Abstract: A film stretcher utilizes a spring bias to clamp the film. The film stretcher may include a stretch head having one or more clamps positioned about the film in locations necessary to clamp the film for stretching in one or more axes. The clamp may utilize a spring to provide the clamping force. The stretch head may include structures that operate to counter the spring bias to move the clamp to one state and then to allow the spring bias to move the clamp to another state. Thus, the stretch head may effectively clamp and unclamp the film.

Abstract: A clamp fixture with multi-directional opening comprises a front clamping head, a rear clamping base, a top and a bottom pressing plates and two latching bases. The latching bases are provided on top of the front clamping head and the rear clamping bases respectively. Each of the latching bases further comprises a bracket, a pin shaft, a thumb latch and a torsion spring. The thumb latch can be pressed down to securely position the top pressing plate, cooperating with the bottom pressing plate which feeds through the front clamping head and the rear clamping base to form a space for securely clamping the working objects with multiple panels. The operation is simple and the structure is compact.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing gypsum board. The method includes the steps of mixing a predetermined amount of fibers, absorbent, and water to form a mixture of wetted, loose fibers, mixing the wetted fibers with predetermined amount of dry calcined gypsum, forming the mixture into a matt having a substantially uniform consistency and compressing the matt to form a board composed of bonded fibers and gypsum. The resulting board has a smooth exterior and can be a homogeneous or a multilayer board.

Abstract: A clamp fixture with multi-directional opening mainly comprises a front clamping head, a rear clamping base, a top pressing plate, a bottom pressing plate and two lock clamping bases. The front clamping head consists of two side plates which are riveted together by a lower stud shaft and a central stud shaft. The central shaft has a bolt, the front portion of which has a pushing block, and the rear end of the bolt has a wing nut connected thereto. Moreover, the rear clamping base also consists two side plates to cooperate with a lower stud shaft. The central stud shaft is inserted with an inverted U-shaped blocking base for holding the objects to be clamped. In addition, the upper and the bottom pressing plates are designed to have appropriate thickness. The two lock clamping bases are respectively installed on top of the front clamping head and the rear clamping base. Each of the lock clamping bases is made up of a bracket, a stud shaft, a screw bolt with a holding block.
Abstract: Wood clamp apparatus for preventing the bowing of wood stock during the process of joining a plurality of wood strips including an underlying support for supporting a plurality of longitudinally extending strips of wood which are supported thereon, a pair of clamping blocks, and mechanism mounting one of the clamping blocks for movement toward and away from the other of the clamping blocks to exert edgewise pressure on the strips and clamp the plurality of board strips therebetween, and anti-bowing mechanism for precluding the upward bowing of the strips out of the plane of the strips, when the clamping blocks are in the clamping position, including laterally extending hold-down mechanism spanning the upper surfaces of the strips, and mechanism coupled to the clamps for vertically moving the hold-down mechanism between a raised position for vertically moving the clamping mechanism between a raised inoperative position and a lowered strip-clamping position, for exerting downward pressure on the strips to clamp
