Abstract: A clamp, detachably attachable to the upper edge of a vehicular window, supports one end of a swiveling arm. The other end of the arm rotatably supports a conventional platform for a spotting telescope, a telescope, or camera or other device. A handle extends from the platform for selective rotation of the supported device about the vertical and the horizontal axis. Thereby, the supported devise may be repositioned into or out of a vehicle and rotated about the vertical and horizontal axis to be aligned with the subject of interest.

Abstract: The invention relates to a coupling device for detachably connecting a drawer to a movable rail of a drawer pull-out guide. The coupling device includes at least one movably mounted coupling part for detachably connecting the coupling device to the movable rail of the drawer pull-out guide. The coupling device includes an adapter device, so that the height position of the coupling part relative to the draw bottom can be adjusted. The adapter device includes a bearing part to be fastened to the drawer, and an adjustment part is connected to the coupling part. The adjustment part is adjustably supported in a direction substantially at a right angle to the drawer bottom in order to adjust the height position of the coupling part relative to the bearing part.

Abstract: A fence hanger apparatus is generally comprised of two vertical hanging support brackets. The two vertical hanging support brackets each have an upper portion terminating in a U-shaped hook for hanging the apparatus over the top rail of a fence, and a lower portion. A vertical member has an upper end and a lower end and is positioned approximately midway between the two vertical hanging support brackets and is substantially parallel to the upper portions of the two vertical hanging brackets. The upper end of the vertical member extends substantially to the same height as the U-shaped hooks. The vertical member has a front face, a rear face and two side faces. The front face of the vertical member is provided with means for attaching hanging members. A U-shaped latch is pivotally mounted to the lower end of the vertical member for attaching the apparatus to a vertical post of a fence. The lower portions of the two hanging support brackets are secured to the lower end of the vertical member with securing means.

Abstract: A swing set assembly having a swing set connector connected to a top rail is preferably provided which has a first cantilevered arm which connects to a top rail of at least two outer perimeters. Top rails are envisioned either fitting over the arm or in a bore the arm depending upon the outer perimeter of the top rail utilized. These and other embodiments are envisioned being of modular construction of a first half and a second half whether at an end of or between top rails. On the event that modification of the swing set is desired, an end half can be removed from a first half, and a top rail half connected thereto along with another top rail to extend the length of the total swing set. Alternatively, if a total top rail length is to be shortened, a top rail can be removed and a first half of the connector can be replaced with an end half.

Abstract: A bracket for mounting a curved shower rod on a previously installed straight shower rod. The bracket includes a body having a first member that defines a first bore for receiving an end of the curved shower rod therein, and a second member defining a second bore for receiving a portion of the straight shower rod therein. The first member extends outwardly from the second member at an angle. The second member comprises first and second regions that are movable away from each other to capture a portion of the straight shower rod between them. A securement mechanism locks the first and second regions together to prevent the bracket from disengaging from the straight shower rod. A second mounting bracket is similarly engaged on an opposite end of the straight shower rod and receives a second end of the curved shower rod therein.

Abstract: The invention relates to a mounting device for a bar from which to hang kitchen utensils, such as ladles, skimming ladles, film dispensers, etc. The mounting device includes a mounting bracket and a clip. The mounting bracket is formed of a flat plate extended at one of its edges by a 90° bend. The plate has, on the opposite face to the bend, an engaging device and a central hole. The clip has a U-shaped cross section with a front face connected by a bridge of material to a rear face that has a cutout opening into the bottom of the rear face. The cutout engaging device can engage and slide. The invention makes it possible, using a complementary accessory, either spacer piece or leg, to mount the bar on a flat vertical support or under a horizontal support, and to choose the locations of the mountings.

Abstract: A wall hydrant assembly for movably positioning a wall hydrant between a first and second structural member includes a first and second rail adapted to be secured to the first and second structural member. The first rail is adapted to engage a first portion of the wall hydrant and the second rail is adapted to engage a second portion of the wall hydrant to allow the wall hydrant to move substantially along the length of the first and second rails. The wall hydrant assembly can include first and second tabs which co-act with the first and second rails. The first and second rails can each define an elongated slot. The first and second tabs can each include a shaft which co-acts with the elongated slot to allow the wall hydrant to be moveable along the first and second rails.

Abstract: A supporting device for exhibiting golf clubs enabling the easy dismounting and storing of the golf clubs from and onto the supporting device for exhibition when users actually dismount the golf clubs from the supporting device for exhibition, hold them within their hands, and perform a test swing. The supporting device includes a plurality of guide parts for hooking the heads of golf clubs thereto and hooking parts connecting respective guide parts to each other, wherein when the clubs are hooked to the guide parts, they are always arranged in a specified direction at all times. The guide parts are so formed that the inlets of guide parts supporting suspended shafts of the clubs are opened in the front direction so that the shafts of the clubs can be suspended therefrom are visible from the front direction of the supporting device.

