Abstract: A bracket apparatus and method for mounting a personal computing device to a wall is provided. The bracket apparatus includes a bracket for retaining and supporting a personal computing appliance. The bracket is adapted to be mounted to a wall. The bracket includes a wall mounting portion, a personal computing appliance mounting portion, and a plurality of mounting pads attached to the personal computing appliance mounting portion for contacting and retaining the personal computing appliance.

Abstract: A bicycle water bottle clip assembly comprised of a front grip and a water bottle clip with a fixing means formed by two insertion holes before the front grip fastened to the stem of the handle of the bicycle and two insertion sections extending from the water bottle clip to connect the grip and the clip for receiving the water bottle provided with a straw at the front end of the stem of the bicycle so that the rider may drink the water as desired simply by slightly bending forward without having to leave either of his hands from the handle for riding safety.

Abstract: A safety hook assembly has a main body having a first generally C-shaped portion, a second generally C-shaped portion, and a generally rhombic portion having a lower ring. The first generally, C-shaped portion has a first O-shaped winding portion and a first hook end. The second generally C-shaped portion has a second O-shaped winding portion and a second hook end. The first hook end of the first generally C-shaped portion is inserted in the second O-shaped winding portion of the second generally C-shaped portion. The second hook end of the second generally C-shaped portion is inserted in the first O-shaped winding portion of the first generally C-shaped portion. A first S-shaped hook is hooked on the lower ring of the main body. A second S-shaped hook is hooked on the lower ring of the main body.

Abstract: A spring designed to be mounted adjacent and in conformance with a convex or concave surface that has varying radii of curvature. The stiffness against bending of the spring varies along its longitudinal axis. The stiffness against bending of various portions of the spring is proportional to the radii of curvature of portions of the surface adjacent which each portion of the spring is to be disposed. The mounting structure for the spring includes female mounting members that are to be engaged to male mounting members. The female mounting members and male mounting members can be engaged to one another by sliding the two components together. The spring and mounting system are particularly well adapted for holding objects adjacent an inner surface of body panels of a vehicle.

Abstract: A wire holder 1 is provided with a wire support member 10 and a cap member 20, and a wire 5 is inserted in a wire grasping part 14 of the wire support member 10 and is held. The wire grasping part 14 has a spiral part 142 where a linear member 140 in two lines is wound in coil shape, and an acting part 16 integrally connected to the spiral part 142 is rotated thereby the spiral part 142 is reduced in the diameter and the wire 5 is grasped. The acting part 16 is engaged with the cap member 20, and the cap member 20 is constituted to be rotated about the axial center thereby the acting part 16 is rotated. Further the spiral part 142, in the diameter reduced state, engages the diameter reduction position holding part 18 and the cap member 20 thereby the grasped wire 5 can be held.

Abstract: A cable support apparatus is provided including an elongate flexible spine member selectively bendable into a number of different configurations and a plurality of support members, at least some of the plurality of support members being attached to the elongate flexible spine member at least at two points along the length thereof, while permitting substantial bending by hand of the elongate flexible spine member. Each of the plurality of support members defines at least one area adapted to receive and support a cable therein. The cable support apparatus may include a mounting terminal that is formed adjacent a juncture between one of the plurality of support members and the elongate flexible spine member, the mounting terminal is configured and dimensioned to cooperate with hardware to facilitate mounting the cable support apparatus to a structure positioned a vertical distance away from the cable support apparatus.

Abstract: A tensioning clip and high voltage wire holder is disclosed, which includes a body portion, hooked portions which extend out from the body portion, each for grasping a degaussing cable, and maintaining it against a cathode ray tube, and a clip, disposed opposite the hooked portions, and connected to the body portion, that maintains a high voltage cable away from the cathode ray tube.

Abstract: A bracket for supporting decorative lights from, for instance, a rain gutter of a building having a member that extends under a gutter support such as a gutter nail or gutter nail with a sleeve around it, the bracket member having extensions that extend away from the nail and then rise to the top of the gutter, extend over it and down a short distance where these extensions extend toward one another and then away from one another after approaching to a distance that approximates the diameter of the socket for the bulb. The extensions moving away from one another are in the form of spirals to hold the wires extending from the socket. The downward part of the extension may be angled inwardly to maintain contact with an inwardly sloping outer surface of the gutter.

