Said container is closed at its opening by said vapour permeable membrane (1) and the fibrous laminate (2), wherein the fibrous laminate (2) is welded to the thermoformed part of the container.

Abstract: An air freshener includes a capsule having a permeable membrane extending across and covering a cavity, and a front surface. A fragrant material is disposed in the cavity of the vessel and is visible through a capsule wall. The fragrant material includes a scent permeating the permeable membrane. A recess is formed in the front surface of the vessel. An insert is coupled in the recess of the front surface with the insert carried directly by the capsule. Indicia is carried by the insert or the recess of the front surface. The air freshener has means for mounting the capsule.

In some embodiments, the apparatus includes a housing having a notch for compressing the rupture element and breaching the rupturable substrate as it is inserted into the housing.

The system may comprise a tube assembly which holds a gas or liquid. The gas or liquid permeates though the fluoropolymer material to be released in precise quantity, resulting in known concentrations of the gas, when mixed with a flowing or carrier gas such as air or nitrogen.

Abstract: A method of providing in an atmosphere both a continual supply of volatile liquid and the possibility for a time of an enhanced supply, comprising providing the liquid (3) in a reservoir (1) with an opening, which opening is covered by a membrane (4) of thickness of from 0.05-0.4 mm so as to define within the reservoir and internal evaporation space (6), the continual supply being provided by liquid evaporating within the internal evaporation space and passing through the membrane, and the enhanced supply being provided by evaporation from liquid absorbed in the membrane which has been brought into contact with the liquid and then separated therefrom. The method is easily carried out with a simple, cheap device. A suitable choice of membrane also gives an end-of-life indication by changing color as liquid absorbed therein is disseminated.

Abstract: Systems and devices for emitting volatile materials are disclosed. In some embodiments, devices for emitting two or more fragrance compositions are disclosed. In one non-limiting embodiment of a device, the device has a housing, and the housing is supported on an electrical outlet by a plug at least indirectly joined to the housing. The device contains a first volatile composition and a second volatile composition. The first volatile composition is emitted in an alternating period relative to said second volatile composition. In one embodiment of the device, the volatile compositions are alternately emitted during periods that are each greater than 15 minutes to about 24 hours in length.

The cover is movably installed to the container body and provided for opening and closing each chamber of the container body, and the cover has a guide passage communicated to the outside and movable to a position corresponding to each chamber separately. Since the container body can contain fragrances of different smells in each chamber and the guide passage of the cover can be moved to a position corresponding to each chamber of the container body, the fragrances in different chambers can be dispersed to the outside to achieve the effects of providing users a choice of fragrances and a diversified application at appropriate time conveniently.

Abstract: An improved scent pad and mechanism for housing the same. The mechanism is preferably a part of a humidifier or similar device and positioned adjacent to a heated surface. The mechanism preferably includes a cover, a keyed portion and a rib portion which allows the scent pad to fit properly and prevents other shaped pads from being inserted into or otherwise used in the housing mechanism, insuring optimal performance. In one embodiment the scent pad includes an upper straight edge, side edges, two lower beveled edges and a lower straight edge situated between the beveled edges. The upper straight edge and lower straight edge are preferably substantially parallel to each other. The side edges are preferably substantially parallel to each other and the beveled edges are preferably arranged at an angle that intersects both the lower straight edge and a side edge.

Supported at its center of gravity from above or below, allowing rotation, the funnel shaped wind channel is continuously aligned with the wind direction by a wind vane. Liquid scent is introduced in the constricted section of the venturi wind channel where the wind velocity is increased. This increased wind speed, and continuous alignment to wind direction, enhances the vaporization of liquid scents that attract wild game, and that mask the scent of a hunter from the wild game's keen sense of smell.
