Abstract: A modular system for a container with MOLLE webbing is described, comprising a two component coupling system including: 1), a clip component which couples to the MOLLE on the container; and 2), a bracket component that couples to the clip and support various modular subcomponents. The same modular accessory system works with hard coolers while allowing the lid to close flat against the lip of the bucket while the modular accessories are in use.

Abstract: A poly tape accessory for an electric fence gate handle, the combination of the poly tape accessory and an electric fence gate handle configured to accommodate the poly tape accessory, and a method of securing the poly tape to the accessory is provided. The accessory is electrically conductive and includes a neck and a head with a plurality of slots through which the poly tape is woven to secure the poly tape while retaining adjustability. The neck of the accessory has a locating feature and a locking tab by which the accessory can be removably coupled to an electric fence gate handle through a quarter-turn motion of the accessory relative to the gate handle without the need for any tools.

Abstract: A shoulder strap system having a shoulder strap attached to a device for supporting or carrying the device on a person's shoulder. The system has a tri-glide slide and a pull attached to the tri-glide slide. A length of the should strap is adjustable by the person pulling on the pull by one hand in either an upward or downward direction, thereby allowing the length to be adjusted without requiring the person to unsling the strap.

Abstract: An auxiliary strap assembly provides a simple, adjustable strap device for mounting objects to an underlying load bearing platform. In some implementations, the strap assembly includes an elongate anchor body that provides support to the object(s) being secured and/or to the underlying load bearing platform. The strap assembly can be adapted for connection to ladder webbing, such as Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS) or HEXGRID® mounting system.

Abstract: A belt has a belt buckle and a belt strap. The belt can be part of a modular belt system that provides multiple straps and/or multiple buckles that can be assembled in different combinations. Preferably, the assembly of a custom belt can be accomplished in an in-store or point-of-sale environment. In some implementations, the strap can be coupled to the buckle without sewing or other processes that require expensive machinery and/or are time consuming. In some implementations, the strap is threaded to the buckle.

Abstract: An auxiliary strap assembly provides a simple, adjustable strap device for mounting objects to an underlying load bearing platform. In some implementations, the strap assembly includes an elongate anchor body that provides support to the object(s) being secured and/or to the underlying load bearing platform. Abstract: Implementations of a garment length adjuster are provided. In some implementations, the garment length adjuster comprises a frame defining an interior opening and a plurality of elongated projections having a gap between adjacent projection or a projection and side where each projection extends from a first side toward second opposite side within the interior opening. In some implementations, the garment length adjuster is used to adjust the length of a garment by routing one or more straps of the garment over thought one or more gaps and one or more projections of the garment length adjuster.

Abstract: A slipcover hook includes a first closed ring and a second open ring connected to the first closed ring. The second open ring has a slot located in spaced relation to the lateral sides of the hook. In one embodiment, the intermediate slot is located equidistantly from the lateral sides (i.e., in or proximate to the center). The first and second closed ring are coplanar. The central opening is configured to permit the passage of a loop of fabric through the gap or opening so that the loop can be introduced into or removed from the second opening.

The lock pin includes a feature receivable within the stabilizing recess, engageable with a base of the stabilizing recess to limit the distance by which the lock pin can be inserted into the opening.

Abstract: A ski shoe harness includes a sole, a receiver, and a heel strap. The sole includes a binding mechanism adapted to engage a binding system of a ski. The sole and the receiver are attached and define a space to receive the front portion of a shoe. The heel strap, attached to the receiver, wraps around the rear portion of the shoe, interlocking the ski shoe harness with the shoe. Further, the heel strap includes an adjustment mechanism. Using the ski shoe harness of the present invention, non-ski shoes and boots of a various designs and sizes may be used to share and utilize skis having common cross-country binding systems.

Abstract: A buckle includes a female part having a housing and an engaging portion provided at an inner surface of the housing, and a male part including a base and an inserted portion to be inserted into the housing of the female part. The inserted portion includes a base end coupled to the base, a free end opposite to the base end, and an engaged portion to be engaged with the engaging portion. When a force is applied to the male part for pulling the male part out of the housing, the engaged portion has a contact surface that is in contact with the engaging portion. Relative to a first center point at the center of the base end in the thickness direction of the inserted portion, a second center point at the center of the contact surface in the thickness direction is positioned downward.

