Abstract: A supporting device for a portable processing and/or telecommunication apparatus or an accessory having a first portion adapted to be supported by a supporting structure and a second portion having magnetic elements for retaining the portable processing and/or telecommunication apparatus or accessory is provided. The first and second portions are joined together in pivotable manner through a hinge allowing rotation of one of the first and second portions with respect to the other. The supporting device is adapted to assume a first configuration of minimum size in which the second portion is superimposed on the first portion, and at least a second configuration of use in which the second portion is rotated at a selectable angle with respect to the first portion, the first and second portions being hinged so that the supporting device opens like a book from the configuration of minimum size to a selected configuration of use.

Abstract: A clipboard apparatus for holding lottery tickets and collecting shavings from the lottery tickets. The clipboard apparatus has a base having a flat top surface and a bottom surface, the base has a proximal end and a distal end. A clip is coupled to the top surface of proximal end of the base, wherein the clip can secure one or more lottery tickets held on the base. A receptacle is at the top surface of distal end of the base, the receptacle has an open top, the open top of the receptacle faces towards the clip, wherein the receptacle can receive and hold the shavings scratched from the lottery ticket.

Abstract: A system for producing a flipbook includes a processor that receives a video comprising a plurality of frames, selects a start frame and an end frame, and a plurality of frames therebetween. The processor can analyze the frames of the segment to determine an average rate of change of the plurality of frames and a threshold of relative image difference based on the average rate of change of the plurality of frames and a baseline frame rate. The processor can select, based on the results of its analysis, a plurality of selected frames, each of the selected frames being separated from two other selected frames by a sub-segment of the video, wherein each pair of adjacent frames comprises a relative image difference above the threshold and wherein each selected frame meets quality criteria not met by one or more local frames.

Abstract: An olfactory sensory book that is operable to provide an olfactory stimulation that correlates to portions of the content of the book. The invention includes at least one perimeter panel wherein the perimeter panel has formed therein a plurality of scent compartments. The scent compartments have an opening wherein the opening is sealably secured with a removable cap member. The scent compartments include an interior volume wherein disposed within the interior volume is an absorbent material. The absorbent material is operable to be saturated with a volatile compound. Removal of the cap member during use of the book of the invention provides release of the fragrance of the volatile compound saturated on the absorbent material. The scent compartment is further configured with a slot and a screen member wherein the slot facilitates release of the fragrance. A rear access panel provides access to the interior volume of the scent compartment.

Abstract: The present invention is an elastic (mechanically stretchable), sanitizing pouch configured to receive and hold an Electronic Device of a predetermined configuration. The elasticity of the fabric used maximizes surface contact with the Electronic Device and the closeness of the fabric of the invention with the outside surfaces of the Electronic Device. A liftable and removable cover flap on the front of the invention is used to hold and access the inside of the invention. The back of the invention includes at least one pocket. The invention further includes a pull tab to help lift an Electronic Device out of the invention. While inside the invention, the silver ions are released in the fabric and inhibit the colonization of bacteria, viruses and fungus on the Electronic Device.

The pocket device includes a first pocket panel coupled to the first major panel and defining a first pocket with the first major panel, the first pocket panel having an edge positioned adjacent to a mouth of the first pocket. The pocket device further includes a second pocket panel coupled to the second major panel and defining a second pocket with the second major panel, the second pocket panel having an edge positioned adjacent to a mouth of the second pocket. The pocket device has a first reinforcing material positioned on the first pocket panel adjacent to the mouth of the first pocket, wherein the first reinforcing material is spaced apart from the edge of the first pocket panel.