The legs of the U-shaped member lie in planes which diverge by an acute angle and which intersect through the base of said U-shaped member.

Abstract: A pair of wire channels each have a cross U-shaped end wire of predetermined diameter joined to ends of longitudinal wires. A U-shaped clip engages around the end wires between a respective pair of the longitudinal wires. It has a floor engaging the two end wires and is formed with a pair of flanks each engaging a respective one of the ends wires and each formed with a respective formation retaining the respective end wire against the floor.

Abstract: A one-piece device for storing a pool cover which is removed from a position covering a swimming pool, having an upstanding perimeter sidewall, to a position adjacent the sidewall. The device includes a pair of U-shaped storage members having upper legs which are integrally coupled together and cantileverly supported integral lower legs which cooperate to define an inwardly receiving opening. Mount members, which are integral with the lower legs and extend toward the upper legs, are provided for mounting the U-shaped storage members in a position in which the upper legs and at least a portion of the opening is disposed at a level above the upper end of the pool sidewall.

Abstract: An annular sustained release pheromone-dispenser having a shape which is favorable for packaging and transportation, easy installation and which can maintain its installed condition over a long time. And is easily handled. Also provided is a tool for easy and rapid installation of the pheromone-dispenser at elevated locations. The inventive sustained release pheromone-dispenser has a plurality of a parallel arranged plastic tubes which are capable of being semi-resiliently deformed. The ends are fused together and the central portions are independent and can form an annular space by separating the tubes from one another.

Abstract: A modular storage system which includes a support rail mounted on wall or ceiling, in horizontal or vertical orientation, with slidably adjustable cantilevered hooks, from which are hung storage boxes fitted with a frame on the open side, and a transparent hinged door. A hanger and straps are utilized to attach the rigid frame to a storage box. Reinforcing support brackets can also be attached to a storage box on its underside or top, and suspended from cantilevered hooks of the modular storage system.

Abstract: A new bracket comprises a single piece of rod bent at the outboard end to provide a device for hanging a flower pot or other item. At the inboard or baluster end the rod is shaped by a series of four perpendicular bends. The length of the rod between the first and second bends and the length of the rod between the third and fourth bends are substantially the same and determined by the width of the baluster transverse to the bracket. The length of the rod between the second and third bends is determined by both the thickness of the baluster and the angle of the bracket relative to the vertical direction of the baluster. To remain in position the bracket relies upon friction with the baluster in combination with the weight of the bracket and load on the bracket outboard end.

The back segments of the arm portions are coupled to the middle portion. The arm portions are designed for resting a remote controller thereon. A generally U-shaped bracket is coupled to the middle portion of the elongate carrier. A bolt is extended through the bracket. The bolt is designed for extending through a looped end of a neck strap secured around a user's neck.

Abstract: A hanger for hanging a load chart on a delivery vehicle includes a hanging bracket and a self-balancing mounting arm. The hanging bracket has a hooked upper end and a lower end formed into an eye that the self-balancing mounting arm slides through. The mounting arm has a central portion and opposite hooked lower ends adapted to be removably inserted into holes in the load chart, the hooked lower ends each extending from the central portion in a direction that is generally opposite from the hooked upper end of the first rod. The hanger provides a unique method of hanging a load chart on a vehicle.

Abstract: A holster for a bed monitor electric control module consists of two substantially rigid continuous wire loops bent into identical inverted-Ls of height less than a height of the module and held in back-to-back spaced apart relationship by upper and lower substantially rigid parallel wire cross members fixed to rearward vertical portions of the inverted-Ls. The cross members are of length and the upper horizontal portions of the inverted-Ls are of contour so as to constrain horizontal movement of a module which is inserted downwardly therein and seated on the lower horizontal portions of the inverted-Ls. A hanger is formed from a resiliently flexible wire bent into a configuration compatible with the holster and which can be flexed to permit insertion cf the hanger into the holster, manipulation of the hanger within the holster and release of the hanger into interlocking relationship with the holster so as to constrain movement of the holster relative to the hanger.

