waist sizes.

The securement system also has a holster mount capable of being rigidly connected to the holster. An engagement member selectively detachably interconnects the body and the holster mount. The engagement member rigidly connects the holster mount to the body when engaged, and the engagement member enables the body and the holster mount to be selectively movable with respect to each other when disengaged.

Abstract: A holster supports a shotgun in an opened condition at a shooter's side. A pair of rods extend between front and rear walls. The rear wall has a tongue for mounting the holster proximate the shooter's waist. The walls are spaced to receive the pivotally connected barrel and stock portions of the shotgun therebetween so as to prevent the shotgun from sliding off the rods. The rods are spaced by a distance less than the distance between the breach sides of the forearm and the trigger guard of the shotgun in the closed condition and greater than the combined heights of the forearm and the trigger guard so that, when the barrel and stock portions are at rest on the rods, the weight of the barrel portion causes the breach side of the trigger guard to engage against the rod on which the stock portion rests so as to prevent forward rotation of the shotgun off the rods while the weight of the barrel portion prevents rearward rotation of the shogun off the rods.

The molded plastic base unit, with radius curvature shape to the contours of a person's forearm, is mounted to the support strap using plastic rivets. A flashlight fits into the semi-circular portion of the upper part of the flashlight holder. It is attached to the base unit by utilizing a male-sided quick-release buckle with a dual push button release mechanism, which attaches to the base unit. The flashlight holder locks securely into the forearm mounted base unit to provide for a hands-free quick-release flashlight holder system.

Abstract: A load supporting waist belt comprising four separate articulated sections including front and rear belt straps and right and left hip pieces with adjustable connectors on the front and rear belt straps allowing adjustment for waist size and location of hip sections squarely on the wearer's hips. The hip pieces are stiff members capable of supporting tool hangers, pouches and the like and are provided with accompanying hip pads for contacting the wearer's hips. Brackets are used to lower the load attachment points to a position below the waist and in the area of the connection of the thigh bone to the hip of the wearer. A slide bar release mechanism is disclosed for detachably connecting loads to the support pivots. A shoulder harness is connected at pivotal anchor points on each hip section.

Abstract: An adjustable carrier for a tool, weapon, or other holsterable object to be attached to any support, including a belt or body harness. The adjustment capability permits the carrier to be clamped in a rigid tilted position as chosen by the wearer of the harness. The adjustment is accomplished by having a pair of vertical spaced and substantially parallel slots and a lower horizontal slot with vertical saw teeth along all shoulders forming the latter slot. Tightenable connectors fit through the vertical slots and another tightenable connector carrying a saw tooth washer positively engages complemental portions of the saw teeth along the shoulders. One or more other spaced openings or slots have a tightenable bolt disposed to attach to threaded connectors. The openings provide for both vertical and/or horizontal adjustments, including tilt or cant, for adjusting the position of the carrier with respect to the holsterable object to suit the user.

Abstract: A belt holder for portable phones is disclosed. In the holder, the cover plate has a horizontal guide opening at its middle portion, with a guide channel being formed at the top center of the cover plate. A clip plate is assembled with the cover plate into a housing of the holder. A locker is vertically and movably set in the holder at a position between the cover and clip plates so as to be vertically movable in the gap between the two plates. The locker has two inclined guide portions at both side edges with the two inclined guide portions being converged downwardly. Two locking pieces are symmetrically and movably seated in the horizontal guide opening of the cover plate. The two locking pieces cooperate with both the locking button of a portable phone at their first slope surfaces and the inclined guide portions of the locker at their second slope surfaces.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a wearable tray assembly particularly designed for those who stock shelves or perform similar tasks. The device includes a circular, continuous padded waistband having an elongated, integral slot on its front portion. The waistband is supported around a person's abdomen using a pair of adjustable shoulder straps. A planar, substantially rectangular tray member is received within the slot for supporting items, such as a shipping carton, immediately adjacent a user's abdomen. The tray member preferably has at least one retaining wall vertically depending from a peripheral edge to prevent the carton from shifting. Alternatively, a box shaped container member may be attached to the waistband by inserting a pair of opposing, horizontally extending attachment arms into the slot. The tray and container member are supported in a horizontal position using a leg brace removably attached to their respective lower surfaces at one end and to the waistband at a second end.

