Abstract: An erosion control apparatus includes a flexible, container and a cord. The container includes a container upper side, a container lower side opposite the container upper side, a container trailing end, a container leading end opposite the container trailing end, and a container mouth toward the container leading end. The container mouth provides an opening to a container interior. The cord is attached between the container mouth and an attachment point toward the container trailing end. The cord draws the container mouth toward the container trailing end due to a length of the cord between the container mouth and the attachment point being shorter than a length of the container between the container mouth and the attachment point. The cord further draws the container mouth toward a closed position as sediment enters the container mouth, fills the container interior, and urges the container leading end away from the attachment point.

Abstract: A frame having a clip for securing the frame to an article of clothing or other object. The frame includes a mount for receiving a removable module and a rotatably attached clip. The clip includes an opening for accommodating sewing ribs between portions of a webbing and a gate (which may be a locking wire) moveable between an open position and a closed position at one end of the opening. In the open position, the locking wire removably engages one of a pair of elongated members defining the opening, e.g., by removably engaging that elongated member at a recess in an outside edge thereof, and does not obstruct the opening. When in the closed position, the locking wire removably engages the other of the elongated members, for example by removably engaging that other elongated member at a recess in its outside edge, and obstructs the longitudinal opening.

Abstract: The invention relates to a service unit that can be carried on the body of a user by means of a carrying system, having at least one power source for supplying power to electrically operated tools connectable to the power source, the power source being formed from at least one rechargeable battery. The invention also relates to a method for monitoring and documenting maintenance work. The invention is distinguished in that the carrying system has an integrated computation and documentation unit for monitoring and documenting maintenance work, wherein the computation and documentation unit is powered from the power source, wherein the computation and documentation unit is connected to at least one motion sensor and/or locating sensor and wherein the motion sensor is arranged on the tool or the hand of the user.

Abstract: A multilayer fabric includes a binding portion in which weft fiber layers stacked in a thickness-wise direction are all bound by warps and a non-binding portion including a slit where a fifth fiber layer and a seventh fiber layer, which are the weft fiber layers, are not bound by warps. The multilayer fabric includes an intersection formed at a boundary of the binding portion and the non-binding portion. The intersection is formed by intersecting the warps that are adjacent in a second direction.

Abstract: A tool holder has a first tool pouch connected to the front surface of a substrate and defining a first tool compartment between the first tool pouch and the substrate. A second tool pouch is connected to the front surface of the substrate and defines a second tool compartment between the second tool pouch and the substrate, where the first tool pouch is at least partially disposed within the second tool pouch. A first retractor pocket is attached to the back surface of the substrate and defines a first retractor compartment that communicates through an opening in the substrate to the first tool compartment. A second retractor pocket attached to the first tool pouch front surface and defines a second retractor compartment between the second retractor pocket and the first tool pouch. The second retractor compartment communicates through a second retractor opening to the second tool compartment.

Abstract: A belt clip for supporting a paint container from a user's waist belt while allowing the painter spill free freedom of movement and secure means for stowing a paint brush. The belt clip has an integral body configured to have an elongated back, a neck extending outward from the proximal end of the back, a head, and a magnet embedded in the head. The belt clip is configured to have a recessed channel for receiving the bail of the paint can and a separate integral hook part for supporting a paint container having a peripheral lip. The back is configured to allow the belt clip to pivot slightly side to side about the wearer thereby accommodating a limited range wearer movement. The magnet allows a user to secure a paint brush to belt clip so that the bush is oriented directly over the open paint can, thereby reducing inadvertent painting errors and messes.

Abstract: A holder for carrying cell phones and other small items is arranged to attach to a belt or other strap, or to a belt loop. The holder is of simple construction, including an elongated backing member and a cover that is attached to the bottom region of the backing member to form a pocket or holster that is open at the top. The backing member is divided near its upper end by a fold to form a first flap and a generally rectangular opening through the backing member, sized and shaped to accommodate a belt loop, is placed adjacent to and below the fold. A second flap is attached to the backing member at a location adjacent to and below the opening and is arranged to fold upwardly to cover the opening and to form a channel for a belt or other strap. The second flap is secured in that position by folding down the first flap and securing it to the second flap.

Abstract: A carrier system for carrying medical device accessories includes a first battery pouch to enclose at least a portion of a first battery and a garment to be worn about a torso. The garment including a plurality of accessory connection features adapted to allow for adjustable attachment of at least the first battery pouch and for adjustable attachment of a medical device controller that is electrically connected to a medical device.

Abstract: A work mans belt-mounted holder which allows a container to be suspended from the waist of a work man freeing up his hands. The holder has a belt receiving member of flexible material with slots to securely hold the belt receiving member on a belt. The holder is fixedly attached to belt receiving member and projects from the receiving member to hold a container. Built into the holder are openings for hand tools to be placed for easy access when needed.