Abstract: A mounting arrangement for mounting a backpack device on a trailer includes a beam with lateral projections and hooks on the ends of the projections to receive the frame of a backpack device. Preferably, there is at least one strap for securing the device in a vertical position on the mounting arrangement. To mount the device on the mounting arrangement, it is pivoted downwardly, to hook the device frame over the hooks, and is then pivoted upwardly, into a vertical position, and is secured in the vertical position so that it cannot pivot back down to come loose.

Abstract: The present invention comprises an elongated plastic hook assembly for the support of a sign or the like from an anchor secured to an elongated ceiling tile support member. The elongated hook assembly includes an elongated shaft having a first or upper end and a second or lower end with a first connection means arranged at the first or upper end of the elongated shaft and a hook member arranged at the second or lower end of the elongated shaft. The hook member and the elongated shaft have an annular locking segment connectively arranged therebetween. A web extends across the hook member to provide line of support for any further hook assembly saddled thereon, to minimize movement between any hook assemblies so connected.

Abstract: The object of the present invention discloses a portable plant-basket which can be disassembled and exchangeable in appearance for various occasions. The portable plant-basket comprises a body, a basket and optionally a base. The body is connected with the basket by several hooks thereof and further fastened by screws and nuts. The body is exchangeable by different appearances according to various occasions. Underneath the basket there is a staple fastener which is fitted on the horizontal part of the L-shape plate on the base. The staple fastener and the L-shape plate are fastened by a screw and a nut. Therefore, the portable plant-basket of the present invention can be combined and disassembled easily. Alternatively, the portable plant-basket can be used as a hanger without connecting with the base.

Each end of the inverted U-shaped section extends in a direction transverse to a plane on which the inverted U-shaped section locates, thereby forming an upwardly facing receiving section through which the second rod is extended. The receiving sections are parallel to each other and respectively joined with a first inclined section and a second inclined section. The first inclined section has a distal end extending across the second inclined section, thereby forming a first inverted U-shaped retaining section that is located above the first inclined section and the second inclined section. The second inclined section has a distal end extending across the first inclined section and, thereby forming a second inverted U-shaped retaining section that is located above the first inclined section and the second inclined section.

Abstract: A dish cloth dryer rack includes a wire-like frame having a dish-cloth drying portion thereof, which drying portion is curved to fit over a sink divider. The rack is held in place by feet which support the rack above the level of the sink divider, thereby providing a free air space between the rack and the sink divider. A tool-carrying basket may be integrally formed with the elongate portion to provide storage for soap and additional cleaning tools.

Abstract: A suspension apparatus is provided for hanging a space heater having a generally circular top cover for use in a livestock or poultry house. The suspension apparatus is designed to decrease the distance from a support cable end to the top of a space heater, thereby increasing the clearance between the space heater and the floor of the animal house. The suspension apparatus includes a Y-shaped member having a first arm and a second arm that are substantially equal in length. The Y-shaped member additionally includes a third arm that is shorter than the first and second arms. The first, second and third arms of the Y-shaped member are substantially in a common plane. An extension arm is provided, which is slidably mounted on and in parallel relation to the third arm of the Y-shaped member. The first and second arms of the Y-shaped member and the extension arm are engageable with apertured tabs typically provided on a top cover of a space heater. A hook element is fashioned on the extension arm.

Abstract: A hook assembly including a hook adapted to be releasably attached to a portable masking device that adheres tape to masking material to form a composite masking material having a portion of the coating of pressure sensitive adhesive exposed so that the exposed adhesive can adhere the composite masking sheet along a surface to be masked. The hook includes an attachment portion having adapted to lay along a handle for the masking device, and a generally C-shaped engagement portion extending from the attachment portion that defines a recess. The engagement portion can be positionable around a structure with the structure in the recess to hang the masking device on the structure.

