Abstract: A method for reinstating a pole standing in ground comprising, abutting an inner surface of a sleeve against an outer surface of the pole so as to have a lower portion of the sleeve penetrating the ground and an upper portion of the sleeve projecting above the ground, and sliding a secondary member against an outer surface of the sleeve so that the secondary member locates against the sleeve and projects above the ground and into the ground, wherein the construction is such that the sleeve and secondary member located against the sleeve jointly form a bridging beam incorporating a box section reinforcement of the bridging beam. The formation of this box section substantially improves the strength of the bridging beam above what would be expected from the strength of the individual components.

Abstract: Slide and lock clamps for attaching to supports are provided. In a general embodiment, the present disclosure provides a clamp including a base plate comprising a first cradle. A rod is secured to the base plate. A sliding carriage is movably connected to the rod. The sliding carriage includes a lever, a cam, and a movable lock constructed and arranged for releasably locking the sliding carriage in place on the base plate. A second cradle is movably connected to the rod and positioned next to the sliding carriage for securing a support between the second cradle and the first cradle.

Abstract: A system, method and bracket for installing banners, including an improved bracket useful for mounting banners to a supporting structure is provided. The bracket is configured with a magnetic feature for facilitating installation of the bracket to a metallic support structure, and may receive banner mounting hardware, such as, for example, banner mounting arms and fastening members, and may be positioned and held on the structure to allow mounting straps to be installed in order to securely mount the bracket to the structure, and complete installation.

Abstract: Rapid attach and release clamps for attaching to supports are provided. In a general embodiment, the present disclosure provides a clamp including a threaded rod, an arm pivotally attached to the threaded rod, and a knob having an exterior surface and an interior surface. The knob defines a passageway sized to fit the threaded rod. A lock comprises at least one thread and is rotatably attached to the interior surface of the knob. The lock is constructed and arranged to move between a closed position with the thread entering the passageway and engaging the threaded rod and an open position with the thread not entering the passageway. A lever is moveably attached to the clamp and constructed and arranged to rotate the lock about a pivot point.

Abstract: A laryngoscope and system are provided wherein the laryngoscope is comprised of a handle, an arm, a camera, a light, and a disposable sheath; the sheath being comprised of a canal capable of being threaded with a bougie; the handle being comprised of a remote ejection element. The system is comprised of a laryngoscope, a display device, and an IV pole attachment. The display unit is comprised of a container, a stand, and a screen. The IV pole attachment is comprised of an attachment receiver, an IV clamp, and a laryngoscope storage receptacle. In other aspects, the laryngoscope and display unit are sensitive to movement and may power on and off with motion or absence of motion. In another aspect, the laryngoscope is capable of wirelessly communicating with the screen.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to an adjustable clamp that is configured to hold a decorative ornament to a substantially cylindrical pole, such as, a hospital IV pole. The adjustable clamp may include a base member to hold the decorative ornament to the adjustable clamp. The adjustable clamp may also include an inverted L-shaped deformable locking member attached to the base member. The adjustable clamp may also include an O-shaped flexible clamping member with a plurality of finite locking step projections and a finger accessible shoulder portion extending away from the circular O-shaped curve of the flexible clamping member. A user should be able to mount the adjustable clamp onto an IV pole and place any decorative apparatus onto the IV pole via the clamping member.

The engaging surface has a plurality of grooves that allow the extruded portion to bend to the form of a pole. The pole mounting portion is connected to the at least one extruded portion. Moreover, the pole mounting portion is further configured to be selectively coupled to a device. The band is configured to deform the at least one extruded portion about the pole to attach the pole mount bracket to the pole.

Abstract: A flat-screen monitor support comprises a body having means for attachment of a monitor thereto and a locking means operable to lock against a support post extending through the body and through the locking means. The locking means supports the body to prevent the body from sliding down the post under the weight of a monitor attached to the body. The body is rotatable relative to the locking means about an axis of a support post extending through the body and locking means, when the locking mechanism is locked to the support post. In addition, a support base for securing a flat-screen monitor support to a table surface, comprising a support post having a support plate secured to one end thereof, a seat cup to sit on a table surface and receive therein the support plate with the support post upstanding from the table surface, and a clamp bracket to sit on the support plate with a tightening means positionable against an underside of a table surface, to clamp the support plate, seat cup and table top together.

Abstract: An apparatus for bracing a masonry wall that is bowing or has begun to buckle as a result of hydrostatic pressure and/or other forces as may occur with the foundation or basement wall of a building. The wall restraint system includes a vertically disposed beam, which is positioned against a vertical concrete masonry wall and secured in place by a bottom bracket and a top bracket. The beam reinforces the wall and prevents further bowing, buckling, or potentially collapsing of the wall. One end of the beam is secured to the floor by a bottom bracket. The bottom bracket preferably receives the lower end of the beam. The upper end of the beam is secured against the basement wall by a top bracket or offset connector, which in turn is secured to one of the overhead floor joists. The beam may be offset to avoid piping or the like.

