Abstract: A dual compartment box features slides which move sideways to uncover openings for dispensing two different types of solid pourable products. It is made from a single cardboard blank having a plurality of panels extending lengthwise and connected together. The box is formed by folding the panels into a pair of adjacent compartments, with a top panel folding over to encapsulate the slides. The slides are detachable from the front panel and moveable sideways to uncover openings which form dispensing paths for the two types of solid pourable products. The slides preferably remain attached to side panels of the box, and then can be moved back to close off the dispensing paths if all the product is not immediately used. A bottom portion of the box is configured with conventional flaps and the box can be filled from the bottom or the top.

Abstract: A plate holder for holding a license plate includes: a holder base having, on a first side, a contact surface, which extends along a contact plane and on which a license plate is rests in a position arranged on the plate holder; and two guide rails, which are arranged on the holder base and extend parallel to each other and between which the license plate can be slid in an insertion direction for arrangement on the contact surface, the license plate being held between the guide rails in the position arranged on the plate holder, wherein the holder base has, on a second side facing away from the contact surface, a placement surface, which extends parallel to the contact plane, is spaced apart from the contact surface in a vertical direction pointing perpendicularly to the contact plane, and can be placed on an object to arrange the plate holder.

Abstract: A plate carrier for carrying a license plate includes: a carrier body; two guide rails that are arranged on the carrier body and extend so as to be mutually parallel, and between which the license plate can be pushed in an insertion direction in order to be arranged on the plate carrier, the license plate being held between the guide rails when arranged on the plate carrier; and at least one resilient latching element that is arranged on the carrier body and that can be deformed elastically when the license plate is being arranged on the plate carrier, and that secures the license plate on the carrier body against movement in the insertion direction when the license plate is arranged on the plate carrier.

Abstract: A seal-end package or box for dispensing a solid pourable product includes folding major side panels foldably connected together extending laterally, and formed into a tube around a central axis. Further extending laterally is an overlapping panel similarly folded over and conforming to the tube. A slide is connected to the major side panels, with the overlapping panel having a cover panel with an opening. The slide obstructs the opening, until a thumb tab on the slide engaged by a user and moved laterally relative the axis un-obstructs the opening allowing dispensing of the product.

The package has a plurality of panels, folded so that at least two side panels are able to be closed in an overlapping arrangement so that the two side panels are sealed together with the first surface and sealable coating in facing relationship.

Abstract: A package for solid pourable product includes a blank one-piece pattern having several flaps, several side panels and a slide. The slide has an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion is connected to a top flap and the lower portion extends into the box. A support is provided, connected to a flap of the box, for resiliently engaging the lower portion. One of the side panels has an opening covered by the lower portion. The support holds the lower portion against the opening when the slide is closed. Preferably the lower portion slides between the support and the panel having the opening. The fold line between second top flap and the support is set back from the panel having the opening thereby helping the support resiliently push against the lower portion.

Abstract: An adjustable box top lid is removably attachable to each container of a plurality of separate containers with each container having a rectangular top opening with a length dimension that is different from length dimensions of the top openings of the other containers of the plurality of containers. The adjustable lid includes first and second separate sections that are connected together and are movable relative to each other when connected to adjust a length of the lid. The adjustable length of the lid enables the lid to be removably attachable to each of the containers over the rectangular top opening of each container. One of the lid sections is provided with an opening and a removable cap over the opening that can be removed to allow the dispensing of food products from the container to which the lid is attached.

Abstract: A package (1) for containing loose items comprises at least one outer casing (2), at least one inner casing (3) accommodated slidably within the outer casing (2) and capable of motion between a closed configuration, in which an opening (4) presented by the inner casing (3) is concealed completely by the at least one outer casing (2), and an open configuration in which the opening (4) is exposed at least in part. The package (1) further comprises at least one connecting appendage (5) hinged along a first line to a side wall of the outer casing (2), and along a second line to a side wall of the inner casing (3) breasted in sliding contact with the side wall of the outer casing. The outer casing (2) comprises a locking part with a flap (6) folded to act against a corresponding locking part of the inner casing (3) also comprising a flap (7), both flaps (6, 7) in folded state being attached to the outer casing (2) and the inner casing (3), respectively.