Abstract: A fastening device for detachable holding of an electrical distributor (2) by latching, with a base plate (3) and with two latch mechanisms (4) which project vertically away from the base plate (3). Several openings (5, 5?) for holding screws (6) are formed in the base plate (3), with which the base plate (3) can be fastened to the wall or other support (7), and free ends of the latch mechanisms (4) each having an elastic catch arm (8) with a catch hook (9) and a rigid contact arm (10) opposite the catch arm (8). The fastening device enables an electrical distributor to be fastened quickly and easily, but still reliably, to a wall or other support, with the possibility of also quickly and easily detaching the distributor, as necessary, from the wall without removing the fastening device.

Abstract: A clamp for perpendicularly connecting two elongated members includes first and second interchangeable half clamps. The half clamps are placed in opposing relationship and tightened around the perpendicular junction of the two elongated members. In one embodiment, the clamp is designed to connect a beam (such as an I-beam) to a ridge (such as that found on a standing seam roof). In another embodiment the clamp is designed to connect two beams together.

Abstract: A plastic molded bin that may universally mount to either of cross wires or cross bars in a retail merchandising environment as shown. The bin includes a receptacle and has hooks and retainers projecting from the back wall of the receptacle to provide for the universal mount structure. Partition walls with a mounting structure can be used to divide the merchandise holding chamber into different merchandising compartments.

Abstract: A threaded rod hanger has quick lock plunger mechanism that includes plunger pieces within a tapered bore in a housing. The plunger pieces have tapered outer surfaces. A spring within the housing presses the plunger pieces toward the narrow end of the bore, with the spring located between the plunger pieces and a back plate that closes off part of a wide end of the tapered bore. The plunger pieces have internally threaded surfaces that engage threads on a threaded rod that is inserted into the bore, between the plunger pieces. Once the threaded rod has been inserted between the plunger pieces and released, the plunger pieces are pushed toward the narrow bore end. This causes the plunger pieces to press inward, automatically causing the internal plunger half threads to engage the external threads on the threaded rod.

Abstract: A bracket for mounting an article, such as a roll-up fabric sign, on a mast, includes a body and a clamp on the body for securing the bracket at a desired location on the mast. A receptacle on the body is provided for receiving a portion of the article. The bracket body may be secured in first and second different orientations on the mast at the desired location, the first operational orientation being one in which the receptacle is positioned forwardly of a forward surface of the mast, for receiving the article portion, and the second non-operational orientation being one in which substantially no portions of the bracket body are positioned forwardly of the mast forward surface.

Abstract: An apparatus for mounting solar panels to a rail. The apparatus has a body configured to be attached to a solar panel support structure, and arms on opposite sides of the body configured to engage the rail. The arms hold the apparatus on the rail and allows the support structure to move along the length of the rail. The support structure can be in the form of a carrier which holds one or more solar panels, or may be formed as part of a backside of a solar panel.

Abstract: A portable air conditioner support arrangement for supporting a portable air conditioner in a window frame assembly. The support arrangement comprises an elongated flange-engaging rail having a first end and a second end, with a channel engaging tab arranged on the first end and the second end of the rail. Each of the tabs are arranged to mate with a channel on the sides of the window frame assembly. The rail has an elongated face to engage a flange on the upper front edge of the air conditioner and maintain the air conditioner free of support by a window sash of the window frame assembly.

Abstract: A hanging apparatus is provided that facilitates the attachment of a medical instrument to a support structure. The mechanism includes a generally longitudinal, telescoping assembly that extends outward from the back of the medical instrument and positions a rotatable arm to serve as one face of a clamp, opposing the back of the medical instrument as the second face of the clamp. The mechanism assembly includes a cylindrical shaft that extends outward against the tension force of a spring from a housing component of the assembly. A cam mechanism within the hanging apparatus allows for locking and tightening of the clamp against the support structure after closure of the clamp under the influence of the tensioning spring.

Abstract: A clamping structure comprising an elongated rod having a plurality of bends for attaching to a horizontal beam. The clamping structure includes back portions adjacent the back of the beam, lower portions adjacent to the bottom of the beam, one or more top portions adjacent to the top of the beam and extending forward of the beam, and front portions which are angled away from the front of the beam. The clamping structure may be used to temporarily attach a holding element such as a cup holder or hook to the horizontal beam, and the holding element may be attached to the clamping structure or may be made from the same elongated rod as the holding element.