Abstract: A saw horse comprises a pair of frames each assembled from a plurality of wooden struts joined by metal formings of sheet stock. Fabric hinges join the frames at their upper ends. The metal formings are positioned and closed around the beams with piercings engaging the fabric hinges. Spreader struts are also hinged by a fabric strap that permits the spreader struts to lay in horizontal positions when the frames are pulled into an A-shape, and to be oriented in side-by-side vertical positions when the frames are folded together.

The columnar building member and connecting bracket are attached to the structural support member via a fastening device through one or more of the spaced apertures disposed along the horizontal ring-shaped surface.

An elongated safety post is configured for removably engaging the saddles so the lower end of the post rests against the stop structure. A tie-off structure is mounted on the upper end of the post. The tie-off structure is configured to rotate around the upper end of the post, and includes a platform portion for supporting a restraining device coupled to a worker.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide an apparatus for securing a movable soccer goal to a fixed football goal or other vertical post. The first end zone includes an engagement formation provided thereon for engaging the cymbal stand and the second end zone includes a threaded connector suitable for engaging a microphone assembly, the first end zone and the second end zone being displaceable relative to one another.

Abstract: A shelf connector includes a sliding sleeve and a locking sleeve. The sliding sleeve is formed with a locking body thereon. The locking body is provided with an open groove along the axial direction of the sliding sleeve. The locking body is provided on both sides of the open groove with clasping portions. The locking sleeve is provided with a locking groove thereon. After the clasping portion is inserted into the locking groove, the width of the open groove can be reduced. With the above arrangement, in assembling, the sliding sleeve can be conveniently positioned to any suitable position of the supporting rod and locked thereto with the insertion of the locking sleeve. Since the locking sleeve itself has mounting portions for mating with the frame body of the shelf, or the locking sleeve itself is the end portion of the frame body of the shelf, the connection of the whole shelf becomes very simple.

Abstract: A removable mount to be secured to a utility pole or the like for the attachment of a stabilizer wire including a generally flat, rectangular base plate having a top surface and a bottom surface with an integral upwardly extending attachment loop positioned centrally on a boss on the top surface of the base plate. The top surface of the base plate also includes at least one pair of transverse raised ribs, one each of the pair of ribs being positioned on each side of the boss and spaced apart from the boss to create a pair of shallow channels between the boss and the ribs for the seating of attachment bands. The bottom surface of the base plate has downwardly depending serrated edges disposed to bite into the mounting surface when the attachment bands are tightened to prevent slippage of the mount on the mounting surface.

Abstract: A method for distributing power has developed without cutting off power supplying while a live electric wire is replaced on the electric poles by using a wire changing device for replacing the electric line, relocating the electric poles and alteration of the power distribution route. Replacement operation of the live electric wire is sequentially performed by connecting new wire and separating old wire by the wire changing device mounted on each electric pole without using bypass cable. The wire changing device comprises a cross-arm fastening unit, wire replacing unit and axial-rotating unit having a central arm fixture, axial shaft, arm coupling and position locking unit. The wire changing method comprises the steps of: mounting the wire changing device on each electric pole, replacing new and old wires without cutting off power supply, arranging the wire space, installing and tightening the new wire on each LP insulator of the electric pole, and removing the separated wire.

Abstract: Disclosed is a device removably attachable to a vertical rod-like structure to hang articles such as flower pots. The device has a main body on which the article to be hang can be attached and a U-shaped bracket. In use, the main body and the U-shaped bracket are assembled in such a manner as to surround the rod-like structure. The article to be hung once attached, generates a cantilever action that presses the main body against the rod-like structure and causes the device to lock on the structure. Advantageously, the rear part of the main body is carved in a stepwise manner in order to fit rod-like structures of different sizes and shapes. The device may also be advantageously used with interchangeable supports for use to hang articles of different sizes and shapes. The device and the support are easy to use and can be installed without tools.

The container has a break therein so that the first portion is separable from the second portion and a pair of dividing walls is defined. A coupling apparatus is attached to the first and second portions and is configured to secure the first and second portions together and to a post extending through the aperture.

Abstract: In one form of the invention, a rounded bicycle seat is provided. The seat has no front pommel that is a significant factor in causing most pressure and pain to the crotch area of a rider. As such, the bicycle seat is designed to relieve numbness. In one embodiment of the current invention, the seat is provided with a rounded dome portion that minimizes or makes no contact with the crotch area of the rider when the bicycle seat is in use. Further, the seat may pivot in multiple directions in connection with the rider's movement, giving the rider proper coordination and alignment with the seat and the bicycle pedals. The seat is anatomically correct and provides support for the rider with a snug comfortable fit, while at the same time improves balance, flexibility and improves body strength with the least amount of friction and pain experienced by the rider.

Preferably, the node sleeves are an extruded component with a center cavity that closely conforms to the exterior of the shoring post. Abstract: In this invention a hanger is used for attaching cross members to a vertical support structure. The hanger is made up of a box part that includes a mounting surface, two spaced distal openings and a central opening that is located between the two distal openings. The distal openings have been adapted to accommodate a fastening device. The central opening is designed to accommodate a cross member. When in use, the mounting surface of the hanger is placed against a vertical support structure and secured into position using the fastening devices. Once two hangers have been secured, a cross member is slid into and through the central openings of the two hangers, being supported by the hangers. The cross members can then provide a base onto which a platform may be assembled for such uses as hunting, camping, or other outdoor activities.

