Abstract: A filer is disclosed which has front panel and rear panel defining a storage compartment therebetween, the storage compartment having a width. The filer includes a cover coupled to the rear panel and releasably attachable to the front panel to generally cover or seal the storage compartment. A distal portion of the cover has a width that is about equal to or smaller than the width of the storage compartment to allow the distal portion of the front cover to be received in the storage compartment.

Abstract: A portable photo studio apparatus is described. The portable photo studio apparatus is configured to mount an electronic device such as a camera-enabled smartphone for capturing images of a subject in the portable photo studio without a photographer. The portable photo studio includes a bottom section on which the subject stands while being imaged. The portable photo studio also includes a background section that includes three walls. The subject stands in front of the background section while being imaged. To enable transportation and storage, the photo studio apparatus may be collapsed and assembled quickly and easily (e.g., may be assembled by a single person in a home).

Abstract: A container includes a front wall, a back wall, first and second opposing sidewalls, a foldable top, and a bottom. An interior for storing consumer goods is defined between the front wall, the back wall, the first and second side walls, the top and the bottom. Each side wall has three or more fold lines, which form two or more indents extending along the side wall from the bottom to the top. The fold lines of the first side wall are aligned with the fold lines of the second side wall. The container is expandable and collapsible such that the distance between the front wall and the back wall increases as the container is expanded and decreases as the container is collapsed. The top forms a fin when the top is unfolded.

Abstract: A glove box for a vehicle includes a glove box door pivotally hinged to an instrument panel in a vehicle, a pair of side walls extending rearwardly from the glove box door, a rear wall connected to rearward edges of the pair of side walls. The glove box door, the pair of side walls, and the rear wall define a storage volume between them. The glove box further includes a flexible divider pivotally hinged at a lower portion of the storage volume.

Abstract: A minimalist wallet provides capture and ready access to credit cards, paper money bills, and receipts in a single (solitary; one and only one) pocket covered by a closure acting as a guide to fold money and receipts. Credit cards act as a bender or edge around which to bend bills and receipts. The closure tucks into the pocket and the entire wallet fits within a shirt pocket, a front or rear trouser pocket, or in a jacket, sweater, or the like with minimum profile. Relieved corners (open corners; non-corners) permit the wallet to thin down to minimum content or expand to maximum content. The wallet is simple, adaptable, renders all the content readily visible, yet secures all contents so long as it remains within any pocket of clothing or luggage.

Abstract: Installable and removable inserts for pocket folders and their method of manufacturer are shown and described. Inserts have spaced part divider panels which are anchored to a base plate or form a base plate. In one embodiment, a single plate divider also forms the base and one upright divider while another element with two dividers is bonded to the base. In another embodiment two separate upright dividers are bonded together at a common upright wall and the pair is then bonded to a base. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: A stair-step, expandable file folder is disclosed, in which each pocket in the folder has the same depth, rather than the back pockets being deeper than the front pockets. The folder includes a series of dividers that form the front and back sides of the pockets of the folder. The top edges of the dividers have increasing height, from the front to the back of the folder. The dividers are folded to form the bottoms of the pockets, with the folded portions also increasing in height from the front to the back of the folder. Each divider extends downward to form the back face of a pocket, is folded forward to form the bottom face of the pocket, and is folded downward to extend toward the bottom edge of the folder. The troughs in an expandable gusset support the sides of the dividers. Above the fold portion, the divider laterally extends into one trough. Below the fold portion, the divider laterally extends into the adjacent trough toward the front of the folder.

An alternative embodiment (FIG. 9-10) show a folder which has a bottom flap 320, side flap 322 and top flap 318 which overlie each other to create a three sided boundary for papers or other contents.

A stiffener can be moved within the enclosure to be sandwiched lengthwise between a divider panel and an end wall and/or between two divider panels.

Abstract: A file folder is comprised of the conventional elements of a back cover, a plurality of compartment dividers, and a front cover located in front of the compartment dividers. According to the novel features of the invention the front cover is formed of a lower face portion and an upper shield portion delineated from the lower face portion by a laterally extending fold that extends across the entire width of the front cover. The upper shield portion is biased toward an extended disposition to project upwardly above the upper edges of the compartment dividers. Furthermore, a latch is provided on the upper shield portion and a catch is located on the lower face portion of the front cover. The catch is engageable with the latch when at least part of the shield portion is forced downwardly, bending in articulated fashion into a disposition facing the lower face portion.

