Abstract: Lost, misplaced, incorrectly delivered, and damaged assets are a common occurrence in shipment or asset tracking. Disclosed are various embodiments concerning a battery-less or intermittent battery use environments in which a node uses internal logic (e.g., circuitry and/or software) that, based at least in part on sensor information and stored information regarding the history of the node, may track events that have occurred to the node. The node may be responsive to events and determine whether exceptions have occurred that require attention. For example, detecting damage might cause the node to update an output to indicate the node and associated material, if any, needs to be rerouted to address the exception.

Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for transaction auditing. One example method includes receiving receipt data associated with an entity. Policy questions associated with the entity are associated with at least one policy question answer that corresponds to a conformance or a violation of a policy selected by the entity. For each policy question, a machine learning policy model is identified for the policy question that includes, for each policy question answer, receipt data features that correspond to the policy question answer. The machine learning policy model is used to automatically determine a selected policy question answer to the policy question by comparing features of extracted tokens to respective receipt data features of the policy question answers that are included in the machine learning policy model. In response to determining that the selected policy question answer corresponds to a policy violation, an audit alert is generated.

  • Patent number: 11061020
Abstract: A system comprised of an apparatus and a test device is described. The test device and the apparatus are designed to interact to determine the presence or absence of an analyte of interest in a sample placed on the test device. The test device and apparatus interact to provide a timer feature for determining a test device specific adjustable cut-off value that is used to ascertain whether signal from a test line in the device corresponds to a positive or negative results, irrespective of the time elapsed since placement of sample on the test device. The adjustable cut-off value renders the system relatively insensitive to incubation time of the test device, where if the incubation time is shorter or longer than needed for accuracy of a test result, the analyzer will report an invalid result, thus preventing the reporting of an incorrect (false negative or false positive) result.

  • Patent number: 11048990
Abstract: One example is directed to a reader device having a first resonance circuit and being configured to interrogate one or more other remotely-located resonance circuits, each associated with a second resonance circuit which may be part of a passive sensor circuit. The first resonance circuit is operated to cause the inductively-coupled oscillating signal to be swept over a range of frequencies and therein cause a jump or sudden transition in a frequency of the oscillating signal while the first and second resonance circuits are in sufficient proximity for inductively-coupling via an oscillating signal via their respective resonance circuits. Sensing circuitry may be used to detect the jump or sudden transition in the frequency of the oscillating signal and, by way of or in response to an indication of timing and/or a set of inductively-related parameters, data is conveyed from the sensor to the reader device via the inductively-coupled oscillating signal.