Abstract: An article hanger or keeper comprises a wire formed as a major portion of one turn of a geometric solenoid with two hook end portions having bent-back ends which include bends of approximately .pi. radians (180.degree.) around a radius approximating the diameter of the wire, to provide hangers which may be used singly or in series. The hangers are easy for a human to install and lock or unlock, without a need for any auxiliary tool, but very unlikely to become accidentally unlocked. One disclosed embodiment utilizes a slightly elliptical turn, which renders the hanger self-orienting to deter one type of accidental unlocking.

Abstract: A holding device for positioning a beverage container adjacent an air conditioning outlet within an automotive vehicle to obtain a cooling effect includes a cup holder for holding the container and a grip, attached to the holder, which is connected to the air conditioner grill covering the outlet. The grip is preferably made of flexible metal wire formed with a U-shaped gripping area to be wrapped around the air conditioner grill, an intermediate area for adjusting the can to an optimal position, and a securement area which is adapted to be gripped in the cup holder.

Abstract: A pan assembly for mounting of recessed lighting fixtures in ceilings and the like such as between structural joists, the invention primarily comprises a pan frame formed of wire bent according to various embodiments of the invention into particular configurations capable of carrying standard cans or reflector housings, junction box structures and bar hangers inter alia for rough-in of downlighting fixtures. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the wire pan mounts adjustable bar hangers at first ends of the hangers while a junction box integrally formed with rail holders and mounted by the pan acts to mount the hangers at opposite ends of the hangers.

Abstract: In a merchandising display device, a peg board or other support is utilized to support a frame which is constructed of metal rods. A plastic receptacle is inserted into the frame, and products are placed inside the receptacle for bulk display. The receptacle slides in and out of the frame allowing customers to retrieve products therefrom. A group of the frame and receptacle combinations can be arranged on a peg board support to form a patterned display device. The frame is attached to the peg board with the use of J hooks and stabilizing pins. The frame is provided with a stop to prevent the accidental removal of the receptacle from the frame. Further, the receptacle is provided with a flat area for the placement of identifying labels.

Abstract: A knock down ready-to-assemble motor mount for supporting a motor within an air conditioning unit includes two substantially identical support structures perpendicularly arrangeable about a motor casing and held in perpendicular intersection adjacent the motor casing by a hub which straddles intersecting cross members of the support structures and provides a support base for the motor casing, whereby the support structures are held in a perpendicular arrangement about a motor casing by the hub without permanent welded or brazed attachment of the support structures.

Abstract: A finial for a lamp shade has a conventional finial base to screw onto the stud of a harp. A bail extends upwardly from the base and supports a hook from which an ornament can be suspended. An ornament having a chain thereon can be hung from the hook, or an adapter can be used to suspend a conventional finial. The conventional finial base has a central hole, and the bail is received within the hole and glued or otherwise fixed in place. The bail can be sized so the finial can be used on a lamp shade having downwardly extending wires, the ornament being supported above the lamp shade so the ornament appears to float above the shade.

Abstract: A beverage container holder provides for the holding of a champagne bucket or other similarly configured container, cantilevered from the edge of a table or other platform. The device thus does not require any space on the table, and further does not require a relatively costly and space consuming floor stand for the support of a champagne bucket or the like. The holder generally comprises a round ring adapted to hold a tapered cylindrical bucket or container therein, with a smoothly curved support leg extending therefrom and secured to the ring at a single point. The lower end of the support leg includes a single lower contact point, while the upper end of the leg includes a transverse member extending thereacross, in an approximate T configuration. The opposite ends of the transverse member form two upper contact points, with the single lower and two upper contact points defining a stable three point attachment for the holder.

Abstract: A hanger for engagement on a support member having a front face and first and second parallel sides, such hanger having a load-bearing portion and a support member engagement portion, such support member engagement portion formed with a fulcrum and arm members attached to hook members having sharpened ends which hanger, when engaged on the support member with the fulcrum against the front face of the support member, causes the support member engagement portion when a load is placed on the load-bearing portion to rotate on the fulcrum, exerting leverage to embed the sharpened ends into the first and second parallel sides of the support member.

