The latching assembly includes a latching portion having an engagement surface and a manually operable latch lever with a pawl engagable with the latch lug, and a pivot portion with a bearing surface slidably engagable with the bearing surface of the pivot support post. To install, the pivot portion is maneuvered onto the pivot post bearing surface, the assembly is rotated by substantially ninety degrees about the bearing surface of the pivot support post until the latching portion engagement surface encounters the bearing surface of the latch support post. The latch lever is manipulated to engage the latching pawl with the latch lug.

    Abstract: A vehicle for transporting a child (stroller, carriage or buggy) with a safety side handle pivotally connected to the vehicle frame. The pivot point for the side handle is located forward of the rear of the vehicle by a distance equal to at least about one-quarter of the front-to-back dimension of the vehicle. Better results are obtained if the distance mentioned is about one-third of the front-to-back dimension of the vehicle, and a distance of about one-half that dimension is preferred. The handle pivots from an inoperative position alongside the vehicle to a laterally extending, operative position, where it can be pushed to move the vehicle forward. The preferred form includes a collapsible tray table attached to the rear of the vehicle. The side handle may be attached indirectly to the vehicle frame through a pivotable attachment to the outer end of the side handle support frame that is in turn directly and pivotally attached to the vehicle frame.

Work surfaces (46,50) boast a size of 51.times.69 cm. and 51.times.74 cm. while the station base (8) is 31.times.41.times.84 cm. high. A middle leaf of the extended work surface doubles as a collapsible stool (38) which is 31.times.41 cm..times.36 cm. high. Full work surface length is 173 cm. Station base appropriately is designed to house heavier, bulky items in a bottom bin and by virtue of the two walled simplistic design structure, is easy to access bulky items. Similarly, three storage drawers (28) also access from two sides.

    Abstract: There is disclosed an improved grain cart comprising a mobile frame adapted to be pulled by a vehicle, such as a tractor. The frame supports a grain hopper or box. The hopper includes an inset front corner area. An auger for unloading grain from the hopper is located entirely outside the hopper. The auger includes a sump for receiving grain from the hopper, the sump being positioned on a lower, outside wall portion of the inset front corner area. Between the sump and the surface of the outside wall portion of the inset front corner area there is a grain shut off door for controlling a flow of grain from the hopper to the sump. A hydraulic cylinder is mounted adjacent to the sump and is connected to the grain shut off door for opening and closing the door. A conduit is connected to the sump, and a drive assembly is provided for conveying grain through the conduit. The drive assembly includes a gear box having a shaft connected to auger flighting disposed inside the conduit, and a drive shaft.

    Abstract: A rocker/tricycle combination toy is provided that can be used as either a rocking toy for children or a conventional tricycle. A tricycle can detachably connect to a rocking base so that a child can sit on the tricycle and rock back and forth. The rocking base is curved about a transverse axis for allowing rocking motion in a longitudinal direction. The tricycle is connected to the base through a support that includes a locking post that engages a socket provided in the underside of the tricycle. The rocking base can include troughs for receiving the rear wheels of the tricycle to retain the tricycle in alignment with the base. The rocking base can also include a trough for receiving the front wheel of the tricycle that allows a child to pedal the front wheel when the tricycle is mounted on the base. In another embodiment, the trough for receiving the front wheel can be configured to allow a child to steer the front wheel when the tricycle is mounted on the base.

The wheel assembly includes a handle which is welded to the assembly axle and is used to install the wheel assembly on the brackets by positioning the axle across the brackets, parallel to the bottom surface of the suitcase, then rotating the handle and axle through an angle until the axle and handle are retained by the brackets. The suitcase may then be easily transported over uneven surfaces on the two large wheels provided by the device. An alternate embodiment provides a plastic handle that may be removed for convenient storage.

Each carriage includes mounting brackets, caster brackets interconnected by a link, associated casters, and a suitable spring for urging the casters apart and into engagement with the vehicle floor to prevent the casters from rattling during operation of the vehicle.