Abstract: A folder system with an accordion spine 16, and a method of making same is disclosed. The folder may have a plurality of insert elements 52, 60 either at manufacture or by a stub system which are bound into the spine at the valleys 32 of the web which forms the spine. The web is made of outer zig-zag web 40, with the inner web 42, 44, 46 joining adjacent insert elements and the outer web, to create a strong spine of web and inserts.

Abstract: A two-way open type file folder, which is characterized in that the main body of the two-way open type file folder is provided with first and second file holders of reverse openings. The first and second cover plates are separately set at both ends of the rear panel of the main body, such that the first cover plate is used to cover the first opening of the first file holder, and the second cover plate used to cover the second opening of the second file holder. The two-way open type file folder of the present invention can substantially improve the classification functions to meet diversified user demands.

The organizer includes an outer casing having a front panel, a bottom panel, a rear panel, an extension panel portion and a closure cover, all hinged and serially connected to each other at adjoining edges. At least one divider is provided to subdivide the opening into pockets. The pocket liner includes a medial portion positioned as a lower retaining portion disposed between adjacent walls. The pocket liner is attached at one end to the divider and at a second end to an adjacent wall.

Flaps that form the ends of the closed pocket are separated by a fold line into two contiguous parts that are hinged to each other to allow expansion of the pocket. The pocket folder is fabricated from a one-piece blank of any suitable material such as paper, paperboard or plastic and has score lines on at least the back section to permit expansion when materials are inserted into the closed pocket.

The cover includes a closure flap and a connecting or mounting panel having at least one track follower that is engaged in a track formed in the back panel. Each track is formed as a longitudinal slot in the back panel extending parallel to the side edges thereof. A latch mechanism is mounted on the free edge of the closure flap and is releasably engageable with a catch mechanism on the outside surface of the front panel of the filing case body. The track follower permits longitudinal, sliding movement of the filing case cover and allows it to be drawn over the top of the filing case body, whereupon the latch mechanism on the closure flap is secured to the catch mechanism on the front panel of the filing case body.

The folder may have a plurality of insert elements 52, 60 either at manufacture or by a stub system which are bound into the spine at the valleys 32 of the web which forms the spine. Abstract: An expandable card form is described that includes a plurality of foldable leafs that are foldable onto one another at fold lines which separate each adjacent pair of foldable leafs. A slot can be cut through the fold line separating one of the adjacent pairs of foldable leafs. The plurality of foldable leafs can be connected to one another linearly and can include adhesive sections so that, when assembled, the foldable leafs form an expandable card. One end leaf can include a projecting panel attached thereto. The projecting panel can be extended through the slot when the card is expanded and can be retracted so as not to be visible when the card is oriented into its closed configuration. The expandable card can include information printed thereon to create a business card, a place setting card, a medical information card, or a gift card.

Abstract: The present invention provides a retractable dual-purpose file folder, including a retractable chamber with a front panel, a rear panel, a retractable bottom wall, two retractable side walls and an accommodation space. A plurality of three-sided sealed spacers is arranged at intervals into the accommodation space of the retractable chamber, the bottom of which is coupled onto the retractable bottom wall. There is a multi-section locator, including first and second locators. The first locator is arranged onto the front panel, and the second locator arranged on the rear panel. The invention includes positioning bands, each with a positioning end located securely on the front panel and a moveable end with a mating portion mated securely with the first and second locators. The retractable dual-purpose file folder can be accommodated into the brief case and placed uprightly on the table for meeting the diversified customer requirements with better applicability.

Abstract: A glove box organizer for storing contents of a glove box of a motor vehicle. The glove box organizer is an accordion file folder having folder sections. The folder sections include an assortment of pockets, holders and dividers for separately storing contents in the glove box. The folder sections have tabs mounted thereto for identifying the contents of one or more of the folder sections. The glove box organizer includes a rigid support for propping open and clamping shut the glove box organizer at a given width. A bottom panel of the glove box organizer defines a recess for receiving a locking mechanism of the glove box. A flexible membrane is mounted to the bottom panel and substantially occupies the recess to seal the bottom panel while enabling the recess to receive the locking mechanism of the glove box.

Abstract: A file folder is formed with front and back faces and a plurality of dividers located therebetween. Side panels of the folder are formed with pleated folds. Each of the dividers is provided with a pocket label tab. The folder may include a cover that forms a window to allow concurrent visual observation of all of the label tabs on all the dividers, even when the pockets are collapsed. The cover can be closed over the front face of the folder. The label tabs can be arranged in a single row, or in a plurality of rows in which each row behind projects above the row immediately in front. Even with the cover closed and the pockets collapsed all of the label tabs are concurrently visible through the window. Also, the file folder may be formed without a cover and with the pockets collapsed.