Abstract: A support system used for affixing antennas to a pole or column includes a plurality of clamps, pipes and triangular supports for positioning about a section of a column or pole. The preferred embodiment uses three pairs of clamps, three pipes and three triangular supports contoured to mount securely to a variety of pole diameters. Each pair of clamps is connected by a fastener. The pipes have a plurality of slots or openings to allow for adjustments to different column or pole diameters. The pipes are joined and interconnected to the triangular supports by two fasteners. The triangular supports guide the pipes and secure them to each other.

At least a first and preferably first and second horizontal rows of a plurality of slots pass through the backplane member from the back to the front major surfaces. A retainer strap is fitted through a pair of slots in each row and is closable to form a circuit, which may be sized to fit around a post, branch or trunk abutting the back major surface of the backplane. A support is pivotally attached to the front major surface and is positionable to provide a ledge.

Abstract: A device for suspending animals after a hunt includes a pair of legs, and means for mounting the device to an upright member. One leg is used to suspend or hang the animal, and the other leg has a serrated member, which secures the device from lateral and vertical motion when in place. A brace can be used to provide further support for suspension of animals, and the device can be made collapsible for ease of transport and storage.

Abstract: A mounting assembly for affixing an antenna platform or mounting arm to a pole. The mounting assembly includes a plurality of clamps for positioning about the circumference of the pole. The preferred embodiment uses three clamps and each of the clamps has a pole mounting surface contoured to mount securely to a variety of pole circumferences. The mounting assembly also includes a plurality of interconnection members extending between the clamps for securing the clamps to the pole. In the embodiment shown, each of the clamps includes a pair of identical spaced apart side plates. The side plates include connecting extensions for attachment of the interconnection members. The clamps include reinforcing plates attached to the connecting extensions, and the reinforcing plates having apertures for receiving the interconnection members. The mounting assembly also includes a middle support plate attached to and interconnecting each pair of side plates.

The bracket has a base, and at least one saddle member attached to and extending from a surface of the base. In the preferred embodiment, the saddle member has at least two different radial support surfaces for supporting pipes of different diameters. The support surfaces are knurled or ridged to provide a good grip of a pipe supported thereon. In one embodiment of the invention, the bracket has two saddle members, two pairs of elongated slots, and two pairs of apertures in the base. One of the fasteners is secured to the base through the apertures and the other fastener is secured to the base through the elongated slots. The major portion of one fastener extends above the surface of the base from which the saddle member extends, and a major portion of the other fastener extends from a surface of the base opposite the surface supporting the saddle members.

Abstract: A retaining device for a replaceable hanger frame comprises a main supporting post and a retainer. The retainer encloses the main supporting post, and a buckle sleeve in the enclosing sleeve. A lower end of an inner surface of the enclosing sleeve is installed with a cambered groove. The buckle sleeve is formed by two opposite wave-like cambered sheets which are assembled to the interior of the enclosing sleeve. The wave-like cambered sheet of the buckle sleeve is installed with a plurality of stop ribs. The wave-like cambered sheets have outer tips which resist against the enclosing sleeve. A concave space formed on the outer surface of the buckle sleeve and an inner surface of the enclosing sleeve provides a margin for compressing and deformation as the main supporting post is engaged. Thereby, the enclosing sleeve and buckle sleeve are positioned to a predetermined position of the main supporting post.

The support member has at least one mounting arm coupled to the mounting plate to space the support member from the mounting plate. The mounting plate can have a mounting arm coupled to the support member. The mounting brackets are coupled to the mounting plate and to the support member by an intermediate bracket assembly. The intermediate bracket assembly has a pair of arms coupled to the mounting plate and the support member to space the respective mounting bracket from the mounting plate.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for vehicle fuel tanks, which includes a tank (1) having a rounded rectangular cross section with rounded corners (5-8) and an upper limiting plane (15) which substantially coincides with the upper side (9) of the tank. A lower limiting plane (16) coincides substantially with the bottom side (10) of the tank. Carrying brackets (2) cooperate with a flexible strapping unit (3) for attaching the tank to the vehicle. The carrying brackets (2) are shaped as a substantially vertical cradle, having a web (21) and a support surface (30) facing the inner side (12) of the tank and, at the top, merging into an upper support protrusion (22) and, at the bottom, merging into a lower, laterally pointing support protrusion (23). Both support protrusions have a support surface (31, 32) arranged to bear on respective rounded corner (7, 8) of that tank.

Abstract: The present invention is a cable attachment method and device used with a fastener to secure a cable, hose, or hydraulic line to a rigid member to prevent slippage. The device includes a soft, flexible, cylindrical body having a longitudinal bore configured to accept the fastener. The body has an opening adapted to accept the cable. The body operates to create a high level of friction between the cable and the rigid member and to protect the cable from vibration of the rigid member.