Abstract: A board book album having stiff pages constructed from layers of white board material and having “hidden pockets,” each pocket holding two photographs, back-to-back, that are framed in die cutout openings in each page. Spacers to which the backs of the spreads forming the pages are glued allow each page to accommodate the thickness of the photographs without damaging the outer binding. Each photograph is protected by a piece of clear plastic. Each page can have a small concave notch along its unbound edge in order to allow a user to turn the pages more easily. The cover can have a frame attached thereto for holding a photograph. The album is sturdy enough to be handled by a small child without the photographs being damaged.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for displaying relative spending pattern data includes a process for displaying relative spending pattern data and/or an application for displaying relative spending pattern reports whereby, data representing various financial transactions is obtained and categorized by a computing system implemented financial management system. The financial transaction data is then stored. A user is then provided with a user interface including a capability to activate a selected item in order to generate a relative spending pattern data report for the selected item. Once an item is selected and/or activated, relative spending pattern report parameters are automatically selected based on historical transaction data and/or input by customers/users. A relative spending pattern report is then prepared using data from the computing system implemented financial management system and the relative spending pattern report parameters provided.

The second device provides an audio message back to the first device, which plays the audio message over a speaker. A third device captures the audio message as audio and uses the audio message to request a second authentication from the second device. The second device provides an authenticated session handle back to the first device for accessing the protected resource when both the first and second authentications are successful.

Abstract: A system for affixing a printed image onto a book cover, comprising a sleeve having a front surface, a back surface and four edges. The sleeve includes a front layer having a transparent window region surrounded by an opaque mask region and a back layer joined to the front layer along at least two of the edges, wherein the back layer is not joined to the front layer along at least one of the edges thereby providing at least one open edge adapted to receive the printed image. Adhesive strips having peelable coverings are affixed onto the back surface of the sleeve along at least two of the edges. The opaque mask region is adapted to cover the edges of the printed image, and the adhesive strips are adapted to affix the sleeve onto the book cover.

The book jacket includes a book jacket main body and pockets disposed respectively at two ends of the book jacket main body. An inner layer is disposed at the inner surface of the book jacket main body. When the book jacket is folded, the folding inner layer spine portion and the folding book jacket spine portion define an accommodating space therebetween. The book jacket spine portion has a slit, and a storage pull tab, one end of which is fixed to the inner layer spine portion, and the other end of which passes through the slit of the book jacket spine portion and extends outward. The inner layer spine portion has a bookmark. The present disclosure cleverly forms an accommodating space for storing eyeglasses in the book jacket.

Abstract: A cover assembly joins with a book to enable a sheet to display from the book, and to provide protection to the sheets within the book. The book includes a check book. The sheet slides between a transparent upper cover and a transparent lower cover through a sheet reception portion. The upper cover and the lower cover join at a cover binding end that pivotally opens and closes the covers in conjunction with a book binder. The cover assembly overlays the outer cover of the book, not affecting the functionality of the book or a plurality of book sheets inside the book.

The cover of the present invention generally comprises a front panel, a rear panel attached to and extending from the front panel, and a middle panel that extends from the opposite side of the rear panel. The inwardly facing surface of the front panel includes an elongated tab attached to or integral with its inner edge, with the tab including a longitudinally extending series of holes formed therethrough. A coiled wire passes through the holes formed through the tab, and a book is also attached to the coiled wire thereby interconnecting the book to the cover.

The notebook includes a spine integrally formed with the front cover and the back cover.

Once the covers are within their sleeves hot air is applied from a hair dryer, heat gun or other heat emitting air flow device. When the hot air comes into contact with the heat sensitive plastic wrap it causes it to shrink and form itself snuggly around the book creating a sealed membrane around the outer cover of the book. Said cover may or may not have printing and or graphics on and about the cover and inside the cover.

The booklet insert in the form of a number of leaves has dimensions substantially the same as the dimensions of the cover, the leaves also having a transverse fold and forming pages. An opening is formed in the front cover panel. An adhesive layer is applied to the inner surface of the front cover panel and a transparent sheet is adhered to the inner surface of the front cover panel, the transparent sheet being larger than the opening, but shorter and narrower than the front panel, leaving an L-shaped marginal adhesive along two adjacent edges of the inner surface of the front panel.

A mount is adapted to secure writing paper to the pad.