Abstract: A child safety seat includes a seat back having a routing opening, a seat bottom connected to the seat back for cooperatively providing a seating space with the seat back, a bridge plate having a slot portion and a bending portion, and a safety harness having a shoulder strap and a central adjusting strap. The shoulder strap has two shoulder strap portions slidably routed from a front side of the seat back to a rear side of the seat back through the routing opening. Two rear ends of the two shoulder strap portions located at the rear side of the seat back are permanently coupled to each other through the slot portion. The central adjusting strap is slidably routed to the rear side of the seat back through the seat bottom to be detachably attached to the bending portion for adjusting tightness of the safety harness.

Abstract: Systems and methods for adjustable straps are disclosed. In various exemplary embodiments, adjustable slider-like mechanisms are configured with one or more protrusions for inserting through corresponding slits in a garment strap, for example a brassiere strap. In this manner, adjustable straps may be fixed in place and resist slippage, leading to improved wearer comfort and reducing or eliminating the need for regular adjustment.

Abstract: A system for heating a pipeline comprises a heater that heats a fluid, a supply line, and a return line. Heated fluid flows through the supply line away from the heater and through the return line back to the heater. The system further comprises a strap having a first end, a second end, and a middle portion between the first end and the second end. The strap forms a first pocket when the first end is folded over and attached to the middle portion of the strap. The strap forms a second pocket when the second end is folded over and attached to the middle portion of the strap. The first pocket holds the supply line in thermal contact with a first portion of the pipeline. The second pocket holds the return line in thermal contact with a second portion of the pipeline.

Abstract: Strap fasteners inhibit undesirable adjustment of garment straps, such as bra straps. The strap fasteners may have a clamshell configuration designed to encompass an adjustable portion of a bra strap to prevent movement of the bra strap or prevent movement of an adjustable element of the bra strap. In particular, strap fasteners minimize or prevent movement of a slider that controls the adjustment of a bra strap.

Abstract: A two-part tray apparatus that includes a base tray having a desk surface for drawing and writing and a food tray having four food compartments. A resilient bottom of the base tray may rest on a lap. The food tray is nestable into the base tray and is nonslideable relative to the base tray. The base tray includes a proximal side with no upwardly extending walls to make it easy for a child to write or draw on the desk surface. Strap units are included to anchor opposite ends of the tray apparatus or may be connected to each other to form a full length shoulder strap.

Abstract: A strap tab assembly has a strap tab defining a substantially square-shaped locking hole located generally at a first end, and an elongated slot on a second end. The strap tab assembly includes a top cap defining a top cover, a square-shaped locking projection corresponding in shape to the locking hole, and a female portion forming a center channel and extending beyond and concentric with the locking projection. A bottom cap has a male portion adapted for being received in the center channel of the female portion to engage the top cap. The locking projection extends beyond the periphery of the female portion, and is configured and dimensioned to correspond to and engage an inner periphery of the locking hole.

Abstract: Swimming goggles include a frame body, lenses, buckles attached to left and right portions of the frame body, and a head strap passed through the buckles. Each of the buckles has a base having a connecting portion and a guiding portion, and an operating portion. With the head strap being frictional engaged with the guiding portions and retained by the operating portion and being stretched after wearing of the swimming goggles, the head strap is adjustable through the buckles without taking off the swimming goggles, so as to provide a quick and easy adjustment, and a lower cost of manufacturing because of simplified structure.

Abstract: A loop engaging G-hook with a metal interior having a polymer covering. The metal interior remains uncovered in selected regions which engage the connection strap and loops during use. One uncovered region may be a wave-form crossbar in a threading eyelet engaging the strap. Another uncovered portion may define an inwardly projecting ridge disposed along the inboard edge of the hooking arm adapted to extend through the loops. The selective combination of bare and covered metal provides a high level of strength in a low profile hook structure.

Abstract: A mask assembly includes nasal interface, e.g., in the form of a pair of nozzles, at least one joining portion provided to each side of the nasal interface, and a headgear coupled or otherwise provided to or extending from the joining portion, that is looped around the patient's ears. The joining portion is small and compact and may be readily affixed to an existing nasal arrangement, i.e., retrofitted. The joining portion and the headgear can be formed in separate components, or they can be formed as an integral or one-piece arrangement.

Abstract: An adjustable strap assembly has a strap, a slider, and an end connector for connection to a garment. An end of the strap is attached to the slider, and the strap passes through the end connector and through the slider. The end connector has a bar around which the strap passes, and defines a slot in front of the bar under an outer plate, such that the portions of the strap on either side of the bar both pass through the slot. The slot holds the two parts of the strap together and flat, making the assembly thinner.

