Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a carton for packaging one or more articles, a blank for forming the carton and a method of packaging articles. The carton comprises a plurality of primary panels including a pair of bottom lap panels (12, 20) secured together to allow the primary panels to form walls of a tubular structure. An upper end closure structure partially closes an end of the tubular structure. The upper end closure structure comprises a lower edge that defines at least in part a window for exposing to view contents (B) of the carton. The upper end closure structure comprises a top end closure flap (30a, 30b, 30c, 30d) having a handle opening defined therein and a pair of side end closure flaps (26a, 26b, 34a, 34b). The side end closure flaps comprise an outer surface and an inner surface opposing the outer surface. The outer surface of each of the side end closure flaps comprises a glue area (G1, G2).

Abstract: A folded cardboard box has four longitudinal walls and a separation wall dividing the box's interior into first and second sections. The separation wall has a through-hole and a flap element at an open end of the first section. The flap element has a first flap portion at one of the longitudinal walls and a second flap portion at an adjoining longitudinal wall. The flap element can be flapped from a first state in which each of the first and second flap portions are aligned with the respective wall into a second state in which the flap element projects into the first section.

Abstract: A packaging box includes a body, a first and a second bottom plate. The body has an accommodating space and a bottom opening and includes a first and a second side plate opposite to each other. The first bottom plate is foldably connected to the first side plate and has a first bottom part for covering the bottom opening and a main inserting part foldably connected to the first bottom part. The first bottom part has a slit. When the first bottom part covers the bottom opening, the main inserting part is inserted into the bottom opening. The second bottom plate is foldably connected to the second side plate and includes a second bottom part and a tongue. The second bottom part is superposed on the first bottom part. The tongue is inserted into the slit, so that the second bottom plate is detachably fixed to the first bottom plate.

Abstract: A cartridge assembly for deploying a fillable bulk liquid bag in an intermediate bulk container is provided. The cartridge has a flexible reinforcing board adhered to the fillable bag which may facilitate securing the bag to the discharge port of an IBC while also directing the bag to the IBC bottom center for more efficient filling. Sacrificial paper tape may be used to maintain the cartridge for storage, transportation and deployment in an IBC.

Abstract: A tote package including a middle section that forms a bottom portion, a first side section connecting the first side section and the middle section, wherein the first side section creates a first side portion of the tote package that tapers upwardly from the bottom portion to a top portion of the tote package, and a second side section that is opposite of the that connecting the second side section and the middle section, wherein the second side section creates a second side portion of the tote package that tapers upwardly from the bottom portion to the top portion of the top portion of the tote package, a handle positioned on the top portion of the tote package, wherein the middle section, first side section, and second side section intersect to create a tapered front portion of the tote package that extends beyond the bottom portion.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a packaging box including: a main body having at least an upper surface and an inner space; and a handle disposed on the upper surface of the main body, wherein the upper surface is disposed to be dented inwardly so as to be apart from the handle. The packaging box has the folding line formed on the upper surface so as to make the upper surface dented inwardly by the user's pressing and make the upper surface and the handle spaced apart from each other such that the user can easily insert his or her finger therebetween, thereby remarkably improving user convenience. The packaging box sufficiently shields the inner space from the outside because the upper surface maintains sealing force when the upper surface is dented in order to form the finger insertion space, thereby effectively preventing the inflow of contaminants so as to maximize user satisfaction.

Abstract: A container for packaging a welding wire on a spool includes a box with opposed first and second face panels that are separated by four vertical side walls. At least one aperture on the four vertical side walls is defined by a frangible connection so that the interior of the box is initially inaccessible. At least one corner blocking insert includes an outer profile that corresponds to the spool of welding wire located within said box. After said frangible connection of the aperture is breached, the corner blocking is inserted into the interior of the box via said aperture and engages at least one of an outer perimeter rim of said spool containing a coil of welding wire, or an outer perimeter of the coil of welding wire. In various examples, the corner blocking insert is an expanding foam package, or a folded cardboard insert.

Abstract: A carton (90) includes a first panel (12) and a second panel (20) in overlying relationship with each other so as to form a composite wall and a handle structure (H) formed in the composite wall. The handle structure includes a first end portion formed from the first panel, a grip portion (32,36) extending from the first end portion into an access opening (A1,A2,A3) in the composite wall and a second end portion disposed under the first panel and coupled to the grip portion.

Abstract: A container having a multiplicity of cans therein. The container disclosed is modified from a rectangular, closed wall container to a container with part of the walls removed, thereby allowing easy access to the cans of the container. Applicant discloses a unique relationship between the walls of the opened container and the size of the beverage cans. Applicant also discloses a method for constructing a closed container that may be easily modified to remove the cans of the container.

Abstract: A carton for containing at least one article. The carton comprises a plurality of panels at least partially forming an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels comprises a first panel and a second panel, the first panel and the second panel being in face-to-face contact to at least partially form the interior of the carton. The first panel comprises at least one article protection flap for protecting the at least one article. The at least one article protection flap is foldably connected to the first panel and moveable between a first position that is substantially parallel to the first panel and a second position wherein the article protection flap is folded relative to the first panel. The second panel comprises at least one access feature for positioning the at least one article protection flap from the first position to the second position.