Abstract: A curtain hanging device that works as usual when the curtain is used without problems and that can prevent an accident from happening when the curtain is accidentally tangled around the neck of a person is disclosed. Curtain Hanging Device 1 of the invention comprises Coupler 2 for suspending Curtain A from a curtain rail, wherein Coupler 2 has a catch for hanging from the rail, or Coupler 2 itself forms the catch, and wherein the catch deforms to release Curtain A from the rail when an extra load is applied to Curtain A.

Abstract: An electronics module includes a base and a cover connected to the base. The base includes a recess adapted to receive an associated mounting rail. At least one fixed rail constraining tab is located adjacent a first edge of the recess and is adapted to engage a first flange of the associated mounting rail. First and/or second latch arms are located adjacent a second edge of the recess that is opposite the first edge of the recess. The first and second latch arms are connected to a fixed portion of the second edge and project outwardly relative to opposite lateral sides of the fixed portion. Each of the first and second latch arms includes a rail capture tab.

Abstract: A pipe hanger system includes a pair of brackets and a pipe connection member selectively slidable along the brackets. The brackets each preferably include an elongate leg and a foot extending outwardly from the leg at a first end thereof. The leg of each bracket is preferably longer than the distance between the building members. The feet of the brackets are first fastened to an inside surface of the first building member. The pipe connection member can then be slid into the desired position and fastened in place. The legs of the brackets are then bent outwardly and secured to the inside surface of the second building member.

The cover covers the supporting housing; and two slideways enclose the two tracks and are slidable along the tracks. The guideways are mounted on the connecting arms, respectively. The slideways of the cover slide along the tracks oriented toward the guideways, and engage with the guideways to make the cover slide away from the supporting housing.

An upper portion of the meter stay is bent rearwardly to form a meter support portion. The meter support portion extends to an area upward of the top bracket and a meter is mounted thereon. The meter is then fitted with a meter cover. A pressure contact portion extends downwardly from a trailing end of the meter support portion. A rubber cushion mounted to the pressure contact portion is pressed up against a receiver member fixed to a side of the top bracket. Support stiffness is thereby enhanced and vibration-proof support is thereby provided.

Abstract: A compact mounting device for releasibly securing a GPS receiver or other electronic accessory to a handlebar of a motorcycle or other handlebar-steered vehicle is described. The device includes a clamp releasibly attachable to a motorcycle handlebar; a cylindrical mounting post rotatably attached to the upper surface of the clamp; a mounting yoke pivotally attached to the mounting post; and a mounting plate to support a GPS receiver or other accessory rotatably attached to the yoke. The face of the accessory can be oriented toward the vehicle rider by rotating the post, tilting the yoke and/or rotating the mounting plate, so that the device is useable with a wide variety of handlebar orientations.

The apparatus includes a base attachable to the object and configured for placement on the structure proximate the railing. The apparatus further includes an adjustable compression mechanism positioned between the base and the railing configured to secure the base to the structure with a selected force. The mechanism includes a first plate on the base, a second plate movable relative to the first plate for producing a selected height of the mechanism and a threaded member attached to the first plate and the second plate. The threaded member is configured to move the second plate relative to the first plate to achieve the selected height and apply the selected force.

Abstract: A novel device for hanging a stroller on a door or wall particularly in apartments. The invention includes a hanging bracket which fits over a door at its upper end having two hanging tubes mounted thereto extending downwardly along its length. The hanging tubes are mounted within integral cylindrical retainers on the hanging bracket by strategic placement of a pin. The orientation of the hanging tubes is modifiable by adjusting the positioning of the pin on a series of notches in the upper surface of the tube retainer so that the hanging tubes may be swiveled out of the way when not in use.

Abstract: A cartridge bottom bracket is for a bicycle having a tubular shell with a bore. The bottom bracket includes a spindle having opposing ends and a sealed cartridge disposed within the shell bore and about a central portion of the spindle so as to define opposing free end portions of the spindle. The cartridge includes a pipe having opposing ends, two rolling contact bearings disposed within the pipe adjacent to a separate one of the pipe ends and rotatably coupling the spindle with the pipe, and a tubular spacer disposed about the spindle and extending between the two bearings so as to establish a spacing distance between the bearings. Further, two shaped caps are each mounted on a separate one of the free end portions of the spindle and are disposed axially against a separate one of the bearings to enclose the free end portion of the spindle.

Abstract: A mounting assembly for supporting a traffic camera or other traffic control device high above traffic. The assembly includes a conventional camera bracket, a vertical pole of at least two inches in diameter, an adapter for attaching the camera bracket to the top of the pole, and a mounting bracket for attaching the pole to the mast arm or other support. The bracket includes an adapter plate by which the pole can be rotated relative to the support so the camera can be mounted on either a vertical or a horizontal support structure. The bracket also includes a clamp that attaches to the support structure by a three point attachment. This versatile mounting assembly can support a traffic control device 10-15 feet above the mast arm or other support, without significant movement of the pole relative to the bracket or of the bracket relative to the support.

