  • Patent number: 6293508
Abstract: A keyboard support system attaches to an edge of a work surface. The work surface includes a working surface and an underside. The keyboard support system includes a keyboard platform configured for supporting a keyboard. A U-shaped mounting bracket includes a top wall having a lower surface, a monolithic bottom wall and a middle wall interconnecting the top wall and the bottom wall. The bottom wall has an upper surface and a lower surface with a pair of integral, opposing guide rails projecting therefrom. Each guide rail has a length oriented substantially parallel to the bottom wall. The middle wall is configured to both resiliently bias the lower surface of the top wall against the working surface of the work surface and resiliently bias the upper surface of the bottom wall against the underside of the work surface, thereby clamping the work surface between the top wall and the bottom wall.

  • Patent number: 6269571
Abstract: A dual purpose label holder for mounting on a merchandise display hook having label support means in the form of a cross bar or mounting plate fixedly attached to the outward end of a label holder arm. The label holder is formed of plastic and has a back panel formed with upper and lower mounting portions for pivotal attachment to a cross bar or fixed attachment to a mounting plate. The upper mounting portions serves in a dual capacity, either for pivotal engagement with a cross bar or for fixed engagement with the upper edge of a mounting plate. The label holder preferably has flexibly connected front and back panels, opening at the top, for receiving printed information labels.

  • Patent number: 6260811
Abstract: A cup holder attachment for holding a beverage container and mounting to the backrests of a pair of adjacent seats in a row of seats. The cup holder attachment includes a base with an upper ring spaced above the base and an elongate support extending between the base and the upper ring to connect them together. Fixed and sliding clips are provided each designed for hooking over a backrest of a seat. The fixed clip is coupled to the upper ring and the sliding clip is slidably mounted to the upper ring to permit slidable positioning of the sliding clip along the upper ring with respect to the location of the fixed clip.

  • Patent number: 6231109
Abstract: A retainer clip assembly for securing a sun visor interiorly in an automobile. The retainer clip assembly includes a movable lever attached thereto which secures the retainer clip assembly to a vehicle ceiling panel. The lever includes a release member which is accessible from the exterior of the retainer clip, so that the lever may be disengaged and the retainer clip removed. A transportation clip is disclosed for use with the retainer clip assembly. The transportation clip connects the retainer clip to a headliner module during transportation to the final point of assembly. At the final point of assembly, the retainer clip can be pushed into its installed position and the transportation clip is concealed within the retainer clip and need not be removed.

  • Patent number: 6216321
Abstract: An edge clip which uses precoated sheet metal stock, is stamped in a high speed progressive die, and has a robustly configured triangularly shaped body. A solid blank of the sheet stock is die cut into a patterned blank including a base, a projection forward of the base, and first and second wings located at either side of the base. Each of the first and second wings has an outboard member and an inboard member, wherein the outboard member includes a barb. A pointed flange projects from the rear edge of the patterned blank at each of the first and second wings. The projection is stamped to form a standard attachment appendage, and the first and second wings are folded, wherein a spring arm is formed at an apex thereof and provided by an overlap of the outboard members. A tab of the outboard member of the second wing secures the overlap of the outboard members. The folding also provides first and second rails, wherein each is radiused to provide a basal corner of the triangular configuration.

  • Patent number: 6182933
Abstract: The friction-mountable plastic hanger has an extrusion profile that defines a stiff depending hook for hanging an object and a cantilevered mounting structure extending from the hook. The cantilevered structure may consist of a single mounting arm with resiliently deformable transversely extending fins angularly projecting from the opposite faces of the arm in a direction backward toward the hook, or a stiff U-shaped mounting structure having a pair of parallel cantilevered mounting arms with interior facing surfaces equipped with resiliently deformable transversely extending fins that angularly project from the interior surfaces of the arms in a direction backward toward the hook. All parts of both have a uniform width dimension that extends perpendicular to the extrusion profile. The fins on the mounting arms are resiliently deformed by bending into a frictionally engaging relationship against structural surfaces when the hangers are frictionally mounted.
