Abstract: Packaging is formed from a unitary, cross-shaped blank folded to form a packaging to hold a product. Some panels of the packaging include cutouts, and the material from the cutouts is adhered to other panels to form fastening elements to hold the box together in a closed configuration via a friction fit. This adds efficiency to the material usage of the packaging. The folded panels fold at miter cuts, such that the outward facing edges are sharp cornered and the opposing miter surfaces increase structural integrity of the finished packaging. Complementary edges of the packaging also are formed with miter cuts (or chamfer-type cuts), such that the complementary edges form a sharp corner, with opposing miter surfaces increasing structural integrity of the finished packaging at complementary edges just as at the fold lines.

Abstract: The present invention is a system, comprising: isolate at least one wall panel from a building model; process a first set of data associated with the characteristics of the wall panel members, wherein the characteristics are related to the profile and length; process a second set of data associated with the assembly of the wall panel; create an assembly process of the wall panel, wherein an assembly and disassembly of the wall panel is performed to determine at least one assembly process based on the order of connecting the wall panel members from a construction perspective; formulate a package of the wall panel, wherein the package is organized based on assembly process; adjust the orientation of the members within the package based on the shipping vessel limitations and the other bundles of the model which are contained within the shipping vessel; and generate a graphical representation of the package.

Abstract: The invention relates to a packaging system including box and wrapping papers of conventional type having a square folded bottom and side folds providing a box shaped assembly where the proposed assembly can be used for packaging of various types of items. The assembly is easy to use and can be used for packaging of consumer goods, gifts, surprise or mystery items, in promotional schemes or brand activation and marketing activities.

Abstract: A packaging system is provided which includes a carton having sides defining an enclosure for receiving contents. At least one of the sides is hingedly connected to the carton for opening and closing of the carton. At least one side has a flap for extending over an adjacent side when the carton is in the closed configuration. Releasable fastening means are provided which have a first part of a releasable fastener secured to the flap to register with and engage a second part of the releasable fastener which is secured to the adjacent side. The first and second parts of the releasable fastener require a force for separation which is below a force required to tear the flap or the adjacent side.

Abstract: A shipping container including a container body having at least one open end and at least one mounting opening formed therein adjacent to the open end, an end cap having a sidewall provided with a projection that extends away from the sidewall and a slot; and an external locking clip comprising an elongate member having a first end provided with a protruding portion and a second end provided with a receiving portion for receiving an end portion of the protruding portion. The end cap is received in the open end of the container body such that the container body surrounds the sidewall, the projection extends into the mounting opening, and the mounting opening is aligned with the slot in the sidewall. The protruding portion extends through the mounting opening and the aligned slot, and end portion of the protruding portion is received within the receiving portion.

Abstract: A method of dispensing and resealing a moisture curable medical material against moisture intrusion is provided. The method includes the steps of providing a moisture-impervious product container comprising an elongate sleeve sealable to prevent entry of moisture, providing an elongate medical material positioned in the sleeve, sealing the medical material in the sleeve against entry of moisture until use, providing a dispensing carton within which the sleeve and medical material positioned therein is contained, and bearing a tab against the length of the sleeve devoid of medical material and into a laterally-extending opening in the sealing member to form a doubled thickness of the sleeve having a sealing fold therein to form a seal that is resistant to moisture intrusion into the sleeve.
