Abstract: Shoulder strap ring hardware is comprised of multiple connected runs made from a hard material such as metal where certain of the runs having a coating or shield of non-abrasive somewhat resilient with an increased effective diameter or radius so that the metal or hard material will be precluded from undesirably engaging against a surface.

Abstract: A strap adjuster may include a main body and enlarged adjustment engagement areas configured to allow a user to easily adjust a strap secured to the strap adjuster. The main body may include an engagement wall connected to a strap-retaining wall and lateral walls. At least one strap passage is formed through the main body. The enlarged adjustment engagement areas may be proximate the engagement wall and are wider than the strap and strap passage. In order to loosen the strap for adjustment, the main body is pivoted with respect to the strap.

Abstract: A buckle for capturing and releasably retaining an end tab of a flexible strap wherein the flexible strap has a substantially uniform width and thickness and an end tab of increased thickness. The buckle includes a base, and parallel side walls, which extend upwardly from and cooperate with the base to define an open-ended receiving channel having an entry end and an exit end. Flanges are spaced vertically from the base and extend inwardly in cantilever fashion from the side walls to define an opening-ended slot communicating with and extending along the length of the receiving channel. The slot is configured and dimensioned to accommodate longitudinal pinching and lateral insertion of the strap into the receiving channel. The flanges have undersides configured to accommodate receipt of the end tab in the receiving channel via the entry end, and to releasably retain and prevent withdrawal of the end tab from the receiving channel via the exit end.

Abstract: A strap retainer device and method for retaining a first object to a second object, the device including a body that is generally planar with an outer periphery portion, the body including a first end portion and a substantially oppositely disposed second end portion. The first end portion is adapted to attach to the first object and the second end portion includes a slot therethrough that is closed at both ends, the second end portion also includes a tortuous passageway therethrough that extends from the outer periphery portion to be in communication with the slot. The tortuous access passageway is operational to allow the strap to be selectably manually positioned from the outer periphery portion to the slot and selectably manually positioned from the slot to the outer periphery portion, wherein the tortuous access passageway helps restrict the strap from inadvertently dislodging from the slot to the outer periphery portion.

Abstract: A strap retainer device and method for retaining a first object to a second object, the device including a body that is generally planar with an outer periphery portion, the body including a first end portion and a substantially oppositely disposed second end portion. The first end portion is adapted to attach to the first object and the second end portion includes a slot therethrough that is closed at both ends, the second end portion also includes a tortuous passageway therethrough that extends from the outer periphery portion to be in communication with the slot. The tortuous access passageway is operational to allow the strap to be selectably manually positioned from the outer periphery portion to the slot and selectably manually positioned from the slot to the outer periphery portion, wherein the tortuous access passageway helps restrict the strap from inadvertently dislodging from the slot to the outer periphery portion.

Abstract: A brassiere shoulder strap connector is shaped so that the shoulder strap is positioned at a desired angle to better accommodate the anatomy of the wearer's shoulder. Preferably, the connector has a triangular shape.

Abstract: A lingerie strap and slide assembly has the central bar of the slide of set or recessed and formed with spikes to which the strap end is welded. The slide has its thickest portions at the centers of the transverse bars at which the central bar merges with the remainder of the slide. The strap passes around the central bar or directly through one of the slots to a ring and returns through that slot across the central bar and through the other slot in the slide to the shoulder of the wearer.

Abstract: A cleat comprising a body comprising a first portion and that defines a web cutout and a tent pole cutout, and a second portion that defines a guy rope cutout, and the body comprising a bend where the first portion and the second portion meet. The cleat is made of steel or other non-cast metal, and can withstand loading imposed by humans and ratchets without failing. In an embodiment, the first portion comprises a rectangular shape and the second portion comprises a trapezoidal shape, and the first portion and the second portion meet at a bend. The cleat further comprises a web wrapping portion formed adjacent to the web cutout, and a clip is provided. The clip is received in the web cutout and fitted about the web wrapping portion, the clip for preventing a canopy web of a tent from wearing out when the cleat is attached to the canopy web.

Accordingly, anti-gum up property can be improved largely.

The device comprises a body, a top surface, a bottom surface, and a perimeter. The top surface and the bottom surface of the device may be separated by a constant or a variable depth. The body of the device is provided with at least two “lateral” apertures positioned laterally on opposite sides of a center on the body. The body is further provided with at least one “central” aperture positioned between the lateral apertures, and preferably near the center of the body.