Abstract: A portable file folder with hanging functions has a file folder body, an integral hand-held portion, a strap locator, a strap body and a file resting portion; the integral hand-held portion is composed of through-holes opened on the bulges of two folder covers, thus reducing the cost and maintaining the portability; the strap locator contains an extension stopper with spacing hole and a strap fastener with a mating portion; moreover, the spacing hole is opened at the center of the extension stopper, and both ends of the strap body are penetrated into the spacing hole and linked to the mating portion, so that the strap body can be hung centrally or carried on the back easily, thus realizing the portability and hanging functions of the file folder to meet the diversified user demands with ease-of-use.

Abstract: A file folder having front and rear panels, two side panels and a bottom panel which are joined to one another along foldable edges has an arrangement of fold lines which enable the folder to be readily moved between a fully opened condition for use and a collapsed condition for storage. The arrangement of fold lines includes a first fold line which extends across the front panel, and each side panel includes a second fold line which extends downwardly along each of the side panels from the top of the folder toward the bottom panel thereof. Each side panel further includes a third, fourth and fifth fold lines which extend from either an edge of the front panel or from a corresponding corner of the folder to a location at which the third, fourth and fifth fold lines intersect one another.

Abstract: A hanging pocket folder for use with support rails is disclosed. The disclosure includes a method and structure for preventing the side walls thereof from being damaged when the folder is withdrawn from a rail support system. Prior art systems did not recognize the problem of snagging sidewalls withdrawal. The present disclosure provides for side walls which preferably exceed the height of the lower edge of the support rails and thus never snag on withdrawal despite the fact that the accordion sidewall may easily be deformed from use. A further embodiment discloses an elastic sidewall and integral tabs.

Abstract: A semiconductor wafer storage case is disclosed that includes plural support members that are spaced at predetermined intervals with respect to each other and are each configured to come into contact with a peripheral edge region of a first face of a semiconductor wafer, and an elastic member that elastically supports the support members with respect to each other and is configured to elastically deform to come into contact with a second face of the semiconductor wafer and press the semiconductor wafer onto a corresponding support member.

A first holder has a first upper edge and a second holder has a second upper edge and a second lower edge. The second holder is disposed behind the first holder and attached thereto at the second lower edge so that the second upper edge is above the first upper edge. The first holder and second holder are movable with respect to each other about the second lower edge. A method for organizing information includes recording information on a plurality of items of a disposable recording medium in accordance with categories of information, each item corresponding to one category and one subcategory; and arranging those items in the organizer including removing and/or inserting the items.

Abstract: The present invention provides a multifunction and low-cost photoprint storage bag. When paper is die-cut along a pattern to produce development sheets, folds are created simultaneously, thereby achieving simple manufacturing. A multifunction photoprint storage bag can be realized by folding along folds on the die-cut development sheet, which is used as a photoprint storage bag and a photo stand, and further as a sealed letter by folding back in the opposite direction.

Abstract: An expandable business card is described that includes a first foldable page and a second foldable page. The first foldable page has a detachable business card. The second foldable page is connected to a booklet. The first page and second page are interconnected and slidingly engaged. When in a first folded position, the booklet is concealed within the perimeter of the expandable business card. When the expandable business card is opened in the second position, the booklet can expand to a predetermined size to provide an additional area for promotional information. The first page includes a projection that is not visible in the first folded position but then extends for viewing in the second open position.

Abstract: The present invention provides an expandable file folder with separate cases, which has a case placed in the middle of the folder, and which, as a result, has little steadiness and tends to fall down. The first and second cases between the front and rear sides of the expandable storing part are set such that the file holder can be more steady in a standing position. Two separated supporting areas form beneath the two cases. Thus the folder, when placed, will not tend to fall down.

Abstract: A system for a 3-D tab for a folder, a retrofit for existing folders to have a 3-D tab and a method of making same is disclosed. The 3-D tab is created by an extension or attachable element which can be folded onto itself so that one edge surface is at an angle relative to the panels of the file folder allowing it to be read from the side. This also aids in allowing the tab to be fed through a printer.

Abstract: An expandable file folder with a closable pocket has a body, two accordion sides, multiple partitions and at least one closable pocket. A chamber is formed in the body between the accordion sides. The closable pocket is mounted in the chamber and each closable pocket has a front panel a rear panel and a fastener. The front panel is mounted on the rear panel by bonding along sides of the front and rear panels. The fastener is attached to the front and rear panels to selectively close the pocket and may be a resealable zipper, a leaf with a button, hook and loop fasteners or the like. Therefore, the closable pocket may be used conveniently to store non-paper items such as stationary, name cards or the like.