Abstract: The invention relates generally to the field of fasteners used with flexible strapping to secure cargo. In embodiments of the invention, a wire buckle fastener includes a retention tab coupled to an inside shoulder of the buckle. The retention tab prevents the inside shoulder from being pulled through a base of the buckle when the buckle is in use. In alternative embodiments of the invention, the retention tab may be configured as a loop or an open curve.

Abstract: A bra fastener assembly that includes at least two fasteners each attached to the shoulder straps at corresponding distances through a positioning element; between the two fasteners there is a detachable connective element; the positioning element includes the shoulder strap opening in the fastener, the shoulder strap opening includes the positioning element to fix in position the fastener on the shoulder strap, the positioning element includes the first pin within the shoulder strap opening. Through the element the two fasteners can be fixed in position on the bra shoulder strap, at the same time the two fasteners can detach or connect, when connected the fasteners secure the shoulder straps so they stay in the set position, keeping the distance between the shoulder straps fixed, thus preventing the shoulder straps from slipping and the fastener is interchangeable. Different positioning elements for the bra fastener assembly are provided.

Abstract: A fast lock fixing clip for vehicle seatbelt includes: a front clip plate including a front clip plate main body having a first end, a second end and a turning auxiliary plate; a rear clip plate including a rear clip plate main body having a first end, a second end and a seatbelt pressing plate; a pivotal device for rotatably connecting the second ends of the front and rear clip plate main bodies; and a latch device for latching/unlatching the first ends of the front and rear clip plate main bodies with each other. When mounted on the seatbelt, the fast lock fixing clip will automatically turns upward to fold the seatbelt. In case of collision, when the folded seatbelt is abruptly straightened, the end of the seatbelt is instantaneously strongly accelerated to more sensitively and quickly activate the automatic locking device of the seatbelt to lock the seatbelt.

Abstract: Buckle assemblies for use with child seats and other personal restraint systems in vehicles are disclosed herein. A buckle assembly configured in accordance with one embodiment of the disclosure includes a housing assembly that receives at least a portion of a web connector. The housing assembly includes a coating having a generally soft or tactile surface finish. For example, the coating can be at least partially elastically compressible.

Abstract: A slidable buckle for a seatbelt includes a cover which has a number of ribs extending from the cover. The ribs function to limit noise caused by the buckle and webbing coming in contact with a vehicle's interior trim, while at the same time providing a softer, grippable surface for the buckle.

Abstract: A buckle for securing a strap for goods, comprising a body having two side walls and bars extending between these side walls, which bar or bars provided with a peripheral roughening, wherein at least one tensioning side of the body of the bar or bars are provided with a profile which allows the strap to pass through, and that the lease strain on the strap causes the profile to bite into the strap.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention relates to a releasable coupling system comprising a base, a lengthwise member, and a buckle. The lengthwise member is fixably coupled to the base parallel to the lengthwise dimension and substantially medial with respect to the widthwise dimension. The buckle comprises a planar surface and a first and second hooked region extending from the planar surface oriented opposite one another. The first and second hooked regions and the planar surface define a partially enclosed region corresponding to the widthwise dimension and the base rise dimension of the lengthwise member. A gap in the partially enclosed region corresponds to a coupling between the lengthwise member and the base.

Abstract: A strap buckle made from a single piece of bent material, the bent material forming a first generally U-shaped portion; a second generally U-shaped portion; and an elongated intermediary portion between the first and second generally U-shaped portions; the first generally U-shaped portion having a distal leg, a proximal leg shorter than the distal leg, and an intermediate bight between the distal and proximal legs; the second generally U-shaped portion having a distal leg, a proximal leg shorter than the distal leg, and an intermediate bight between the distal and proximal legs, such that the distal legs are located in the same plane, are parallel to one another, and extend perpendicularly to the elongated intermediary portion. The interweaving of these portions provides the buckling functionality as well as the non-slippage feature.

Abstract: A chest strap arrangement for an attachable arrangement removably attachable to a user and having a first torso strap and a second torso strap. The chest strap arrangement includes: a strap member with a first portion and a second portion; a first buckle having at least one substantially horizontal slot through which the first torso strap extends; and a second buckle having at least one substantially horizontal slot through which the second torso strap extends. In one embodiment, the cross sectional thickness of at least a portion of an outer end area of a buckle is greater than the cross sectional thickness of at least a portion of an inner end area of the buckle.

Abstract: The buckle includes a first and a second clamp member positioned substantially parallel to one another. End members are provided at the opposite ends of the first clamp member. The buckle includes a set of pliable wall directly interconnecting one of the end members to the second clamp member. The pliable walls are subjected to a permanent plastic deformation when the second clamp member is moved closer to the first clamp member.