Abstract: An information displaying arrangement and method for items of soft-goods displaying in a stack, uses a band engaged around each item and spanning an edge of the item, and a tag having a pair of slots with the tag being threaded on the band which extends through the slots. The tag is at the edge of the item, so that the information printed on the tag is visible at the edge even with the item in a stack of such items.

Abstract: The combination of a soft-goods item of folded fabric adapted to be displayed in a stack, and labeling for each item, has at least one band engaged around the item, spanning at least one of the narrow edge surfaces of the item. A self-supporting tag has a pair of slots spaced from each other and defining a labeling information carrying portion therebetween, and a pair of straps extending along each slot. The tag is threaded on the band which extends through both of the slots, and the tag is positioned at the edge surface so that the labeling information carrying portion is visible at the edge surface in a stack of the such items.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a detachable style buckle which is detachable from a strap end portion. The detachable end of the strap is attached to a member which is detachable mounted to a buckle body and that can be quickly and reliably detached from the buckle body. The buckle is constructed to releasably retain another strap end portion therein.

Abstract: A two-part buckle is provided with springing structure associated with web securing structures of the buckle parts, and with structure allowing deflection within the buckle part to at least partly absorb tensile forces applied to the buckle.

Abstract: A structure of an adjusting buckle for a shoulder strap includes an integrally formed adjusting buckle body and a press-release button, wherein the adjusting buckle body has two inner slots and two outer slots, the press-release button has a bottom formed with two protuberances configured and positioned to engaged the two outer slots, and the shoulder strap is made of silicone and passes through the two inner slots, whereby when the press-release button is engaged with the adjusting buckle body, the shoulder strap will be kept in a firm position.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus and method for stabilizing a joint between two sections of corrugated pipe. A first section of corrugated pipe is associated with a second section to form a joint. One flexible member with two ends is looped around the first section of pipe, secured against a corrugation, and the two ends are associated and tightened. A section of the flexible member is left as a tail. A second flexible member is installed the same way on the second section of pipe, again with a section left as a tail. Each tail is then stretched across the joint, threaded between the other flexible member and pipe, brought back across the joint, and cinched forming two axially aligned supports secured against a corrugation, such that two axially aligned support are formed.

Abstract: A device carrier for carrying an electronic device includes a pouch having a rear wall and a pair of straps. Each strap has a first end, a second end and a side. The first ends of the straps are coupled with the rear wall at a distance from one another. Each strap further includes a first section of hook and loop fastening material coupled with the side and proximate to the second end. Each strap also has a second section of complimentary hook and loop fastening material coupled with the side and located between the second end and the first section of hook and loop material. Further, each strap has a buckle coupled with the rear wall. Each strap is secured to the corresponding buckle by placing the second end through the buckle and looping the first end over onto itself so that the first and second sections of hook and loop fastening material are directed toward one another and coupled together.

Abstract: A disposable surgical gown of back-closable type includes a basic body composed of a front body, first and second rear bodies separated from each other and a pair of sleeves. The first and second rear bodies are in advance developed in a circumferential direction and folded back onto the front body so that free side edge regions of the rear bodies lie on the outer surface of the front body. The free side edge regions are connected to each other by a tape member which has its transversely opposite side regions bonded to the respective free side edge regions at longitudinally middle zones thereof so as to extend in the circumferential direction and a perforation extending in a longitudinal direction between the opposite side regions along which perforation 16 the tape member may be cut off in two in the circumferential direction.

Abstract: The buckle of the invention provides a secure and essentially irreversible means for securing parts of the straps, ideally about compressed inbaled material and/or baled material that is prone to shrinkage. The clip (1) comprises a single component that can easily and quickly be applied by hand and associated strapping maybe re-tensioned as appropriate without removing the clip or straps from or about the baled material. The clip is made to rotate about approximately 180°, whereby forces at a resilient nose portion (8A, 8B) of a gripping member (4A, 4B) are caused to clamp down on a part of a strap.

The first and second side edges and the first and second ends cooperating with the partitions to define a plurality of strap guiding holes arranged in the longitudinal direction. One of the first and second side edges partially defining a first outermost one of the strap guiding holes lying adjacent the first end. The other of the first and second side edges partially defining a second outermost one of the strap guiding holes lying adjacent the second end.

The structure includes a first shoulder strap, a second shoulder strap, a ratchet buckle, an upper buckle, and a lower buckle. The first shoulder strap and the second shoulder strap are superimposed in the ratchet buckle such that one end of the first shoulder strap is held by the upper buckle which is fastened to the golf bag, and such that one end of the second shoulder strap is held by the lower buckle which is fastened to the golf bag.