Abstract: An adaptor (1) for fitting to a waist band, the adaptor comprising: an adaptor body having first (3) and second (5) ends. The first end is adapted to receive and retain a pouch (4) and the second end terminates in a fastening assembly. The adaptor body includes a first face (14) and an opposing face (20); wherein the second end comprises at least one fastener (13), the adaptor body formed from a flexible material allowing a portion of the second end to be folded about the waist band. A portion of the second face folds back on itself allowing a portion of the first face to meet at least a portion of the second face in opposing engagement.

Abstract: A gadget holding device for releasably holding a cell phone, an ipod or other similar gadget on a users clothing, belt or purse. The gadget holding device preferably comprising a clip, a D-ring, and a hanging interlock clasp, wherein the D-ring connects the clip to the hanging interlock clasp that permits the D-ring to rotate relative to the clip and the hanging interlock clasp to rotate and slide relative to D-ring. This configuration releasably holds a gadget and enables easy one-handed release from the gadget holding device. In this way, the gadget-holding device is a sleek, flat, lightweight, fashionable and ultimately inconspicuous way to carry a cell phone, music player or any other gadget on a person comfortably.

Abstract: A housing assembly is constructed of a front and rear sheets. The rear sheet has a horizontal linear upper edge and a convex lower edge with curved first and second side edges. The rear sheet has an upper section with opposing side edges and a lower section with opposing convex side edges. The front sheet has a horizontal linear upper edge and a convex lower edge with curved side edges, the lower and side edges overlying and coupled to the lower and side edges of the rear sheet. The upper edge of the front sheet is parallel with and spaced below the upper edge of the rear sheet with an upper opening to define a primary pouch. A generally rectangular supplemental sheet is coupled at its side and lower edges to the front sheet to form a secondary pouch.

Abstract: An apparatus for attachment to a waistband of a wearer for supporting a base end portion of an elongated rod such as a fishing pole adjacent to the leg of the wearer. The apparatus includes an elongated strap having a main portion which extends from the waistband down the leg of the wearer, a first end removeably attachable to the waistband, and a second end having a first support pocket which receives and supports the base end of the elongated rod. The first support pocket is suspended adjacent to and directly contacts the inner thigh of the wearer creating a fulcrum when the elongated rod is supported therein. The creation of the fulcrum permits the elongated rod to be held by the wearer in a stable manner while transferring a majority of the load of the elongated rod from the arms and shoulders of the wearer to the wearer's legs.

Abstract: A modular leg pack system is shown and described, embodiments of which include a belt or belt sleeve for wearing around the body, and preferably at the top of the hips, and preferably two thigh opposing bags. The thigh bags extend from just below the belt to above the knee. One or more top connectors attach the top of the bag to the belt, and a bottom leg strap extends from the bottom of the bag around the inside of the leg. To assist in natural movement of the bag with the leg, the preferred top connectors have a pivot point that allows the bag to pivot in a direction parallel to the motion of the leg. Additionally, it is preferred to have the top connector rotatable relative to the belt in a plane perpendicular to the outer surface of the belt, and rotatable relative to the bag in a plane perpendicular to the back plane of the bag. Openings of the bags are positioned to be easily accessible by the user, usually on the top of the bag.

A second strip of material constructed of leather is sewn onto the first strip of material along three sides so as to define a generally rectangular-shaped pocket for receiving the identification card, the first strip of material being shaped to include a centered window to display the identification card when disposed within the pocket. The first strip of material can be folded about the neck to form a closed loop. A pair of complementary fasteners are mounted onto the first strip of material to retain the device in its closed loop configuration.

An adjustable belt assembly supports a detachable dowel system which bears a roll of paper towels and a detachable tension mechanism to retard unraveling. The harness belt strap adjusts to present the paper towels in front, back or to the side of the user's body. The harness belt appendages adjust to raise or lower the angle of the paper towel roll.

Abstract: The fisherman's utility rod holster which includes a first flat sheet of sturdy material and a second flat sheet of sturdy material shaped into a pair of pockets for receiving a measuring tape and a measuring scale. The pockets are attached to an upper center portion of the base. A D-ring is secured to a lower left portion of the base by a tab that is folded and secured to a back face of the base. An elongated channel having a plurality of vertically aligned slots is formed along the right side portion of the base. A rod support hook formed with a wide U-shaped portion for receiving a fishing rod handle and a narrow inverted U-shaped retaining portion that is removably secured within one of the vertically aligned slots. Elongated slots are formed in the top portion of the base above the compartments for receiving a belt.