Abstract: A quick release connector system is provided for interconnecting a frequently used portable accessory item with a support body. The system utilizes a clasp having a back wall spaced apart from a stationary wall. The stationary wall includes an enlarged opening from which extends a slot. A deflectable wall overlies the enlarged opening. A connector part forms the quick release connection with the clasp. It is attached to the portable accessory item via a post with an enlarged head. The post has a diameter less than the width of the slot and the head has a diameter greater than the width of the slot, but less than the enlarged opening. When the deflectable wall is flexed away from the enlarged opening, the head of the connector part will pass through the opening and slide behind the slot as the post is moved into the slot. The enlarged head behind the slot will prevent axial disengagement.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for holding firearm cartridges, such as shotgun shells, and other related accessories. The system may be utilized on wearing apparel such as hunting vests and belts, on structures such as duck boats and blinds, or on vehicles. The system has a rack portion that may be permanently secured to such apparel, structures, or vehicles. Attachable to the rack portion are rigid receivers with cylindrical bores sized to a particular size of cartridge. Each cylindrical bore has a tab extending inwardly into the cylindrical bore that provides an interference fit with the cartridges to secure the cartridges in place. The receiver and the rack portion have cooperating sliding engagement members to removably secure the receivers to the rack portion. The sliding engagement members on the rack portion are arranged on a plurality of sequential segments with breaks between each sequential segment.

Abstract: A fishing rod holder useful in securing a fishing rod to a boat, pier or other support structure includes an elongated tubular housing and a bracket upon which the housing may be removably seated. The bracket has a shepherd's hook upper configuration useful for gripping horizontal support structures. The housing has a pair of axially spaced apart first eyelets which hold straps useful in securing the rod holder to vertical support structures.

Abstract: A system for carrying containers suspended from a track member which may be attached to a body encircling belt or attached to clothing which includes a pair of protruding tracks substantially parallel and from which the containers for holding articles are suspended by clips on the containers which are attachable to the tracks anywhere along the lengths thereof or positionable lengthwise on the tracks by sliding thereon at tapered ends of the tracks and is particularly useful for police and military personnel in carrying weapons, ammunition and the like holstered articles. This system includes a clamp for locking the container in place on the tracks to prevent the container from sliding along the tracks to an undesired position and inhibiting forceful unintended removal of the clip and container from the tracks without removal of the clamp.

Abstract: A mobile telephone hanging device which includes a base plate, a clamping plate hinged to the base plate for fastening it to the user's belt, a hanging plate fixedly secured to the mobile telephone and having a grooved hanging rod for fastening to the base plate, the base plate having a smoothly curved rib for hanging the hanging rod of the hanging plate and an elongated movable plate for stopping the hanging rod of the hanging plate in the engaged position, and two push rods controlled to release the elongated movable plate from the hanging rod of the hanging plate for permitting the hanging plate to be disconnected from the base plate.

Abstract: A holder assembly for cellular phones is disclosed. The holder assembly allows a cellular phone to be smoothly rotated around a holding button in either direction when a user, having the phone on his belt, is seated and presses against the top end of the phone. Therefore, the holder assembly allows the phone to be almost free from pressing against a user's body when the user is seated. The holder assembly overloads or tensions neither the clip of the holder nor a user's belt, thereby allowing the clip to be free from being deformed and the user's belt to be free from being unexpectedly torn. The holding button may be attached to a cellular phone or a phone case.

Abstract: A holder for cellular phones is disclosed. In the case of a case-separated holder, the holder of this invention has an elastic member and elastically holds a phone case, thus allowing a cased cellular phone to be easily and simply handled by one hand when the phone is held on or removed from the holder. The above case-separated holder also limits the rotating angle of the cased cellular phone relative to the holder, thus preventing a sudden separation of the cellular phone from the phone case. In the case of a case-integrated holder, the holder has a means for limiting the rotating angle of a phone case relative to the holder, thus allowing the phone case to be rotated freely or within a limited angle relative to the holder. The case-integrated holder thus prevents the cased cellular phone from pressing a part of a user's body when a user sits on a chair, and prevents the holder from being deformed by a tensile force.