Abstract: A spur comprises a U-shaped heel section and a neck. The heel section shows a basis, at which the neck is fitted to and which heel section shows two lateral legs starting from the basis. Also, the heel section is cut to size out of a sheet metal and is bent in a U-shape. The heel section is also embossed so that the legs have a profile deviating from a rectangular cross-section shape of the blank.

Abstract: Adjustable belts include new and improved belt buckles which allow for convenient adjustment of belt lengths, as well as secure and easily adjustable couplings of the two ends of the belts. This is accomplished by providing the belt buckles with an arrangement of slots and struts around which the belt is looped to selectively accumulate its length thereon and through which the belt is trained, so as to frictionally retain the belt on the buckle while determining the length of the belt.

Abstract: An apparatus for adjusting the width of the waistband of a skirt or a pair of trousers, includes a U-shaped clip which slides onto the waistband perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the waistband. The U-shaped clip has two limbs which are interconnected on the top sides thereof and which run substantially parallel to each other. The waistband is arranged in a fold formed by the waist band passing by the clip, substantially parallel thereto, first to one limb of the clip. The waistband loops around the first limb before running back in an opposite direction, between the two limbs of the clip, to the second limb. The waistband further loops around the second limb before finally being guided back in the opposite direction. Each side of the clip is also provided with an arm which extends vertically. The arms are provided near the plane defined by the clip and fit on a respective outer flank of the fold on a side facing away from the U-shaped clip.

The assembly comprises an elongated, extruded gripper clip has a planar backing base pivotable distal-most poster receiving edge. The assembly includes an elongated, extruded receiving shell with a gripper clip receiving channel centrally arranged therein and an edge slot at a lowermost portion of the shell members. The gripper clip is slidably received within the receiving channel. The gripper clip has its distalmost receiving edge extending distally beyond the edge slot of the shell to permit display and exchange of a poster or picture therefrom.

Abstract: The buckle includes a web adjustment member which further includes a first lacing bar, a second lacing bar and a third lacing bar about which webbing is laced. The first and second lacing bars are positioned relatively proximate to each other so that a pinch point is formed in the webbing proximate to the first and second lacing bars. This pinch point resists loosening of the webbing with respect to the buckle. A third lacing bar, which is relatively distant from the first and second lacing bars, maintains the pinch point during rotation of the buckle.

The retainer includes a tensionlock portion and a sewable funnel-shaped retainer portion having an internal cavity for receiving a flexible article. The retainer portion is provided with a sewing groove to receive stitches to permanently secure the flexible article in the internal cavity.

Abstract: A harness for securing a hand to a ski-pole grip, the harness including a thumb hole, a protector element extending from an area between a thumb and a forefinger of the hand to a wrist area, surrounding at least partially a thumb-side outer edge of the hand, and at least one wrist-encircling tightening strap, wherein the protector is provided with at least one adjustment strap, extending in a substantially wrist-encircling direction and fitted with a fastening buckle which is intended for cooperation with the tightening strap and whose position along the adjustment strap is adjustable longitudinally of the adjustment strap according to a size of the hand.

Abstract: A buckle is shown having two side members that define an upper face and a lower face, with at least three stationary transverse members disposed between and connecting facing inner surfaces of the side members. The three transverse members are substantially parallel to each other and define therebetween belt passageways through which a belt can be threaded and looped around a center one of the transverse members to adjustably secure the belt relative to the buckle. A flange protrudes into one of the belt passageways from substantially the entire length of the center transverse member. The flange is angled toward a first end of the belt passageway, and the distal end of the flange is spaced from the adjacent transverse member by an amount that is slightly larger than the thickness of the belt to be threaded through the belt passageway. The flange prevents threading of a belt through the belt passageway from the first end of the passageway.

Abstract: A backsack (48) comprises a bag (51 ), a strap (30), a pair of robust ring spring clips (38, 66) and generally four pellets (26, 28). The bag is folded and glued of a single sheet of printable paper-like, yet high-strength material to have side gussets (55) and a flat bottom (52). The flat bottom (52) comprises folded and glued flaps (21, 23) which advantageously form corner pockets (22). The top of the bag is turned (87), with reinforcements affixed under the cuff. Two holes (88) are punched through all four layers of the collapsed bag resulting in eight holes (88) when the bag is open. With the bag still collapsed, the strap (30) is threaded through one of the two holes, back through the other, and serves as a closure at the top, leach of the two equal length portions of the strap (30) emerges from its hole and loops down to form shoulder loops. A pellet (28) is placed into each bottom corner pocket (22). The coils of the pair of ring spring clips (40, 42 and 68, 70) are pried apart with a tool (34).