Abstract: An ergonomic duty belt and ergonomic holster and belt loop assembly are disclosed which cooperate to provide a stable platform for a handgun in a holster and other accessories as well while providing superior comfort for the wearer. The ergonomic belt effectively has two widths, a narrow 1½ vertical effective width, which is against the wearer's body, and a traditional 2¼ inch exterior vertical width, which is sized to support the wearer's gear, such as a holster and a weapon. That portion of the ergonomic belt, which is against the wearer, is also padded for additional comfort. The ergonomic holster includes a belt loop assembly which is tapered and padded on its inner surface in the area where the assembly touches the wearer's body when worn as intended to better conform to the body of the wearer and minimize wearer discomfort.

Abstract: For holding a hand drill which has a main drill casing with a rearwardly projecting butt-end, a forwardly located chuck, and an elongate handle angularly related to and connecting with the main drill casing spaced from the rear extremity of the butt-end, a holster is provided including a lower receptacle capable of receiving a forward portion of the hand drill and preventing that forward portion from moving laterally away. Included is a means for resiliently urging the hand drill upwardly. The holster also includes an upper receptacle defining a downwardly opening aperture sized to slidingly receive the rearward butt-end of the casing.

Abstract: A belt-attached accessory pocket for containing articles, such as a personal communication device, has a rectangular portion and is made from flexible fabric. It has front and rear surfaces, an open upper edge, and sealed lower, leading and trailing edges. A reinforcing panel of durable material, such as leather, encloses the leading edge and adjacent portions of the front and rear surfaces and resists damage due to abrasion. The panel preferably has a holster shape. The upper edge of the panel is substantially coextensive with the upper edge of the accessory pocket and includes a flap that releasably closes the open upper edge. The pocket may further include a separate, inner cell phone pocket affixed to the fabric. The pocket may also include a pair of leather thongs to be tied around the leg of the wearer.

Abstract: A tool pouch includes an internal tool receiving portion and an external tool receiving portion such that the internal tool receiving portion is insertable into the user pocket to provide a protective tool holder within the user pocket and the external tool receiving portion is positioned outside of the user pocket for receiving tools. The internal tool receiving portion has first and second internal members which are generally planar elements that are attached to each other to form an internal tool receiving cavity. The external tool receiving portion has first and second external members which are generally planar elements that are attached to each other to form a second tool receiving cavity. The internal and external tool receiving portions are connected at a bail. Any part of the internal or external tool receiving portions may be substantially formed from a multi-layered piece of material. An underlying stiffening element may be used to strengthen any portion of the tool pouch.

Abstract: A cell phone carrying case which includes an elongated pocket for insertion of the cell phone thereinto, the pocket including an orifice for the antenna of the phone to protrude therethrough. There is further included an upper flap member which includes a vertical slot therein for allowing a belt loop of pants or like garment to fit therethrough, so that when a belt is passed through the loop, the flap is engaged between the belt and the pants or garment during carrying. The flap is of such a length that the carrying case portion of the carrier can be rolled up so that the phone is engaged tightly against the belt loop and belt when the flap is engaged in the closed or sealed position. There could be further included a pocket for holding a pen or the like for writing as one would be using the phone.

Abstract: This invention relates to portable banking apparatus, more specifically to a portable currency bag. The present invention overcomes the problems of garners losing winnings by providing a portable currency bag which allows the winnings to be placed inside and having a locking device to prevent immediate entry by the player.

Abstract: A locking action holster has a hip plate (2) and at least one adjustable mount (1). A shroud (45) may be secured to the adjustable mount (1) to form a strapless shoulder holster. The adjustable mount (1) may be reconfigured on the hip plate (2) to extend downwardly. A lower mount (30) is then connected with the adjustable mount (1) to form a rotary hinge (32). The shroud (45) may be secured to the lower mount (30), with strap (47) securing the lower mount (30) to a wearer's leg, thus forming a thigh holster.

Abstract: A sanitary glove container assembly and a method for its use that permits the storage of sanitary gloves. The assembly comprises two rounded, hollow members with threaded openings, and the members are joined by a securing mechanism. The area of the openings is smaller than the cross sectional area of the hollow members such that gloves will not fall out inadvertently. The user may individually encapsulate one glove in each hollow member in a manner in order to allow for easy access to the gloves, allow for easy loading of the device, prevent tangling of the gloves, and ensure cleanliness of the glove before use.

Abstract: An ambidextrous drill holster is provided which enables the drill holster to be accessible for both a left handed or a right handed user. A reinforcement type material is also provided for strengthening the tool belt pass-through neck of the weight bearing pouch.

Abstract: A device for securing a T-shaped tool such as a hammer to the leg of a user in a position which provides complete freedom of movement of hands and feet while carrying the tool and permits the user to remove the tool from the device with the same hand employed to use the tool.
