Abstract: A holder for a bar of soap which permits rapid drying of the entire surface of a wet bar of soap, said holder having a base, four supports mounted on the base with each support having a notch at its upper extremity and the four notches forming the four corners of a horizontal rectangle, and a flexible endless cord supported by said four notches and forming a horizontal Roman numeral ten or "X", said "X" shaped endless cord forming a horizontal soap bar supporting member of small surface area.
Abstract: A support column for a trophy or the like comprising two parts, both of which are substantially flat so that they may be readily packed, shipped or inventoried. The column includes a weight-supporting front plate, and a semi-resilient back panel with connecting means therebetween by which the weight-supporting front plate will present a continuous front, while the back panel is disposed in a semi-circular position to form the hollow column.
Abstract: A load-support module comprises first and second frame structures of rectangular plan form disposed one above the other on a common central axis, with load support members attached to and extending between the structures. The frame structures are such that the modules can be stacked one on another in nested relationship. The modules are disposed in close-packed rows on a base frame structure, forming a load-support surface. Contiguous modules are demountably secured to one another and are each provided with fitted floor members. The entire structure is provided with a demountable, peripheral flexible skirt. A number of such structures can be combined to transport very large objects.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for the recovery of small plastic tissue sections described. A container having parallel sides is rotatably supported on its ends. Slides are placed in the container at an angle. The container is filled with a liquid and the histologic specimens are floated on the liquid within the receptacle. The container is then tilted so that the slides are horizontal and the sections are floating over the slides. A valve allows release of the liquid from the container into a trough. When the water level falls just below the level of the slides the valve is closed and the slides are removed from further processing.

Abstract: A mounting for a mirror comprises a handle having one end attached to the mirror frame and a holder bracket consisting of two essentially plate-like arms enclosing an angle with each other. A first bracket arm has a free end defining an outwardly open recess receiving a peripheral groove in the one handle end, and a second bracket arm defines a substantially flat support surface whereby the mirror may be used as a hand mirror, a wall mirror or a standing mirror.
Abstract: A method and means for the high temperature annealing of metallic coils whereby a coil to be annealed is held, with its axis in a horizontal position, in the annealing furnace by support means passing through the eye of the coil. The support means comprises a horizontal member passing through the eye of the coil and means to support the horizontal member in such a way that the coil contacts only the horizontal member.
Abstract: The invention comprises an article of manfacture made principally of two lengths of chain in which the lengths, arranged either circularly or semi-circularly, have had their links welded together to form a pair of diverging units connected together at their upper ends by welding either to the under side of a top plate or to other connecting elements. Legs have been welded to the bottom portions to support the unit on a floor or other under surface. The units may be utilized to hold a quantity of logs adjacent a fireplace or if of proper size might be used as magazine racks or as holders of any other kind of relatively rigid material that could be placed thereon.