Abstract: A tool support apparatus is provided for supporting a hand-held tool, particularly a pneumatic tool, connected to a line, such as a pneumatic line, from a waistbelt of a user of the tool. The tool support apparatus includes a holder attachable to a waistbelt and a pivotally movable support plate attached to the holder. The support plate defines a recessed and open-sided passage therethrough for receiving an adapter attached in-line between a hand-held tool and operatively connected line. The adapter defines a central passage therethrough between opposing first and second open ends. The first open end is adapted for attachment to a hand-held tool, such as a pneumatic tool, and the second open end is adapted for attachment to a line, such as a pneumatic line, whereby the line is in gaseous communication with the tool through the central passage of the adapter.

Abstract: A carrying device which is used together with a mobile station and with which the mobile station can be attached to a target and detached from the place of attachment and re-attached to it. The attachment device comprises a support stud (2) attached to a mobile station (10) and a carrying device (1) attached to a target by way of an attachment element (5), including gripping elements for a detachable grip on the support stud. The gripping elements of the carrying device comprise guide grooves (8) for the reception of the support stud (2) and a tongue (7) moving transversely (6) against the plane (4) of the guide grooves and held by a spring (13) in a locking position (L) extending across the plane of the guide grooves. The carrying device has a hand-operated slide (27) which includes an element (12) to force the tongue against a spring force (F) off the position extending across the plane of the guide grooves, thereby moving it into a release position (R) which releases the support stud.

Abstract: A fastening for securing an apparatus, such as a pager or a mobile telephone, to a belt is disclosed. The fastening includes a body, a board and a flexure strip attached to the apparatus. The body defines a recess in a front portion thereof for receiving the flexure strip and has a plurality of ratchet teeth uniformly distributed at two opposed sides of a rear portion thereof. The board is movably received in the rear portion of the body and has pawls integrally formed thereon for engaging with respective pair of the ratchet teeth. The pawls has a press bar integrally formed therebetween and a hook is integrally formed at a rear end of the board for abutting the belt. By this arrangement, a space is defined between the board and the back of the apparatus, which can be adjusted and adapted for receiving different belts with various widths. Also, the direction of each ratchet tooth is configured to enable the board to move only toward the front portion of the body so that the belt can be securely gripped.

Abstract: An attachment system for coupling an object such as a small pouch or case or a tool or flashlight to a belt, backpack, knapsack, vest or the like. The attachment system includes a tab which is sewn to the belt, backpack or etc . . . and which has an elevated region defining a key-like opening. The system also includes a coupling member having a key-like structure which may be inserted into the opening in the tab member, and which may be rotated between a position wherein the coupling member is secured to the tab member and a second position wherein the coupling member may be detached from the tab member. The coupling member may be attached to a pouch or small case. In another embodiment, the coupling member can releasably attach the shaft of a tool or flashlight.

Abstract: A mobile telephone fastening includes a cramping member and a gripping member. The cramping member has a base attached to a back of the mobile telephone and a buckle integrally extending from the base. The buckle has two opposed long edges and two opposed short edges. The gripping member includes an enclosure with a longitudinal recess, a press button received in the enclosure, a swing plate pivotedly engage with the enclosure, and an inverted-U-shaped flexure strip. The longitudinal recess has a circular space defined at a lower portion thereof. The swing plate has a protrusion extending into the longitudinal recess of the enclosure. In operation, the two opposed short edges of the buckle can be inserted into the recess and urge the protrusion of the swing plate to retract. When the buckle reaches the circular space of the recess and force applied on the protrusion by the buckle is removed, the protrusion will restore to project beyond the enclosure.

Abstract: A belt supported tool holder for operably securing a tool onto a belt, comprising: a first support element having slots for adjustably positioning the first support element on a belt. The first support element includes a flat planar front surface and a flat planar rear surface. A mounting plate element is fixably secured to the first support element and includes a substantially planar upper surface and a substantially planar lower surface. Screws, bolts, rivets or other fastening elements are used for securing the mounting plate element to the first support element. A hook shaped retaining member is secured to the mounting plate element and a back support element is fixably secured to the flat planar rear surface of the first support element and to the mounting plate element. A detachable hook is provided for attachment to the tool and to the hook shaped retaining member.

Abstract: A swivel holder is disclosed herein having a base member detachably carried from a belt, auto dash-board, wall surface or the like for releasably supporting an item or article of personal use. The article is provided with a stud and the base member includes guide rails defining a receptacle for insertably receiving the stud and for holding the stud in rotatable or swivelling relationship. A resilient catch member retains the stud in swivelling position on the base member and a finger latch mechanism controls the catch member for retention or release of the stud.

