Positionally Related Slitter And Winding Surface Patents (Class 242/525.1)
  • Patent number: 10813486
Abstract: A food processing device includes a base portion with a motor housing upwardly extending from a first end of the base portion. A motor is disposed within the motor housing. A processing assembly extends upwardly from a second end of the base portion and is spaced-apart from the motor housing to define a processing area therebetween. An auger assembly includes an auger shaft that is operably coupled to the motor for driving rotational movement of the auger shaft. A clutch assembly is disposed within the motor housing and is operable between engaged and disengaged positions with the auger assembly. A disconnect feature is disposed on the motor housing and configured to selectively actuate movement of the clutch assembly between engaged and disengaged positions with the auger assembly. In use, a food substrate is mounted to the processing accessory and the auger shaft to process the food substrate.

  • Patent number: 10017885
Abstract: The present invention concerns a method and an apparatus for making mineral fibre products by splitting an incoming primary web, said apparatus comprising a feeding conveyor for providing an incoming primary web of air-laid mineral wool, said feeding conveyor having a first direction of travel; a station for shifting the direction of travel of the primary web by receiving the primary web on a turning table and then transferring the primary web onto a receiving conveyor, where said receiving conveyor has a second direction of travel different to the first direction of travel; wherein a web splitter is provided at the downstream end of said receiving conveyor for dividing the incoming primary web into a first primary web and second primary web and wherein the turning table is shiftable in the first direction of travel.

  • Publication number: 20140061358
Abstract: Partial webs are separated in a slitter-winder. The partial webs (WP) are separated by spreading in a spreading device having at least a first, bowed spreader roll (14) fitted at one side of the partial webs (WP) and a second, bowed spreader roll (15) fitted at the opposite side of the partial webs. The partial webs (WP) are guided over the bowed spreader rolls (14, 15) so that the wrap angles (B 14, B15) over the spreader rolls (14, 15) are substantially unequal. The partial webs (WP) are guided to the first spreader roll (14) in a lead-in direction (Dinxy) in the XY-direction and the partial webs are guided from the second spreader roll (15) in a lead-out direction (Doutxy) in the XY-direction such that the lead-in direction (Dinxy) and the lead-out direction are substantially divergent.

  • Patent number: 7552889
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device (1) for winding sheet-shaped material (4), that comprises longitudinally cutting devices (11, 12, 13, 14), that cuts the sheet-shaped material (4) into different strips and winds it up on each of the winding sleeves (7a, 7b) arranged on the strips and in which at least one winding sleeve support (20) is provided on which the winding sleeves (7a, 7b) can be arranged in such a manner that each strip is wound up on a winding sleeve (7a, 7b) intended for it and in which sources of light (16) are arranged in such a manner that they can be used to illuminate the cutting positions of the sheet-shaped material (4) and/or the longitudinally cutting devices (11, 12, 13, 14) and at least one winding sleeve support (20).

  • Patent number: 7100657
Abstract: A sheet slitter winder that uses a sheet slitter to slit a wide sheet into a plurality of sheets of predetermined width, and winders to wind the slit sheets onto winding cores. Touch rollers contact the winding rolls. Temporary sheet-holding means have a sheet-retaining plate that can be contacted with and separated from the touch rollers and can temporarily hold a slit sheet against an outside peripheral surface of a touch roller at a point upstream of a point of contact between a touch roller and a roll. Cutting means are used to cut widthwise across the slit sheets thus held in place.

  • Patent number: 6283402
Abstract: A reeled feed web is unreeled and passed through a set of slitting knives before the slit webs are rewound on rewind reels each carried by one of two differential or lock-bar shafts. The shafts are fixed in position and the slitting knives and rollers for handling the feed web and the slit webs are mounted on a movable carriage which can be traversed towards or away from the shafts. The carriage includes two mounting beams, parallel to the shafts, on which lay-on rollers can be mounted for guiding or laying-on slit webs onto respective rewind reels carried by the shafts. Variable predetermined torques can be applied to the rewind reels and the lay-on rollers, and the movement of the carriage controlled, to implement any of the following winding geometries; center winding, center winding with lay-on, surface winding, center surface winding and constant gap winding. The shafts are cantilevered so that reels can be unloaded from the ends of the shafts.
