Abstract: A clipping structure includes a main body, a clip member, and an urging member for urging the clip member. The main body has a connecting protrusion, whereas the clip member has two lateral parts, between which the connecting protrusion is arranged. Further, the connecting protrusion has receptacles on its outer surfaces, whereas the lateral parts have shaft projections on its inner surfaces respectively. Fitting of the shaft projections into the respective receptacles connects the clipping member swingably to the main body. The connecting protrusion, where the receptacles are formed, has tapered portions formed on its outer surfaces respectively. Gradual opening of a gap between the lateral parts with distal ends of the shaft projections brought into contact with the respective tapered portions fits the shaft projections in the respective receptacles.

  • Patent number: 7434341
Abstract: A label holder includes at least one panel having a rib. The at least one panel is constructed to have a resilient rearward curvature that flexes to flatten against a shelf. The label holder further includes a retainer structure extending rearwardly from the at least one panel. The retainer structure includes a clip configured to resiliently clamp the label holder to the shelf. When mounted to the shelf, the rib engages the shelf and causes flexure of the resilient rearward curvature of the front panel, forms a lid for a cavity that houses a label, and biases the clip against a back surface of the angled front panel to provide secure attachment of the label holder to the shelf.

Abstract: A retention member for restricting movement of a merchandise display assembly relative to a shelf. The shelf is provided with a substantially planar support surface, a curved front portion shaped for receiving flexible inserts, and a rear portion extending angularly from the planar support surface in a downward direction. The retention member includes an engaging portion and an attachment portion. The engaging portion is shaped to engage at least a portion of at least one of the curved front portion or the rear portion of the shelf. The attachment portion is adapted to engage a portion of the merchandise display so as to substantially restrict movement of the merchandise display assembly relative to the shelf in at least one of a horizontal or vertical direction. Another embodiment of the present invention includes a retention apparatus which includes at least one front retention member and at least one rear retention member.

Abstract: A clip for joining bearing elements, such as found in escalator constructions may be employed, for example, to join a track rail, on which rollers of an escalator roll to a carrier frame. The clip has a base part and a bracket part of spring steel. At the upper end of each side, the base part has a shoulder to engage one of the elements to be joined. The bracket part has a lug which engages the other element to be joined and, through a further lug, presses the shoulders of the base part against the first element to retain the two elements in the desired contacting position.

  • Patent number: 7258315
Abstract: A holder for planar material includes a first panel and a second panel hingedly connected to the first panel. A prong is secured to the first panel and extends in a direction approximately normal thereto. The prong has a pointed tip. An aperture is defined in the second panel. The pointed tip pierces an associated planar material located between the panels such that the prong of the first panel can pass through the associated planar material and enter the aperture of the second panel when the first panel overlies a portion of the second panel, thereby holding the associated planar material between the first and second panels. A clip is connected to at least one of the first and second panels. The clip allows the holder to be mounted to an associated support.
