Abstract: The present invention relates generally to first aid articles and more specifically tourniquets suitable for one handed application. One embodiment of the invention is directed to a tourniquet having a base defining first and second ends. A constricting band is attached to and extends from the first end of the base. A windlass handle is engaged with the constricting band. The constricting band is threaded through a self cinching stepped buckle. A buckle connector includes a hook member that engages the stepped buckle and is partly held in place through urging against a loop of the constriction band.

Abstract: A clip for securing a cushion to an outdoor furniture item is disclosed. The clip includes a middle portion, a first end portion extending transverse to the middle portion and a second portion that extends transverse from the middle portion. The middle portion is longer than each of the first end portion and the second end portion. The end portions are configured to fit through and overlap portions of a loop in the cushion to hold the cushion to a rail of the furniture item.

Abstract: A seal structure for sealing a gap between a first member and a second member of an aircraft includes: a plate spring-shaped first elastic seal; and a second elastic seal. When the first member and the second member are stationary with respect to each other, the first elastic seal elastically deforms between the first member and the second member to seal the gap, whereas the second elastic seal does not seal the gap. When the first member and the second member move closer to each other and the first elastic seal is elastically deformed, the second elastic seal elastically deforms between the first member and the second member to seal the gap.

Abstract: A multi-functional article easily attachable to and adjustable along a strap, without having to either disassemble or modify the strap in any fashion. The attachment article includes a base configured with an interior cutout profile defining a pair of inwardly projecting tabs with contoured opposing edges configured to receive a strap in manipulated engaging fashion in order to mount the article to the strap. An integrally defined end portion extends from an edge of the base, typically in a reverse angled fashion, and defines a catch operable in multiple variants to either prevent abrading of a rifle sling, backpack strap, or the like as well as being operable in a further variant to provide a vertical load supporting article.

Abstract: A furniture clip to attach to the ends of a webbing strap in a system of webbing for an article of furniture. The clip is provided with prongs to be inserted into a groove provided on the framework of the article of furniture. The clip is further provided with teeth to retain the strap, wherein the strap is inserted into the clip and a user clamps the clip onto the strap using a pair of pliers or a vice. When clamped onto a strap, the prongs of the clip protrude at a 45-degree or 90-degree angle. The angle may be modified to accommodate furniture which requires the prongs to protrude at angles other than 45 or 90 degrees.

Abstract: One design embodiment of a holder for a container comprising: one or more bands each capable of retaining a container inside the band(s), with straps attached to and extending away from the exterior of the band(s); with fasteners on the ends of each strap such that container within the band or bands are held in a stable position relative to a harness to be worn by a user. The design embodiment allows easy attachment, use and deployment of containers in a variety of environmental conditions and situational uses, including but not limited to the carrying of gas supplies for underwater divers.

The assembly may include an identifying band configured to be wrapped around a portion of an animal. The identifying band may include at least one protuberance proximate a first end and at least one reciprocal aperture proximate a second end. The aperture(s) is configured to receive and retain the protuberance(s). The assembly also includes a securing strap configured to be selectively secured to, and removed from, the identifying band. The securing strap and the identifying band are configured to be reused.

Abstract: A garment strap clip has a closed upper loop and an open lower loop. The lower loop is formed by a hinged or unhinged arm extending from a first end of the upper loop that terminates in a first connector. The first connector engages with a second connector extending from a point near the second end of the upper loop to close the lower loop. The upper and lower loops are generally co-planar and are in immediate connection with one another. A tube can be attached to the upper loop to retrofit the clip. Alternatively, the upper loop is replaced by a tube for retrofitting the clip.

The strap comprises a first portion (1) having a tensioner end (2), the tensioner end including and terminating at a tensioner (3). In use, the second portion passes through the tensioner and the clip is releasably securable onto the second portion.

Abstract: An accessory holder for retaining accessories around the body of a user is provided. The holder includes a circular or oval-like perimeter with a central support that divides the device into two half-moon openings. The frame of the accessory holder is made of a flexible wire that is capable of being bent or folded into a variety of configurations, whereby the form is retained throughout the day. An elastomeric or rubber coating may be applied to the frame to add to the aesthetic appeal of the device. An accessory fabric, such as a scarf, may be inserted into the half-moon shaped openings of the holder. The ends of the scarf may be looped, weaved, or otherwise secured through the accessory holder. A user may secure the scarf around the waist, neck, or other suitable part of the body with the accessory holder maintaining the desired orientation of the accessory.

A substantially rigid arm is mounted to the ring and extends to a free distal end spaced from the ring, with the arm forming a substantially elongated opening with the ring. A leash may be attached to the ring. When the restraining apparatus is applied to the animal as a harness, the coupling element is fastened to the collar, and the leash is wrapped around the torso of the animal, engages the arm at the elongated opening, and may freely slide and tighten around the torso of the animal.

The cable fastener is a hollow frame formed by two first side walls disposed at an interval along the length direction and two second side walls. A plurality part of a cable with equal length is respectively mounted into the opening of each cable fastener, passed through the convex bodies and secured in the frame. A plurality of bend points is formed on the cable along the length direction so that the cable is bent into bundles. The cable management and positioning is achieved.

Abstract: An improved seatbelt adjuster for holding the lap seatbelt to the shoulder belt of an automobile seatbelt. The seatbelt adjuster prevents the shoulder belt from rubbing against the neck of a wearer. The adjuster is made of a single unitary piece and therefore cannot be separated. A frame member formed of resilient material has a front portion, rear portion, top edge, bottom edge and space between the front and back portions for containing the lap seatbelt. A parallel pair of dual gussets and rails is molded into the back portion to increase the stiffness of the flap member particularly to prevent it spreading open in hot weather. A snap clip has been added to the flap to avoid inadvertent release in hot weather. A horn gate has been added to the slot to prevent snagging on clothing.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a buckle assembly employing a ladder lock. The ladder lock includes a pair of oppositely disposed longitudinal rungs. A set of lateral rungs are centrally positioned and serve to interconnect to longitudinal rungs. A central length of webbing is threaded through the longitudinal rungs, whereby the ladder lock can be freely adjusted along the length of the central webbing. Two lengths of side webbing are threaded through opposite sides of the lateral rungs. Anchor rungs can be included for securing each of the side webbings. In this manner, the two side webbings can be positively secured to the ladder lock, yet side to side adjustments can be achieved via the lateral rungs.

In embodiments of the invention, a wire buckle fastener includes a retention tab coupled to an inside shoulder of the buckle. In alternative embodiments of the invention, the retention tab may be configured as a loop or an open curve.

For example, in one embodiment, a sling system for an object, such as a firearm or weapon, can be provided. The sling system can include a sling operable to mount an object to a portion of a person's body, wherein the sling comprises at least one adjustment loop. The sling system can also include an adjuster mounted to a portion of the at least one adjustment loop. Furthermore, the sling system can include a quick tab adjuster operable to change the size of the at least one adjustment loop, wherein the length of the sling can be changed when the sling is mounted to a portion of a person's body.

One of the materials is softer than the other to minimize noise when the tongue plate engages against interior components of the vehicle such as during rough ride conditions. In this manner, the tongue plate herein eliminates at least one of the insert molds needed for prior over molded latch plates, thus providing manufacturing and cost efficiencies thereover.