Abstract: Buckle and respirators having such buckles. The buckle has a movable cinch bar allowing a strap to be inserted into and be secured by the buckle by opening the cinch bar and inserting the strap. The cinch bar then returns to a closed position and supports the strap over the cinch bar. The cinch bar may be deformable through the use of a living hinge connecting the cinch bar to the body of the buckle. The cinch bar may be split into two members, each being deformably coupled to the buckle body, perhaps with living hinges.

Abstract: An adjustable strap assembly has a strap, a slider, and an end connector for connection to a garment. An end of the strap is attached to the slider, and the strap passes through the end connector and through the slider. The end connector has a bar around which the strap passes, and defines a slot in front of the bar under an outer plate, such that the portions of the strap on either side of the bar both pass through the slot. The slot holds the two parts of the strap together and flat, making the assembly thinner.

Abstract: The invention relates to an integral protective work clothing item comprising releasable integrated retaining elements and a digitally-activated retaining fastener. The inventive clothing item includes a harness and a retractable mechanism for securing a user to a standard lifeline. The item also comprises additional protective elements, such as a helmet, gloves and shoes which are connected thereto by means of respective elastic bands. Each of said bands is equipped with a hole for a fastener device that can only be released using a device designed for said purpose. The digitally-activated fastener comprises an electromagnet, a mobile discoidal part and a spring element. The cover of the fastener casing is provided with a hole and a tubular formation in which a pin or rod can be inserted and guided.

Abstract: A side buckle of swimming goggles is approximately formed into a strip shape. The side buckle has a retaining clip and a retaining groove respectively at two ends thereof. The retaining clip has two shaft rods and a step-shaped urging portion. The retaining groove has two shaft holes and a belt hole. A connecting portion is formed between the retaining clip and the retaining groove. The retaining clip and the retaining groove may be locked to each other after the connecting portion is bent. Thereby, the side buckle of swimming goggles is fitted at side edges of a pair of swimming goggles and connected to a belt. The connecting portion is pressed to trigger the operation of the retaining clip to loosen or fasten the belt, so as to quickly adjust a length of the belt.

The device includes a long, thin material, having a first end, a second end, and a body extending between the first end and the second end. The long, thin material is formed into a plurality of opposing segments. A first of the plurality of opposing segments is continuous with a first end of a second of the plurality of the opposing segments at a first junction, and a first end of the third of the plurality of opposing segments is continuous with a second end of the second of the plurality of the opposing segments at a second junction. A fourth of the plurality of opposing segments is continuous with a second end of the third of the plurality of the opposing segments at a third junction.

Abstract: A user selectable interchangeable bra system enables user to customize the selection, style, construction, and usage of a bra both through component purchase and interchangeable fit. An infinite number of different size, color and fits are possible, as well as underwire interchangeableness. The center connector can be selected to provide for user selectable cup separation. Buckle type shoulder strap fittings can be provided with a tiny loop to support body jewelry, and because the shoulder straps are reversible, the body jewelry can be worn on the front or back upper chest, especially where the jewelry can appear to come from underneath the dress to give an appearance of a much more extensive jewelry extent.

Abstract: Buckle and respirators having such buckles. The buckle has a movable cinch bar allowing a strap to be inserted into and be secured by the buckle by opening the cinch bar and inserting the strap. The cinch bar then returns to a closed position and supports the strap over the cinch bar. The cinch bar may be deformable through the use of a living hinge connecting the cinch bar to the body of the buckle. The cinch bar may be split into two members, each being deformably coupled to the buckle body, perhaps with living hinges.

Abstract: A latch-type tightening device structure comprises a body constituted by a seat and a housing, wherein an interior of the body is provided with a one-way braking mechanism which enables a rope to glide in one direction. A rope enters into and reeves around the tightening device by which the rope can be gliding in one direction latching. A front edge of the body is provided with a tenon or a latching slot, such that the tightening device can be quickly locked with a fitting part in application.

Abstract: A water heater restraint has brackets and a buckle to allow a flexible strap to hold a water heater to a support. The bracket has two slots separated by a bar with one end of the strap threaded through the slots to form a loop encircling the bar so that friction or stitching holds the loop from unthreading. A buckle has two similar slots separated by a bar all located on a spring tang with access occurring through a slot in a base plate, so that when the bar is moved toward the base plate the strap is bound between the base plate and the spring tang to restrain motion of the strap. A projection on either the spring tang or on a sidewall extension of the base plate provides a releasable locking mechanism to lock the spring tang in position and lock the strap against movement.