Abstract: A portable air conditioner support arrangement for supporting a portable air conditioner in a window frame assembly. The support arrangement comprises an elongated flange-engaging rail having a first end and a second end, with a channel engaging tab arranged on the first end and the second end of the rail. Each of the tabs are arranged to mate with a channel on the sides of the window frame assembly. The rail has an elongated face to engage a flange on the upper front edge of the air conditioner and maintain the air conditioner free of support by a window sash of the window frame assembly.

Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for reinforcing a traffic control assembly are provided. In some embodiments, a retrofitted traffic control assembly configured to reinforce a traffic signal assembly in high wind conditions is provided. The reinforcement devices include connection assemblies for reinforcing the portion of a traffic control assembly positioned between a traffic signal disconnect hanger and an upper span wire, for example. In certain embodiments, one or more stiffening members may be placed in, on, or adjacent to a traffic signal and/or a traffic signal disconnect hanger to further reinforce the traffic signal assembly.

In some embodiments, a retrofitted traffic control assembly configured to reinforce a traffic signal assembly in high wind conditions is provided, where the assembly includes a clamping assembly having clamping members that at least partially surround an existing traffic signal disconnect hanger, and bar members positioned substantially perpendicular to the clamping members. In certain embodiments, stiffening members may be placed in, on, or adjacent to a traffic signal and/or a traffic signal disconnect hanger to further reinforce the traffic signal assembly. Also provided are connection assemblies for reinforcing the portion of a traffic control assembly positioned between a traffic signal disconnect hanger and an upper span wire, for example.

The surfaces are such that the clamp can be placed on the support and its weight held by the support prior to tightening. The clamp has a built-in connector for supplying power to the lamp. The clamp has one or more fail-safe holes for securing the clamp to the support with a safety cable. The clamp also has one or more flanges that can be received by a separate mounting bracket, for mounting the clamp and any attached element during storage, staging, or when otherwise not being used.

Abstract: A hanger for hanging of garlands and the like around a doorway can be removably placed within a doorway, where it is secured by pressure and friction, thereby avoiding any damage to the door or door frame. The hanger includes outward extensions that extend outward of the door frame to permit hanging of garlands and the like on either side of the doorway. The hanger may also include one or more central extensions for supporting the garlands or the like centrally above the doorway so that the garland or the like does not hang downward too much, thus keeping the doorway clear. The hanger can also be a part of the decoration around the doorway. Various configurations of the hanger may fit different widths of door frames, including a wide range of door frame widths, and features of the hanger provide additional flexibility for different door configurations including sidelights.

Abstract: A television mounting system includes a wall plate, at least one monitor arm mountable on the wall plate, and a locking element permanently connected with the wall plate and being movable between an unlocked position for enabling dismounting of the at least one monitor arm from the wall plate and a locked position for preventing dismounting of the at least one monitor arm from the wall plate. The locking element may be pivotally attached to the wall plate for pivoting between the unlocked and locked positions. The at least one monitor arm cannot be removed from the wall plate when the locking element is in the locked position.

Abstract: Retention devices and methods are disclosed that are mounted to the surface of a wall structure such as a wall surface or surfaces or a framing construction. The retention devices and methods may be used or performed in combination with one or more retaining elements, such as storage elements or fastener elements, such as traditional peg board hooks, pegs or hangers and even with other traditional fasteners such as screws, bolts, and nails. The invention comprises in some embodiments retention devices and methods, alone or in combination with or performed with the retaining elements, and retains materials, tools, and other implements. The invention in some embodiments may comprise a retention device having a plurality of perforations, and in some embodiments perforations configured the extent of a rail or panel. In some preferred embodiments, perforations are configured a minimum of two rows and equally spaced.

Abstract: The display panel has an outer surface to which a sign may be attached and an inner surface having a fastener composed of resiliently deformable material. An end of the fastener is separated from the display panel by a slit which is adapted to receive an outer plate of a conventional door handle The outer plate is held in the slit by the resiliently deformable composition of the fastener. The plate may however be removed from the slit by the application of a force opposed to the bias of the resilient material in order to widen the slit.

Abstract: A device for holding garment hangers is described which has two parts: one preferably inflexible hook part made of plastics material or metal shaped to be carried by a rail and a flexible loop or strap or series of loops, adapted to receive many garment hangers. The two parts are connected flexibly and the loop may be adjusted to alter its separation from a rail. The device allows more garments to be hung from a single rail than previously was possible and is particularly useful in the transport and storage of garments in shops, warehouses and factories. Two devices may be interlocked across a handler's shoulders.