Abstract: A box for easy dispensing of solid pourable product has a slide with a portion fixed, preferably by adhesive, to the top, but otherwise detachable from the box, preferably along a perforation. One of the sides of the box has an opening near the top of the box, covered by the slide. Upon lifting the top of the box and thereby detaching the slide, the opening is uncovered enabling the contents to flow from inside the box. The easy-dispensing box is constructed by starting from a single sheet of blank stock, and folding the sides, preferably into a tube box with sealed ends. Advantageously, the slide and the stops end up inside the box and properly located, and both ends of the box may be sealed.

The mobile lid, the walls of the containing body and the movement means define a kinematic mechanism suitable to make the mobile lid assume an open position as well.

The rigid or semi-rigid container is typically provided in a stack of flat containers. The header is sealed, glued or otherwise secured to the containers. The container, typically inverted, is filled, and the bottom is formed by folding and sealing the bottom portion of the container.

Abstract: Disclosed is a container comprising a lid and a base. The lid has a top surface and a side wall all about the perimeter of the top surface. The side wall has a lip which may be formed from a rolled edge. The base has a bottom surface and a side wall. The side wall further includes a plurality of tapered sections, a plurality of retention bumps, and a plurality of pivot bumps. The lid is adapted to fit over the base such that the rolled edge abuts underneath the retention bumps and pivot bumps securing the lid in place when the container is closed. The rolled edge of the lid pivots about and slides along the pivot bumps when the container is in an open position to create an opening for accessing contents of the container.

Abstract: A carton for containing and dispensing a plurality of products is disclosed that comprises: a plurality of panels that define an internal volume; a trap door defined in at least one panel of the plurality of panels and separable from the panel along at least one weakened line to form an opening in the panel; and an insert strip positioned in the internal volume at least partially over the trap door. The insert strip retains the plurality of products within the internal volume of the carton after the trap door is separated from the panel. The products may then be dispensed through the opening by at least partially removing the insert strip from the internal volume.

Abstract: A pitcher includes a container body defining a liquid storage cavity therein and having an open end and a cover removably coupled to the container body. The cover extends along the open end, and the cover defining a fill opening configured to receive a liquid therein. The fill opening is in communication with the liquid storage cavity. The pitcher also includes a lid assembly having a lid closing access to the fill opening. A slide mechanism is coupled to the lid, and the slide mechanism is slidably coupled to the cover.

Abstract: A slide and shell container comprising a shell, and a slide, which is movable in the shell along a sliding path from a closed position to an open position, wherein in the closed position the interior of the container is inaccessible, and wherein in the open position the interior of the container is accessible. The shell comprises a guide slit, extending along the sliding path, wherein a guide means of the slide engages with the guide slit. Further, a single blank for forming a slide and a single blank for forming a guide means is disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention provides a container having a carton and a cover sized to fit over and enclose an interior space of the container. Carton and cover each are adapted to permit controlled flow of air in to and out of the interior space of the container. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, cover sidewalls are adapted to move between an open position and a closed position, wherein air is permitted to flow in to and out of the interior space of the container when the sidewalls are in an open position, but inhibited from flowing in to and out of the container when the sidewalls are in a closed position.

Abstract: An upper end of a carton includes first and second panels that are in an overlapping relationship with respect to one another. The first panel includes an opening for being in communication with the carton's interior. A flexible, elongate closure tab extends through a slot so that the closure tab is interposed between the first and second panels. The closure tab can be slid between the first and second panels, between open and closed configurations. In the closed configuration, the closure tab at least substantially obstructs the opening. In the open configuration, the opening is not substantially obstructed by the closure tab. A projection is engaged by the closure tab for discouraging the closure tab from being completely pulled out of the slot during the open configuration.

