  • Publication number: 20010048260
Abstract: A rotor for an electric motor includes a plurality of annularly disposed rotor magnets, a frame made of a steel plate and having an annular wall disposed outside the annularly disposed rotor magnets so as to be located at a side opposed to the stator with respect to the rotor magnets, the annular wall having an open end, a ring member made of a magnetic material and disposed along the annular wall of the frame at an inner or outer circumferential side of the annular wall, and a resin molded member comprising a resin for integrating the rotor magnets, the frame and the ring member together.

  • Patent number: 6321439
Abstract: A stator assembly method is disclosed for constructing a generator stator in the field. For stator assembly, the method includes the steps of positioning a stator frame on an assembly site; inserting a plurality of stator core modules into the stator frame; clamping the stator core modules together to form a stator core, attaching the stator core to the stator frame; and, winding a plurality of coil windings into the stator core. The stator may be positioned substantially vertically or horizontally at various steps in the method. The stator assembly method may also employ an assembly base to facilitate construction of the stator in the field.

  • Patent number: 6286199
Abstract: A method for assembling an inside out motor includes the step of stacking a plurality of laminations together to form a pole member. A stator is molded around the pole member so that an end of the pole member is located adjacent an exterior surface of the molded stator. An electrically conductive magnet wire is wound around the molded stator adjacent the pole member to form a winding of the motor.

  • Patent number: 6272734
Abstract: The relay is formed from two half-shells which are formed by extrusion coating the functional elements with plastic. A first half-shell is formed by extrusion coating a coil with a U-shaped core, while a second half-shell is formed by extrusion coating a spring support and at least one fixed contact element. A contact spring having a flat armature is attached to the spring support. The relay is adjusted and at the same time sealed by the process of joining the two half-shells.
