Abstract: A hair dryer consists of a nozzle engaging frame that is composed of an upper nozzle engaging member and a lower nozzle engaging member, each of which is formed from steel wire bent into a horizontal generally planar hollow geometric shape, such as a hollow square. The nozzle engaging frame is supported by a substantially L-shaped arm member attached at one end to the vertical support of the nozzle engaging frame. The opposite end of the L-shaped arm member is attached to a spring clamp which, in turn, is clamped to the edge of a counter top or other edge to support the complete hair dryer holder assembly and hair dryer. The L-shaped arm may be formed with an included angle less than 90° so that when the hair dryer is inserted into the nozzle engaging frame, the nozzle of the hair dryer is directed slightly toward the countertop and away from the user.

Abstract: A retention clip for attaching an outer belt weatherstrip to a flange includes a backing plate and an anti-rotation feature attached thereto. The anti-rotation feature biases against the flange to draw the backing plate against the flange to remove lash from between the flange and the backing plate in a lateral direction relative to a first primary axis of the retention clip. An axial biasing member biases against the top edge of the flange to remove lash from between a lower edge of the flange and a latch of the retention clip in an axial direction along the first primary axis. A spacing element engages an interior surface of the outer belt weatherstrip in abutting engagement to resist movement of the outer belt weatherstrip relative to the retention clip along the first primary axis. A release mechanism allows the retention clip to disengage from the flange.

Abstract: A tray holder tag support for attachment of signage to an edge of a tray. The tray is characterized as having a base and upstanding sides emanating therefrom, at least one of the sides terminating in a lip, the lip having a width. The tray holder tag support includes a planar region which when applied to the tray extends proximate one of the side walls. A clip or pair of clips are provided each having a first segment appended to and extending from the planar region, the first segment(s) being of a length greater than the width of said lip. Second segment(s) extend substantially downwardly from the first segment(s) and third segment(s) extend from the second segment(s) and are sized to extend under the lip when the tray holder tag support is appended to the tray.

Abstract: A grommet is disclosed which couples with a component under a hood of an automobile. The grommet has an insertion end with four wipers, a body, and a retaining loop opposite the insertion end. The wipers are generally triangular in cross-section with a distal tip of the triangle sweeping toward the body so that when the grommet couples with an orifice in the component by pressing the insertion end into the orifice, the wipers deform, but resist insertion. Due to the angle of the wipers, the wipers resist decoupling of the grommet from the component. The retaining loop defines an opening through which a tube, pipe, and/or wires are placed and secured with a bolt that engages threads of a bolt hole in the body.

Abstract: A garnish mounting apparatus includes a rack formed at a back surface of the garnish and a tether clip for mounting the garnish to the body member at the rack. A slit is formed at the rack, and the tether of the clip extends through the slit. The tether and the slit-defining edge of the rack are movable relative to each other in a longitudinal direction of the slit and can be brought into engagement with each other in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the slit. The clip has an engagement span for suppressing a rotational play of the garnish about a longitudinal axis of the garnish between a slit-penetrating portion of the tether and a contact portion of the clip with a bottom wall of the rack. A contact seat plane of the clip with the body member has a width for suppressing rotational play.

Abstract: A photovoltaic (PV) module framing and coupling system enables the attachment of PV modules to a roof or other mounting surface without requiring the use of separate structural support members which attach directly to and span between multiple PV modules in a formed PV array. The apparatus provides a parallel coupling for securely interlocking the outside surfaces of parallel frame members together in a side to side arrangement to form an array with improved structural load distribution. The coupling may attach to a slot in the frame at substantially any position along the length of the frame thereby enabling the interconnection of adjacent PV modules along both an x and y axis. The apparatus may further provide a rotating portion and locking portion, mounting brackets for direct connection to a mounting surface, grounding teeth, and a twist-lock engagement means for interlocking and aligning PV modules in the array.
