Abstract: A concrete screed or form support, for holding forms in position for the pouring of concrete. They are of prestressed metal and are readily attached to various shapes of the common concrete form stakes such as round, square or rectangular.
Abstract: A device for locking the blade of a rotary lawn mower from rotation comprising a handle and two side members in planar relation with the handle and oriented normal to the handle, each of the side members having attached thereto a leg extending outwardly from the side member and forming a channel between the leg and the side member for receipt of a rotary mower blade and additionally being spaced from the side member to form a groove between the legs and the side members for receipt of the vertical element of the mower housing; means at the groove between the legs and the side members for causing a friction fit of the device on the mower housing.
Abstract: Apparatus for attachment to an air conditioner condenser for applying a mist of water or other liquid to the coils and fins of the condenser to improve the heat transfer capability of the condenser. The apparatus includes a spray nozzle, support means for the spray nozzle, fluid conductors, a fluid valve member, temperature sensing means, and a valve control member. The temperature sensing means, through the valve control member, causes the spray to operate only when certain predetermined temperature conditions exist.
Abstract: To support articles on a perforated vertical board, a first end of a wire hanger having a tapped hole in it is moved upwardly through a lower hole of the board until the tapped hole is aligned with an upper hole and it is fastened there by a screw threaded from the front of the panel, with a hook on the second end of the hanger extending from the front of the board to hold an article.
Abstract: A goblet-type receptacle holder characterized by a plurality of receptacle receiving channels on each side of a central inlet channel with which the receiving channels communicate. The receiving channels can be defined by the parallel disposed legs of substantially W-shaped members. A first pair of substantially U-shaped members connected to the W-shaped members at the ends thereof remote from the inlet channel provide support for the holder via fasteners passed therebetween and a second pair of substantially U-shaped members provide additional support for the first pair of U-shaped members. The second pair of U-shaped members also provide for interconnecting and rigidizing the holder components. The character-shaped members and other support and linkage rods can be metallic rods or strips and can be of a material susceptible to resistance welding.
Abstract: An article supporting apparatus including a bracket which can be selectively placed and locked onto a supporting standard. A shelf, or other article holding device, is connected to the bracket. The bracket includes a U-shaped clip with transversely offset extending arms at the ends of the clip and longitudinally extending legs at the opposite ends of the arms. One of the legs includes an offset portion which lies in the same plane as the U-shaped clip. The standard includes three spaced apart bars positioned so that when the arms of the bracket sit on the middle bar, the bight of the U-shaped clip will be securely retained behind the upper bar and the legs of the bracket will straddle the lower bar. The bracket can be easily removed and repositioned at another location on the standard.

Abstract: A bracket for displaying and storing musical instruments such as guitars, banjos, mandolins, fiddles, or the like. The bracket suspends the instrument by its neck. The bracket may be attached to a wall or ceiling, or suspended from a ceiling by a chain.
Abstract: An elongate rod is formed with an "S" shaped terminal portion at one end for providing an inner, or first, downwardly-open loop-adapted to be engaged by a member to be supported, and an outer, or second, upwardly-open loop adapted to restrain a member bearing thereagainst. The other end of the rod terminates in means for either securely, though releasably, anchoring the rod to a portable support base which is adapted to be affixed to a support surface, or means for securely, though releasably, anchoring the rod to a support surface, per se.
Abstract: A carrier for a ball such as a baseball adapted to be mounted on a bicycle, the carrier being formed of a single integral piece of wire generally in the form of a Figure - 8, having a large lower loop converging to a constriction, and then diverging and terminating in a smaller upper loop. The carrier is bent to correspond to the spherical surface of the ball, with the smaller loop clamping the ball against the larger loop and maintaining the ball in place. An integral pair of eyes are provided at the ends of the larger loop for mounting on an object such as a bicycle.
Abstract: A foldable stand for a soldering iron comprises a holder having a rear end articulated to a base in the form of a wire bracket with two lateral arms which converge in a forward direction away from its junction with the holder, the arms passing through two pairs of openings in a slider linked with a front end of the holder whereby a rearward shift of the slider folds the holder against the bracket. The openings are so spaced that this rearward shift causes an overlapping of the free ends of the arms which have nooks registering with each other in that overlapping position to form a cradle about which the electric cord of the iron can be wound.
Abstract: An improved compact device easily attached by sliding it onto one post of a standard roll-type toilet-tissue holder for positioning a container of a material particularly usable for health care or personal hygiene purposes at that location, e.g., a material such as prewetted or self-wetting sheets, an encapsulated liquid, a pressurized liquid, etc., and holding the container in a given manner pending or during its usage.
Abstract: An accessory having a platform for supporting a note pad in horizontal writing position adapted to mount along the rear of a desk telephone has a pair of openings in the platform positioned to be engaged by the projecting tops of the rear pair of cradle posts and a third opening therebetween for holding a writing instrument in upright position. A wire brace is hinged to fold against the bottom side of the platform for packing and shipping and has a stop means whereby the brace assumes as acute angle with respect to the platform when the latter is in a horizontal position to facilitate mounting on the telephone. A modified platform has upstanding tabs for supporting a calender and a removable wire guide for mounting a small directory in closed position or in open position for viewing contents thereof while dialing.
Abstract: A tennis ball holder having a pair of generally parallel support arms which form a cage-like structure for containing two vertically stacked tennis balls. The support arms are coupled together at the top of the holder and have free ends at the bottom thereof to permit the holder to be spread apart for releasing a tennis ball when desired. The holder may be readily attached to the belt of the player to provide extra balls as required.
Abstract: A rotating frame animal trap is held between a pair of spaced prongs. Each prong has a pair of pegs protruding inwardly to straddle a respective pivot of the trap. The prongs are held together by a ring that slides into position by gravity after a trap is positioned between the prongs. The prongs are inserted in the ground to hold the trap at a desired height.