Abstract: A hook closure for lingerie has an arcuate base from which a hook bar and an eye bar extend, the eye bar being provided with a slot defined between a thin and thick limb. A thick sewing flange projects away from the slot and enables the closure to be stitched to the fabric of a strapping passing to the eye and thereby limits shifting of the closure relative to the strap.

Abstract: A device for use in safely positioning a shoulder belt upon a child seated in a booster set, the strap comprising in combination with a shoulder belt positioning strap, the strap having a first end, a second end and an intermediate extent therebetween means to couple the first end of the belt to a booster seat; a shoulder belt clip secured to the second end of the belt; and the shoulder belt clip having a semicircular recess at a lower extent adapted to receive the second end of the strap, the shoulder belt clip having an opened upper extent, an aperture with diametrically opposed inwardly directed protrusions, the aperture formed intermediate the super and lower extents of the shoulder belt clip, the opened upper extent and the aperture together adapted to removably engage the shoulder belt.

Abstract: A device for adjusting a length of webbing, comprising a generally U-shaped body formed from two side arms connected by an end arm. A transverse bar having a gripping surface is mounted between the two side arms. A connecting device such as a buckle or hook is attached to the ends of the side arms. A pivotable plate is mounted between the two side arms and in between the transverse bar and connecting device. The pivotable plate has a gripping surface that contacts the gripping surface of the transverse bar. A release device is mounted on at least one side arm for selectively pivoting the pivotable plate. A length of webbing threaded through the device is securely held between the gripping surfaces of the transverse bar and pivotable plate until the release means is actuated. The friction from the gripping surfaces and pressure from the pivotable plate prevents the webbing from slipping out of the device even under tension from all angles. The release device permits simple adjustment of the webbing.

Abstract: Handbag displays which advantageously increase the efficiency of existing displays by reducing the portion of a display taken up by a handbag strap with a novel handbag display device. A handbag display comprises a handbag having a strap, a support member over which a strap may be hung, and a display device which can be placed on the handbag strap for reducing the distance between the support member and the compartment portion of the handbag and the strap support. When the display device is positioned on a strap, the display device has the effect of reducing the length of the strap and therefore reducing the display area consumed by a handbag.

Abstract: An improved shoulder belt guide for use with a child's booster seat positioned on a vehicle seat having a safety belt with a shoulder strap. The guide has first and second generally parallel slots formed in a body member with each slot having a belt access opening for enabling the shoulder strap to be attached to the guide. The guide has a third slot with closed perimeter, and a fourth slot generally parallel to the third slot but having an access opening enable the guide to be adjustably attached to one of a number of loops in a flexible securement strap attached to a booster seat. The strap is attached to the booster seat at several anchor points in order to provide one large loop and a series of small adjustment loops. The large loop portion of the securement strap passes through the third guide slot, while the smaller loops are engaged in the fourth parallel apertured slot so that the position of the guide is determined by which of the several small loops is received in the apertured parallel slot.

Abstract: A display device for a fashion accessory that includes an elongated strap of a purse or similar bag and a retaining member that receives a strap in a looped form and retains the strap in its desired position. The retaining member receives and retains the strap in its desired position without slippage by providing a unitary body defining a retaining plane parallel to the plane of the strap, wherein apertures are disposed on and passing through this retaining plane. In the preferred embodiments of this invention, the retaining device takes the forms of a figure-eight or S-shaped design. Moreover, breakaway tabs may be provided to enhance the frictional resistance to slippage.

Abstract: A strapping system and buckle therefor comprising a planar frame with a pair of parallel end legs connected by a pair of parallel side legs to define an opening therebetween, and a bridging legl connecting the side legs with an opening between the bridging leg and the two end legs, respectively, of suitable dimensios to thread a strap therethrough with the bridging leg disposed between the threaded strap, and wherein one end leg is extended to hold permanently one end of the strap, the other end being threaded through the buckle. Advantageously, the buckle is of a unitary structure which can be easily and inexpensively manufactured, and utilizes only a single bridging leg having at least a part thereof above the planar frame together with suitable dimensions of the openings between the bridging leg and end legs to lock the strap threaded therethrough.