Abstract: A quick-releasing pivoting support for a line trimmer, which includes the use of a detachable interconnection such as a ball-and-socket to at least partially support the weight of a line trimmer while still allowing pivoting of the trimmer. In the case of an emergency, the trimmer may be simply lifted upwardly while still keeping both hands on the trimmer and quickly discarded by the operator.

Abstract: A fixing apparatus for a portable telephone includes an engaging device connected to the portable telephone, a socket for detachably receiving the engaging device, and a cramp connected to the socket for fixing itself and the socket on an objective body such as a belt. The engaging device is allowed to slide in the socket and may be manually made to turn substantially ninety-degrees in the socket thereby being located in place in the socket. When the engaging device is located in place in the socket, it may be manually made to turn ninety-degrees in the socket and may be manually pulled to slide out from the socket.

Abstract: An attachment system for coupling an object such as a small pouch or case or a tool or flashlight to a belt, backpack, knapsack, vest or the like. The attachment system includes a tab which is sewn to the belt, backpack or etc. . . and which has an elevated region defining a key-like opening. The system also includes a coupling member having a key-like structure which may be inserted into the opening in the tab member, and which may be rotated between a position wherein the coupling member is secured to the tab member and a second position wherein the coupling member may be detached from the tab member. The coupling member may be attached to a pouch or small case. In another embodiment, the coupling member can releasably attach the shaft of a tool or flashlight.

Abstract: A fastening device for mobile phones includes a mounting plate, a fastening plate and a mounting frame. The mounting plate has one side thereof provided a pair of mounting rails defining a mounting track therebetween and the other side thereof provided with a pair of fastening strips defining a track therebetween. The fastening plate is slightly curved and has a substantially T-shaped fastening rib for insertion into the mounting track. The mounting frame consists of a frame with a through hole; a circular post is provided on a rear side of the frame and is further connected to a circular plate of a larger diameter. The circular plate may fit into the track between the fastening strips so that the mounting frame may turn relative to the mounting plate.

The belt assembly, which is to be secured to the user's shoulder, consists of an upper jacket, a lower apron and a pair of Velcro hook and loop fastener pieces. The swivel assembly, which is mounted on the upper jacket by way of fastening screws, consists of a mounting piece and an erecting rod. The telephone holder assembly, which is designed for holding a telephone, consists of a pair of side plates equipped with a set of bolts, spring pieces and an hexagonal nut. With this mounting device for mobile telephones, users can talk on the telephone without having to hold on to it.

The slots and the head cooperate to releasably lock the clip thereunto.

Abstract: A video camera carrying case has an accessory accommodating portion with a reinforcing member detachably fastened to a video camera accommodating portion by a fastening member. The tightness with which the accessory accommodating portion is fastened to the video camera accommodating portion is changed by the fastening member, thereby improving the portability of the video camera carrying case.

Abstract: A quick-release connecting apparatus for detachably interconnecting two objects includes male and female members, respectively attachable to the objects. The female member has a generally U-shaped receptacle formed therein which opens at a peripheral edge thereof, and an aperture formed in the front surface of the female member which is aligned with but smaller than the receptacle and communicates therewith. The male member has a stud projection therefrom with a part-circular head at its distal end which is too large to pass through the aperture but is dimensioned to be received in the receptacle from its open end with the stud disposed through the aperture and is rotatable about the axis of the stud while disposed in the receptacle. A spring-biased pawl is mounted on the female member for movement between a locking position projecting into the entrance of the receptacle and a release position out of the entrance.

Abstract: The invention consists of a water craft portaging device which includes a pair of graft engaging yokes adapted to engage the bow and stern of a craft in the upright position and be coupled thereto, a first elongated belt adapted to receive one axial extremity of elongated poles adapted to be axially slidably received through spaced parallel tubular sleeves on the yokes. A second sectional adjustable belt adapted to be worn around the neck and shoulders of a person for portaging, the extremities being both adjustable and attachable by looping to the other axial extremity of the elongated poles. The second belt being further adaptable to being worn across the small of the back of a seated person with the loops adjusted to receive the angular leg portion formed by the shin, knee and thigh of the seated person forming a back support and rest.
