  • Patent number: 6361005
Abstract: A holding device for a hand-operated shower head contains a body, which is e.g. constructed as a slide for a wall rod and is held in longitudinally slidable manner on the wall rod. In its front it contains an adjusting screw for adjusting the force with which a brake mechanism acts on the wall rod. A reception element is articulated to the body so as to be pivotable about an axis upstream of the wall rod. The reception element receives part of the handle of a shower head, so as to fix the latter. The shower head can be pivoted in such a way that the median axis of the cone nut inserted in the receptacle is moved in a plane in which the longitudinal axis of the wall rod is also located.

  • Patent number: 6349905
Abstract: A portable support for cameras, spotting scopes, and other devices is shown secured to a collateral support object (tree). A rope or strap encircles a collateral support member and the collateral support object (FIG. 1) one or more times, and is then tightly placed in rope gripping clamps. An adjustable arm extends from the collateral support and includes an optical device mounting head, which in turn receives an optical device. Adjustable support is thereby provided for the optical device. The collateral support member interconnects with adjustable legs imparting the capability to configure the apparatus in a free standing mode.

  • Patent number: 6334594
Abstract: A support assembly for a precision gauge includes a base block, a support post, a platform which can be coarse adjusted up and down the post using a locking screw, and an support arm which has a portion received by a hollow end of the platform. A fine adjustment screw moves the support arm with the attached precision gauge vertically up and down two dowel pins secured within the hollow portion of the platform. The base block is machined to within 0.0001 inch smoothness to permit the machined element to be measured to be positioned directly on the base block.

  • Patent number: 6209832
Abstract: The holder for the reference projected light detector of the present invention comprises a mounting assembly for mounting the reference projected light detector and a fixing assembly for fixing the detector on a staff member, wherein said fixed assembly comprises a clamp knob with a tip thereof being adjustable in association with a width of the staff member and a clamper rotatably provided and facing to the clamp knob, and said staff member is squeezed between said clamp knob and said clamper by rotation of said clamper. By adjusting the clamp knob, it is adapted to thickness of the squeezed staff member, and by further turning the camper, the tip of the locking portion is rotated, and the distance between the tip of the locking portion and the clamp knob can be varied as the result of rotation of the locking portion, and the holder for reference projected light detector can be clamped on the staff member or clamping can be released.

  • Patent number: 6202964
Abstract: A hanger including a connector member, a strap member, a hanger arm, and an adjustable support arm is provided. The connecting member has a surface configured to substantially conform to at least a portion of an upright support member. The strap member is connected to the connector member for holding the connector member against the support member. The hanger arm has a first end pivotally connected to the connector member and a free second end adapted to suspend an item therefrom. The adjustable support arm has a first end pivotally connected to the hanger arm and a second end matingly engageable against selective portions of the connector member to support the hanger arm in a selected angular relationship with respect to the upright support member.

  • Patent number: 6193436
Abstract: A locking system for supporting legs removably mounted to a tray, table or other structure to be supported includes cooperating engagement elements for removably connecting a supporting element, such as a pole or leg, to a clamp. The connected pole and clamp are removably retained, as a unit, in a retaining element extending from the structure to be supported. A stop element is provided on the clamp, the retaining element, or both, so that the clamp and the pole are retained as a single unit in a desired position within the retaining element when the locking system is assembled. The system may be readily assembled and disassembled into its individual components without employing any special tools.

  • Patent number: 6185303
Abstract: An enclosure mounting bracket kit for attaching an enclosure with an exterior flange to a post is described. The mounting bracket includes an elongated horizontal rigid bar having first and second elongated studs protruding from the front side surface for penetrating the mounting holes of the flange; at least one through-hole in each of the first and second studs transverse to a long axis of the stud so that when each of the first and second studs penetrates a mounting hole the through-hole penetrates the flange; first and second releasable pins for positioning in each through-hole and gripping each of the first and second studs respectively; a block attached to the rear side surface of the bar between the first and second studs, the block having a surface generally conforming to the outside surface of the post; an adjustable strap attached to the rear surface for encompassing the post; and a ratchet tensioning device pivotally attached to the rear surface for tightening the strap around the post.

  • Patent number: 6179260
Abstract: A coupling bracket for interconnecting an IV stand with a patient transport device includes a base having an attachment portion for connecting the coupling bracket to the transport device. An extension arm laterally projects from the base and terminates at an IV stand receiver portion that receives and positively retains an IV pole. Redundant IV pole retaining features are provided to eliminate risk of unwanted separation from the coupling bracket. In addition, pivotally collapsing and telescopically collapsing brackets are disclosed for improved storage of the coupling bracket on a patient transport device. The coupling bracket allows simultaneous movement of an IV stand and a patient transport device.