One of the plurality of walls includes a handle structure defined in it. The handle structure includes a grip member struck from one of the plurality of walls and a handle strap. The grip member is mounted on the handle strap. A first aperture is struck from the one of the plurality of walls. The aperture is disposed adjacent to a first end of the grip member so as to define a first end edge of the grip member. The first aperture defines a portion of an opening in the one of the plurality of walls. In the opening, a portion of the handle strap may be received.

The base portion extends in an oblique direction from the central panel toward the closed end of the carton.

Abstract: A printer filter packaging apparatus includes a base for supporting a filter having delicate filter media. Side wraps extend from two opposite sides of the base and cover two opposite sides of the filter. A rear wrap includes a handle, and covers a rear and a top of the filter. A front wrap defines a slit for receiving the handle; the front wrap covers the top and a front of the filter. The wrapped or covered filter may be lifted by the handle, the filter being supported by a combination of the base and front, rear, and side wraps.

Abstract: A packing box for a weight lifting bar includes an elongate board having four parallel first folding lines to define the elongate board into a first portion, a second portion, a third portion, a fourth portion and a fifth portion. A second folding line is formed in each of two ends of the elongate board. Each of the two ends of the elongate board is defined into five end covers by the second folding line and the four first folding lines. The first portion is cut to have two side covers. The fifth portion is cut to have two openings. The elongate board is folded along the four first folding lines to form a quadratic body, and the end covers are folded inward to close the two open ends of the quadratic body. The bar in the packing box can be seen via the openings by opening the side covers.

Abstract: A container assembly having an inner container and an outer cover fixedly attached to one another. The inner container has multiple sidewalls for forming the inner container sidewalls and has a bottom forming flap attached thereto. The outer cover has multiple cover sidewalls that fit over the inner container sidewalls to enclose the inner container. At least one attachment member attached to and extending from the outer cover is attached to the bottom forming flap, thereby fixedly attaching the inner container to the outer container. The attachment member can be separated from the container outer cover to allow removal of the outer cover from the inner container without marring the finish of the outside face of the sidewalls of the inner container. A knockdown assembly that is erectable to form the container assembly is also provided.

The elongated fastener continues at least partially across two triangular side flaps such that, when open, one of the triangular side flaps serves as a pouring spout. In some embodiments, a side flap retainer is connected between the side flaps to removably hold the side flaps in place against the top of the container.

Abstract: A multipurpose box includes a receiving case having a space therein, an auxiliary plate extended upwardly from the receiving case, and a pair of cut portions spaced apart from each other on the auxiliary plate. The multipurpose box is capable of packaging a product and concurrently having a business card, a photograph, or the like, placed therein. The multipurpose box can be reused as a frame, or to store simple things such as office supplies and/or the like at a later time.

Abstract: A collapsible cardboard box including, in an erected state, a back wall, an opposing front wall, a first side wall and an opposing second side wall. In its collapsed state, the box includes a first through hole in the front portion and a second through hole in the back portion. In the collapsed state, the box has been unfolded in such a way that the first and second through holes are in line with each other forming a handle for allowing a person to carry the collapsed box by use of the first and second through holes.

Abstract: A handle structure includes a reinforcing flap struck from a handle panel to define at least a part of a handle opening for insertion of a user's hand. Abstract: A hexagonal box is formed from a box blank having a rectangular main body divided into six sections which are separated by score lines so that the main body can be folded to create the hexagonal box. The main body has a set of six flaps extending from one end of the six sections, and a second set of six independent flaps extending from the other end of the six sections. Preferably, at least two-thirds of the end-flaps are non-rectangular. Once the box blank is folded into a hexagonal box, the end-flaps may folded inward to create closed ends with minimal end-flap overlap. The hexagonal boxes may be constructed to have handles. A plurality of boxes may be grouped together into a honeycomb formation to maximize the packing density for shipment or transport.

Deformation lines can be included on the blank or carton to allow the handle to flex, thereby increasing handle strength. The blank can include corner-forming panels attached to end flaps that can be used to form corners in the formed carton or package. The corners provide reinforcement strength to allow stacking of the cartons or packages, such as on pallets or during shipment. Openings can be provided in select areas of the blank, carton, or package to allow ventilation to and from the interior of the carton or package. Connecting panels in the top panel can be removed to dispense articles from the carton or package.

One of the transverse edges is connected to one of the first and second panels. The fold line is interrupted by an aperture defined at least in part by a first edge of the aperture. The first edge defines a carrying edge of the at least one handle structure.

Abstract: A package of specialty shingles is provided, preferably for containing hip, ridge or rake shingles, with support in the bottom of the package for the shingles that is complementary to the lower ends of nested, stacked shingles in the package. Shaped constraining devices are provided, for retaining the shape of shingles in the package. An assembly of packages of the specialty shingles is provided, in a tray arrangement, and a pallet assembly of various levels of such packages disposed on a pallet are also provided.