Abstract: A miniature discharge lamp tube holder having clamp, and stake is disclosed. The miniature discharge lamp tube holder snaps to the mid section of a small diameter discharge lamp, and has a stake end that may be inserted into a formed hole in the lamp housing, or may be pressed directly, or with the help of heat, into the body of the lamp housing to thereby securely couple to the lamp housing, and securely clam to the lamp housing. The one piece support is easily installed, and still accurately holds the lamp. The support allows easy insertion and removal of the lamp, acts to dampen lamp vibration, and allows the tube to slide axially during thermal expansion and contraction. The support also minimizes the dark spot caused while holding the lamp, and minimally interferes with projected light.

Abstract: An article holding assembly for a pegboard having a plurality of cruciform slotted openings is provided with at least one article-holding support bracket that has a pair of arms each having a resilient U-shaped clip end portion that clamps the support bracket tightly to the pegboard in either a vertical or horizontal position.

Abstract: An attachment apparatus is provided for attaching an elongated shaft to a structural element, wherein the shaft defines a longitudinal axis, and the structural element includes an opening through the structural element which defines a central axis extending in a direction generally perpendicular to the axis of the shaft. The apparatus includes a helical coil of wire having a central coiled section and opposed end sections protruding from the coiled section, an inner space defined by the coiled section that is sized to grip the shaft and to prevent relative axial movement between the helical coil and the shaft when the coil is mounted on the shaft, and a fastening assembly for fastening the apparatus to the structural element when at least one end section is inserted into the opening.

Abstract: A wire tank support bracket for cart mounted fuel tanks, particularly LP gas tanks for barbecue cart and grill assemblies, the LP gas tank being securely fastened to a bottom shelf assembly of the cart assembly by a bracket. The bracket has two ends pivotally supported upon opposed legs of the cart assembly, and a spring comprised of a curved section and two adjacent square sections engages the tank collar of the LP gas tank, securing the LP gas tank to the cart assembly.

Abstract: A holder for a plate designed to be mounted on a vertical wall or other surface having a circular plate-engaging rigid wire ring and a plurality of bendable wire loops spaced about and secured to such wire ring, such wire loops being adapted to be bent over and around the edges of the plate positioned on said ring to secure such plate fixedly against the ring. Also secured to such ring is a hang loop adapted to engage over a projection such as a nail or screw to hang said ring and associated plate on a wall or the like.

Abstract: A railing hanger is provided for hanging a plant from a deck rail. The railing hanger has a pair of substantially parallel planar brackets each including a pair of integral oppositely opening hooks. An upwardly opening hook on one bracket is joined with an upwardly opening hook on the other bracket by a plurality of transverse U-shaped stiffeners. The brackets and the stiffeners collectively define an upwardly opening container for receiving a plant. A downwardly opening hook on each bracket is selectively self connecting to the top of the railing and resists movement of the container laterally away from the rail. In an installed position, the container is spaced laterally from the railing and the bottom wall of the container is substantially horizontal. A rearwardly extending leg on the railing hanger prohibits movement of the container toward the rail.

Abstract: An apparatus for hanging suspended ceiling structures from an overhead surface, such as a spanning joist or beam, includes a fastener adapted for adjustable securement into the overhead surface and a flexible, elongated, suspension wire having a first end for attachment to the fastener and a second end for attachment to the suspended ceiling structure. Integrally formed from the wire at the first end are a plurality of adjacent coils which are adapted to encompass the fastener. The coils loosely contact the fastener so that free rotation of the fastener, for selective adjustment in the overhead surface, can be accomplished without turning and binding the pendent wire.

Abstract: A pan rack for a mixing machine is mounted to the mixing machine independent of dimensional and locational variances from machine to machine of typical bowl support mounting pins and hole. The pan rack has a mounting section which includes a hook that engages the lower surface of the bowl support, and the mounting section further has spaced corners that rest on the upper surface of the bowl support such that the pins on the upper surface of the bowl support are received by the mounting section corners. A locking collar is slidably mounted on the hook. The collar is moved into contact with the front surface and locked on the hook to prevent horizontal motion of the pan rack.