Abstract: A container for a fluid, comprising a pouring element comprises a pouring spout manufactured from a flexible material which is connected by a sealing connection (5) to the container. A pouring spout manufactured from flexible material, for instance plastic foil or a plastic laminate foil with for instance aluminum, is much less expensive than the containers heretofore provided with a pouring spout. According to a preferred embodiment the pouring element is provided with a once-only breakable closure (10) and with a resealable closure (7, 21).

Abstract: A package for dispensing pourable solid product includes a box having a pair of heart-shaped sides and a moveable slide for selectively opening and closing the product dispensing opening in the bottom portion of the box. Preferably the moveable slide is hingedly connected to an actuation panel extending down a side of the box. The package further preferably includes a wrapping applied to the box with a tear-away portion covering only the opening and slide, such that the tear away portion can be removed and the remainder of the wrapping stays in place decorating the box. Preferably and to great cost advantage, the box is formed from a single blank sheet of paper cardboard stock.

Abstract: Embodiments of a product dispensing apparatus, gate and methods for assembling and using are disclosed. A particularly, useful feature of the embodiments is a movable gate having tabs with perforation which may be formed as part of a unitary body configured for assembly into a product dispensing apparatus. According to an additional feature, the gate may be configured to separate from the tabs upon first use and then be used to open and close or at least partially close a portal for accessing products within the product dispensing apparatus. According to other features, the gate may also be configured to slide up and down, from side-to-side or move within a channel formed in part by the tabs at the perforations and by other gate-enclosing panels.

A second minor side is connected to one of the major sides by a fold line, the second minor side having a first opening at the top thereof. A slide retention member is foldably coupled to the second minor side, and has a second opening substantially aligned with the first opening when the slide retention member is folded over the second minor side. The blank further includes a slide opener secured by at least one tie to the slide retention member and by another tie to the second minor side, the slide opener including a third opening comparable in size to the first and second openings, and having an attachment portion for securing to the top of the box along an area spaced back from the second minor side.

Abstract: A dispenser adapter assembly for bags includes a bag having a line of weakness defining an opening, and a dispenser adapter mounted to the bag. The dispenser adapter is formed of a first main base portion having an opening and a second slider retention base portion having an opening, with the two base portions being folded together with the openings substantially aligned with the bag opening. In addition a slide actuator is mounted between the two portions of the base for movement between a closed position blocking the openings and an open position permitting product flow through all of the openings. Mating movable and fixed stops are also provided to limit outward movement of the slide actuator.

The housing enclosing moisture-absorbent material and deodorizing material. The housing is enclosed within a jacket comprising a perforated contiguous wall; the wall defines an opening for receiving the housing. The jacket further comprises a closing member for closing the opening when the housing is within the jacket. The jacket can comprise a rigid, rectangular cage having a detachable lid. The semi-permeable membrane of the housing can comprise polyethylene or expanded polytetrafluoroethylene, individually or a combination thereof. The impermeable can comprise either polyethylene film or polypropylene film. The moisture-absorbent material can comprise a hygroscopic, deliquescent or a combination of a hygroscopic deliquescent and a gel forming polymer.

Abstract: A product dispensing apparatus includes a housing and at least one panel movable between open and closed positions. The movable panel may be completely separate from the other portions of the dispensing apparatus and simply incorporated into the other portions of the dispensing apparatus so that it can be movable. Alternatively, the movable panel may form an integral portion of the remaining walls of the product dispensing apparatus. The product dispensing apparatus may include indicia to attract attention and provide an enhanced visual appearance to the product dispensing apparatus. The product dispensing apparatus according to the present invention may dispense any type of products, including treats, beverage containers, food items, personal hygiene items, medical products, and any other type of product that lends itself to dispensing from a container.

Abstract: A closure for use closing the fin panel of an associated gable top carton includes a pair of opposing side walls each defining a free end and being connected to one another at an opposing end by a bridge wall. The closure is pivotally mountable to the upstanding fin and extending along at least a portion of the fin panel. The closure is pivotal between a closed position wherein the side walls are urged over the fin panel to engage and compress separable portions of the fin panel together when the dispensing opening is closed, and an open position in which the side walls are pivoted away from the fin panel to disengage the separable portions of the fin panel to open the dispensing opening.
