Similarly, a second user may provide a second biometric identifier to the same generic transaction card, which may generate a second account number associated with the second user. The encapsulation layers resist moisture permeation, and at least the outer portions of the conductive layers resist moisture permeation. The moisture-resistant electrochromic device can be fabricated based at least in part upon selective removal of one or more outer portions of at least the EC stack, so that at least the encapsulation layer extends over one or more edge portions of the EC stack to isolate the edge portions of the EC stack from the ambient environment. The server searches for the identifier of the card reader that read the access card last time, and the identifier of the access controller corresponding to the card reader, and determines a route for the door opening request. When the determined route exists in a preset list of routes, the sever sends a door opening instruction to the access controller. The route list may include routes between doors under the control of the plurality of access controllers.

Abstract: Novel techniques are described for usage tracking for shared dockless personal transport vehicles (PTVs) over one or more communications networks. Features encourage desired interactions between consumers and PTVs, such as by encouraging consumers to park the PTVs in a desirable condition and in desirable locations. For example, embodiments obtain location data from at least one sensor (e.g., a camera of a smart phone) indicating a parked location of a PTV of a fleet of shared PTVs. A set of parked location attributes is computed in accordance with the obtained location data, and an arbitration determination is computed indicating whether the set of parked location attributes meets a stored set of acceptance criteria. In accordance with a favorable computed arbitration determination, embodiments can output lock control data for a vehicle lock of the PTV (e.g., to lock the PTV in its parked location).

Abstract: A lock system including an electronic lock and a wireless device having a location determining utility configured to determine a location of the wireless device. The electronic lock and the wireless device communicate wirelessly with one another and send commands to and from one another to perform a specific task when the wireless device is within a specified range of the electronic lock. The location of the wireless device and a speed of the wireless device may be used to calculate an estimated arrival of the wireless device at the electronic lock, and the specific task may be performed substantially at the estimated arrival.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for vehicle use and performance restrictions based on detected users. A user may check-in to a vehicle so that the vehicle identifies the user, such as through providing identification to the vehicle using biometrics, logins, or other information. Using the identification, the vehicle may determine parameters and restrictions on use of the vehicle by the user. Parameters may include information about the user, such as age, health, or other statistic stored with the identification for the user, and may be utilized to determine restrictions on use of the vehicle by the user, such as a speed of the vehicle and passengers allowed in the vehicle. Restrictions may also be set for the user, including speeds of travel, routes of travel, and usage of media players in the vehicle. The usage of the vehicle may be monitored and enforced using the restrictions.
