Abstract: A stackable and collapsible storage box (100) comprising a foldable wrapper (10) having side wall and end wall panels which are releasably retained within a peripheral channel (30a) on a separate base portion (30). The wall panels have lower extension portions (11, 12) that are folded upwardly to provide a double thickness and these lower extension portions have an upper edge (12a) or apertures (37) that engage with short protrusions (33) formed on an inner wall (32) of the channel to retain the panels. The end wall panels have upper first and second extensions portions (14a, 16) that are respectively folded inwardly and upwardly to provide a support edge (16a) to support hangers for hang files. The support edge can be strengthened with a channel section (19). The box can have a lid (50) has a ridge (53) to compliment channel (36) on the base portion to allow stacking.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to an open-top container for shipping and displaying products which comprises a plurality of side walls. Bottom wall flaps are foldably joined to bottom edges of the side walls and are folded inwardly therefrom into overlapping relationship with one another to form a bottom wall closure. A respective plurality of triangularly-shaped beams foldably joined to upper edges of the respective plurality of side walls. Each of the plurality of the triangularly-shaped beams is defined by a shoulder panel and a flange panel foldably joined to one another. A bumper sticker panel is foldably joined to upper edge of one of the plurality of side walls forming a partial top closure when the open-top container is in the shipping position and partially prevents products from falling out when the open-top container is in the displaying position.

Abstract: A shipping container including a container body having at least one open end and at least one mounting opening formed therein adjacent to the open end, an end cap having a sidewall provided with a projection that extends away from the sidewall and a slot; and an external locking clip comprising an elongate member having a first end provided with a protruding portion and a second end provided with a receiving portion for receiving an end portion of the protruding portion. The end cap is received in the open end of the container body such that the container body surrounds the sidewall, the projection extends into the mounting opening, and the mounting opening is aligned with the slot in the sidewall. The protruding portion extends through the mounting opening and the aligned slot, and end portion of the protruding portion is received within the receiving portion.

The main body is a flat plate with two connecting portions at opposite sides thereof after disassembled. A pair of fixing parts matable with each other is respectively disposed at the two connecting portions of the main body. The upper cover is a flat plate with a predetermined shape. A plurality of upper tabs respectively extends outwards from the periphery of the upper over. The lower cover is a flat plate with a shape corresponding to the upper cover. A plurality of lower tabs extends outwards from the periphery of the lower cover. The upper portion of the main body is provided with a plurality of upper positioning parts corresponding to the upper tabs of the upper cover.

The carton comprises a center panel, foldable end panels, foldable side panels, and foldable corner panels. A pair of diametrically opposed corner panels are folded inwardly into contact with opposed end panels. The end panels comprise rectangular cutout holes surrounding foldable flaps. The lid has a central panel that is divided from integral end panels and integral side panels. A lid side panel extending vertically downwardly is coupled to the carton. Lid end panels have elliptical orifices that register with carton cutout regions and adjoining slots that align with handle anchor orifices. An alternative lid has flaps comprising major and minor segments separated by a diagonal fold line. The minor segment has an apex that releasably biases the flap in engagement with the end panel, yieldably locking the lid.

Abstract: The present invention provides a shipping container, a paper tube, an end cap and a method. The shipping container includes a tube and an end cap. The tube has a cylindrical body and an open end. The cylindrical body has a mounting opening formed therein adjacent to the open end. The end cap includes a circular sidewall that is adapted to be received by the open end of the tube such that the circular sidewall radially surrounds the cylindrical body. The circular sidewall includes a projection that extends away from the circular sidewall and into the mounting opening so as to releasably secure the end cap to the tube.

Abstract: A corrugated paperboard container (10) has a bottom (11), opposite side walls (12, 13) and opposite end walls (14, 15). The end walls include an end panel (18) that is foldably connected to the bottom, and end flap panels (16, 17) that are foldably connected to the side walls. A roll-over flap (23) is connected to the end wall by a web (24), and a notch (20) is in the top edge of the end flap panels. The end wall panel and end flap panels are folded into overlying relationship, and the roll-over flap is folded over an upper edge of the end wall panel, with the web lying in the notch. A projection or hook (41) extends into one side of the notch to engage an edge of the web to retain the web in the notch. A blank for making the container is also disclosed.

Abstract: A reclosable container made of a material, such as paperboard, has a locking corner in the form of a two-section bellows panel that V-folds to form a slot between two rounded edges, free of any cut or raw edges. A closure panel folds over an upper edge of the container. Locking tabs at opposite ends of the closure panel fit into the slots. The rounded edges enable multiple openings and closings of the container without damage to either the slot or the locking tab.

Abstract: A packing box includes a first member which receives items in such a manner that the items are exposed at the upper half thereof, and which is provided with first and second through holes at a predetermined side at positions close to each other, and a second member which covers the upper side of the first member, and which is provided with a cut portion at a position corresponding to the first and second through holes, the cut portion being insertable into the first and second through holes. The first and second members can be locked to each other by inserting the cut portion into the first and second through holes. When the second member is separated from the first member, the items stored in the first member are exposed at the upper half thereof, so that the items can be displayed without taking them out.

Male and female flaps are hingedly connected to the panels, and are foldable into an interlocked arrangement to form the container bottom. A lid can be provided having a lid panel and one or more lid flaps hingedly connected thereto. The lid flaps each have a lid opening and a handle portion, and the sheet has corresponding panel openings and handle portions. The lid flaps have locking tabs that can be extended through the aligned lid and panel openings to secure the lid in place.

Abstract: A combined stacking tab is provided for use with a container having a containment portion and a lid. The containment portion includes a lateral panel and an upright wall. The upright wall includes an upper edge with a stacking tab. The lid also includes a lateral panel and an upright wall connected to the lateral panel. A lid stacking tab is cut from portions of the lid lateral panel at its connection to the lid upright wall, thereby resulting in an opening in the lid lateral panel. As erected, the lid stacking tab remains in the plane of the lid upright wall, with the containment portion stacking tab being located within the opening of the lid lateral panel. The combination of the containment portion stacking tab and the lid stacking tab forms a combined stacking tab of at least double-ply material thickness.

Abstract: A triangular paperboard container for fast foods, particularly pizza slices, is fashioned from two triangular tray halves. The upper tray half is provided with a plurality of manually actuable over center toggle locking tabs which are pushed down and pass between opposed tips of respective notches. The notches are spaced along the upper edges of the bottom tray half side walls. When pushed downwardly, each toggle locking tab engages and distorts opposed points at the entrance to each notch, the opposed points resuming their original position after the tab has passed them, by virtue of the inherent resiliency of paperboard. The locking tabs themselves also distort somewhat when pushing them down. Each notch includes oppositely sloping edges against which opposite sides of a corresponding toggle locking tab engage.

Abstract: The present invention provides a solution with a releasable, childproof container that is particularly suited for ammunition and other hazardous items. The container has a cover and body. The container body includes, preferably in two opposing side walls, a resilient leaf, which is preferably biased slightly outward. The resilient leaf is adapted to pivot inwardly and outwardly within an opening in a side wall. The container cover includes stops mounted on an inner surface of the body side walls and aligned with the cover side wall having the resilient leaf. Adjacent to and above the stop is a release panel, which is also capable of pivoting inwardly and outwardly relative to the container.
